Are you using display ports for the big screen? HDMI? (I thought HDMI didnt work well for large monitors except for watching netflix)

Im behind on the monitor connecting tech, im using DVI for big screens and VGA for small ones.

I bought my screens in 2014 I think, and I never bothered with anything but dinosaur connectors.

I'll be 80 and telling my grandkids that they don't make connectors like they used to.

From my experience display port and hdmi both works w 4k screens i usually prefer dp bc in the past hdmi had problems but i think the newer hdmi parts there is no difference anymore.

I havent even seen a vga port in years

What's the tldr with cold showers?
I know saunas are supposed to be incredibly beneficial putting your body into some temp shock. Same logic with cold showers?

I had issues getting 60hz refresh rate on my 4k monitor using HDMI but was able to get this using dp

That was the main issue in the past yes

If you want 60hz at 4k you need HDMI 2.0 cable
with HDMI 1.4 you can get only 30hz at 4k
and if it is an older HDMI cable you can`t even get 4k

Cheers gents. Don't think I'll ever mix it at 5k again tbh, I guess never say never but it would need to be an unreal spot, and I think I'll always prefer an investment property to the difference in roll required to play 2k and 5k.

Thanks dude - I took the first 6 or so days off to hang with my missus after working 6 days/week out there, then took it pretty easy first week or so I was back, then yeah the baby was a distraction. Plus I put in my first coaching hours of the year in Feb. IDK though, these are obviously excuses, I've mostly just been playing 1 longer session per day and it's a fairly weak effort. I have only 17 clear days this month due to aforementioned trips, if I fail to play 15k hands I'll be sending $10 to epiph, and to 4 bitb students as a penance

Yah I'm using 2x HDMI ports, getting 60hz on the big boi and that's fine for me. Honestly the wakeup time is worst property of this monitor (this monitor though I only paid 389gbp, I guess corona has jacked up the price since!?), takes like 4-5s which is kinda lame, but it was by far cheapest option with the specs I wanted.

Just read this post that G made in our coaching thread and felt compelled to share... we're still looking for probably 2 more guys to join our 200nl+ elite group to work with Makeboifin and FourSixFour this year. Coming up through the ranks I was in 3 CFP deals myself - I genuinely believe it's the best way to make substantial progress up the stakes, plus you get to be part of a super active group of guys who have the same drive you do. Missed this question re: cold showers, can't remember exactly what prompted me to get into it, I just do it now cause I feel amazing afterwards. Just turning the shower as cold as it goes (after normal shower) and breathing strongly and smoothly for 2 or so minutes under there, while following a little sequence of movements I've somehow decided on. Lifts my mood I'd say an average of 2.2/10 and makes me feel super awake/ready for the day. Good morning routine counts for a whole bunch imo, worth putting some effort into establishing

Why do you think someone should choose your cfp over others? If you were to look through ranks, obv choice would be MMA, or maybe jasamgale. But than again I saw a part of MMA course, and also some bitb videos, I was more impressed by your stuff(small sample), but than again, heard that his private cfp is way better. So basically q is how to choose best option? Also congrats on nice results

A great way to get into cold showers is to move houses and pay the deposit before the land lord tells you oh btw your room doesnt have hot water!

Bc you have ishter to teach youhow to run good. Even mma cannot teach you that. So fairly easy choice imo

CHECK the wim hoff method D, will give this that youre doing maybe some structure or theory behind it, but youre basically doing it right :P

Yep. Yours must be a new one.
If someone buys a new monitor which comes with lets say DP cable in the box, but he wants to use HDMI and decides to use the HDMI cable he used with his old monitor - thats where might be a problem, because that cable is most probably an older version. Thats why I wanted to clarify it

A few (biased) reasons why I think ours is better:

1) Smaller group, much better community, learnt a lot from bitB tournament on how to organise and make it fun to be in the group
2) More reasonable contract terms, some CFPs using super unethical chop methods, others with much much longer contracts
3) More transparency on coaches results
4) Almost all my daily study done within the group and streamed etc
5) Better beanies/ hoodies
6) MMA runs for the hills when makeboifin comes for the lobby
