Well girls, boys, and everyone in between, the time has come to more formally close the thread down. I haven't been incredibly active in it the last few months, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I achieved the goals I wanted to achieve since my first post in 2022: I grew a shitton as a human and poker player, got a lot better at PLO, got a lot better at the mental game, and climbed out of the downswing.

Results since creating this thread:



Is online poker still profitable with all of the bots, hole card sharers, coward grimming regs who never play HU, and RTA ****ers? Yea definitely. Seems surprising but it's true.

I've made a ton of progress, but despite the progress, I still have a ton of leaks and a ton of room to improve in almost all areas. Right now when I think about the road ahead, it's way more exciting than daunting.

What's next for me? Definitely going to keep playing, studying, and improving. I still love poker. Hopefully play more live than online in 2024. I'm toying with the idea of streaming but it sounds awful in a lot of respects. However, there aren't a lot of PLO streamers from what i can tell, so it seems like an opportunity.

I'll leave the thread open and check periodically incase anyone has any questions. Also, if anyone out there wants to talk hands, strategy, life, poker etc. hit me up in the DM's. I would love to expand my pool of likeminded folk. I don't care what stake you play as long as you sincerely want to get better.
