Hello, I'm here again and I'm alive and ready for work! I’m a nl10 break even player in a decent sample till now. I’m creating this thread to set a plan for moving up stakes.
My previous thread is here http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/174/poker-goals-challenges/nl10-6max-100k-hands-goal-1488067.
I had set a goal to 100k hands hopping that I was able to move up after this. The results was poor so I will continue to play nl10 even if my bankroll is for nl25. I will post my bankroll everytime to see my progress. I have in my mind this rules:

Stakes: Begin from nl10 and make control shots for the next stake when I have confidence in my game and an appropriate bankroll. Mostly 6max because of bigger experience but I will also try 9max from time to time.

Preparation: Warm up before each session by analysing some hands, or read a book, article, or watch a video or even do a sweat session with a poker friend. But first of all ask myself if I’m motivated to play and if I am in good physical condition.

Stop loss: Have a stop loss limit 3 BIs from the peak of the session.

Session length: Begin with 1 hour sessions and steadily play bigger ones to train my stamina.

Table selection: At least one fish on my right or next to my right. It’s an easy job at nl10. I will use tablescan turbo.

Session review: Review my session after the end most of the times, take notes to regs with big history and sometimes post an interesting hand. Alone or with a poker friend.

Database review: Once a week make a database review every Saturday. Alone or with a poker friend.

Hours: I don’t want to set standard hours or hands for each day or each month because it’s depended from a lot of things in my real life but I want to play at least 50k a month. Also I want to play the specific hours each day to build a better history vs regs and get used that these hours are for poker. Also avoid to play late at night, to avoid play when I’m tired from the rest of the day and sleep well in general.

I have my poker bankroll to many poker sites at this moment. The summary of my bankroll at this moment is 1311$.
That’s my first thoughts. You are free to make any suggestions. The road is long.

if uve been stuck at 10NL for the last 2 years and read books, watched videos, etc...get some coaching man..seriously

best investment i had ever made...there r coaches out there who will charge less than an $100 an hour who are winning regs in their games...

This is my first session at nl10 6max with max of 6 tabling:

I did a warm up by watching a live session at nl10 zoom from xflixx at his twich channel and it was very interesting and helpful. After the session I wrote 2-3 notes at some players and posted two hands: hand1, hand2.

Short term goals:

Build confindence and win at nl10 in decent sample.

Read the book "The Mental Game Of Poker".

Bankroll: 1319$

Paying 5 or more buy ins per hour of coaching is way too much imo. There's plenty of good material available for free for these stakes. Coaching shouldn't be necessary especially when table selecting

I agree with this. I have it in my mind maybe at nl25. There's plenty of good material available for free as you said. We are just lazy a lot of times to work and we remember it only when things go bad.

    Bumhunting at 888poker:

    And the funniest part:

I read some pages of the book mental game of poker for warm up and I took a decision to do a session at 888poker after a scan at the tables realize the extremely soft tables and it was a nice experience. Too many limps in comparison to pokerstars so you have to adjust accordingly and of course try not to tilt with what you see.

    Here is a funny hand:

    888 Poker - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    CO: $13.41 (VPIP: 46.84, PFR: 34.18, 3Bet Preflop: 3.77, Hands: 164)
    BTN: $14.54 (VPIP: 68.97, PFR: 27.59, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 29)
    Hero (SB): $10.18
    BB: $10.96 (VPIP: 21.23, PFR: 17.32, 3Bet Preflop: 11.11, Hands: 183)
    UTG: $10.00 (VPIP: 21.43, PFR: 16.55, 3Bet Preflop: 6.00, Hands: 145)

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has 9 9

fold, CO raises to $0.30, BTN raises to $0.50, Hero calls $0.45, fold, CO calls $0.20

    Flop: ($1.60, 3 players) 9 J T
Hero checks, CO bets $1.20, BTN calls $1.20, Hero raises to $9.68, fold, BTN calls $8.48

    Turn: ($22.16, 2 players) T

    River: ($22.16, 2 players) 7

    The guy had AKo
    the opener was a 47/34 (164 hands)
and the 3bettor and caller with the AKo was a 69/28 (29 hands)

    Fun at nl2 6max zoom:

Ending the sessions at nl10 yesterday, I discovered that I did not finish that stupid daily challenge playing 30 hands and get a ticket for freeroll all-in tournament every day. So I thought to visit the nl2 after a long time. So I thought to open four tables to finish quickly and for have some fun.
So emerged at the same table almost back to back these two hands:

Thats my biggest pot won: http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hands/Boom/12727828_CEAA911C13

    I played also one tournament for fun with some friends at 888 and lost 2$ + 2 x 1,80$ rebuys = -5,60$

I'm planning to play one more session tonight at nl10 6max.

Poor session at nl10 6max. At least I used my stop loss rule of 3 BIs. I broke rule of session length and I played almost 3 hours. I was at good tables so I took the decision to continue playing. As the graph shows I couldn't keep my A game for too long. I'm thinking to put an alarm at my mobile phone every time I start a session and stop whatever happens. There are good tables everytime at nl10 if you do a good selection, so sometimes is an excuse to myself to continue playing.

Not a big deal, a review of the session tomorrow and back to work. The good news that release my "pain" is that I unlocked the stellar reward 10$, and guess what. I realised that I had one more that I have forgot to take:

So I count only -9,30$ to my bankroll.
Also for motivation reasons I will set a goal to do a nl16 3 BI shot when I reach 1400$. My bankroll management is a little nitty but I like to feel confortable and most important I don't have convidence yet at nl10 neither facts that I can beat nl10 in a decent sample. So I have to build my confidence first before move up. Even if the shot will go well, I will still continue playing nl10 and mixing with nl16 when there are good tables.

Read the book "The Mental Game Of Poker" goal: 103/198 52%
    Bankroll: 1329,5$
Needed for the nl16 shot: 70,5$

You're certainly are massively rolled for your stakes.

Did you make a large initial deposit or did you grind and crush the **** out of 2NL/5NL?
