been grinding the 500 games and most of the time when the pool is terrible, where i'm not even sure i'm winning win most pools. probably am , still should expect these swings more often. big difference from when i play 200z, where i expect to be one of the top 3 regs , and not lose more than 10BIs on my biggest downswing lol
i've also not been playing great in some of these sessions for some reason, letting the run bad take a roll in my game, guess i need to focus more.
still up for the month tho, can't complain
gonna post some strat hands for a change, if anyone wants to discuss them
Damn that downswing looks brutal , I suppose that they are fairly common with the small wr's and high variance style at 500z, though? Either way it looks like you've almost grinding out of it, gj
Hand 1 - I think it's WP, sucks he binked river but I like your line
Hand 2 - Uhh I wouldn't donk turn, but I'm a micro's player without a donking range and you're a 500z player with a much better idea of what you are doing lol
Hand 3 - Really interesting. I call if I think he turns JTs/JJ into a bluff and fold otherwise. IMO his range is something like 3x TT, 3x99, 2x9Ts, 3x QQ, AsQs and maybe 1 combo of KJs that xc's flop with the intention of moving you off your hand later? 13 value and he needs to have 4.6 bluffs here... 3xJTs 2x AKs 3x JJ AsKs is 9 combo's, so if he chooses to bluff 1/2 the time with them we call?

yes, as expected downswings are usually worst at 500, mainly because when you're running bad you don't have whales to get some of it back, so you just gonna have to keep grinding high variance spots vs regs anyway
leading ranges are usually used at random frequencies with some specific hands, and on these kind of boards where we both have a lot of top pairs, or pair+gutters, but are only gonna be betting with the top of our range using a donking range can be fine
yeh AA was a weird hand, i decided to x turn cause figured he had a lot of gutters and had to bluff some on the river, river is pretty bad, couldn't find a fold this time

had some rungood finally
this is how 500 is looking so far
and this month im up like 5k over 68k hands, still need to hit 80k hands till the end of the month, so gonna put in the hours.
Is 99 always a check vs btn on 846dd when you don't have a diamond? sick bluff
You musta felt good after that A3hh hand... lol, nh!
Same as the above, is AK on J32ss bvb 4bp always a cbet?
Congrats on those sick results bro, crushing it
Also... how much tougher do you think 500z is compared to 200z?
ahah not quite , maybe around the same, but thank you anyway :P

99 can go either way i would say, i decided to x, but betting is good too obv esp w/o a diamond
ahah yeh, whale with 10BI stack, flop the nuts ez game
AK i won't say if its always a cbet or not for me but i think this should be a high frequency cbet for value
well, 200 i can play half a sleep or drunk, 500 i kinda have to focus, but can still play drunk... regs are tougher obv, at 200 everyone always has the nuts and overfolds everywhere, at 500 not quite and much less fish which is annoying, its way more fun tho
