Crush the Rush (NL50) Crush the Rush (NL50)

Hey, my name is Mark and im a student from germany. Personally i dont really read the introductions, so i keep it short.
I played my Way through NL50 Rush FR, from 5NL i think. Now that i got a decent hourly (well, for a student) i miss the volume.
So this Thread is mostly about me getting the motivation to grind more. I tried nearly everything to motivate me, gifts for a 30hour week
punishments for not playing , and very detailled daily plans, which i ignored 2 days later.

So im aiming for 150k Hands this month, 100k i consider still "winning". of course there is nothing to win but my general hourly.
Im 4tabling and make about 1200hands/h so 100k - 150k isnt THAT much. All in all about 4hours a day, sounds not that hard.

this month really sucked, i only played 20k hands, made around 100 bucks including rakeback (well 300 below AI-EV)
At the moment im playing with only ~20 Stacks, cause of black friday etc., but to move up i wanna have at least 50 Nl100 Stacks. Think its
much tougher there cause of the moved down NL200 Regs.

So what will you see here? I think some (maybe even positive) Graphs, some genius and some massive Fail Hands and all that other standard
crap. Maybe even some RL stuff, but im kind of a nerd.

So i hope my english is at least readable without raging, even for this text i had to look up 3 words. ^

First Day - Semifail

So i failed in terms of Volume, only played 1hour today. BUT i compared my Database to 2 databases from NL50/100 Winners (skype friends), and made some big changes in my game.

Up until now i think i "overused" any2 spots. I see a lot of any2 (Re)Steal spots, but it seems my sample is too small, or im too bad postflop.
So i changed to "static" ranges for stealing and restealing, of course i still mix it up. So im stealing and 3betting only "pretty" hands atm, SCs 1gappers Ax Kxs Broadways etc.

And then some "standard" Micro-leaks like barreling more, calling lighter, and be more aggressive.

So im up like 120bb and found some confidence in my "new" game.

Forget the Hand lol
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($50)
UTG ($132.15)
UTG+1 ($24.30)
MP1 ($48.20)
MP2 ($69.30)
MP3 ($65.80)
CO ($20.75)
Button ($60.80)
Hero (SB) ($77.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, Q
5 folds, CO bets $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.75, 1 fold

Flop: ($4.50) 2, Q, A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $3, Hero calls $3

Turn: ($10.50) 10 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

River: ($10.50) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

Total pot: $10.50 | Rake: $0.50

VIllain was an aggressive player who steals a lot and moves a lot of flops. So i thought an Ace or a Queen calls anyway on the River, but he maybe start bluffing the river cause my line looks so weak.

There are so many light 3-bettors in 50NL rush that it actually makes a lot of sense to tighten up a bit.
GL OP, I failed where you are striving to succeed.

oh god just had to quit right now so im not starting to tilt. IT was so ****ing obvious that FT is generatin action boards to make more rake...

i just had in 3.5k Day, flopped FH < flopped quads, AA < 66 on 6K36, 2x AK < AA, AA vs 47s in 3betpot on 447,flopped flush < flopped flush, i made 2 backdoorflushes vs OP, Villain just made the runner runner straight against my quads.

its just unbelievable how many setups were dealt today on both sides, obv much much more against me.

so overall jsut dropping and winning 4, 5, 6 Stacks liek it was nothing. in a Fullring Game with a tight style...

So enough of the Flame and Whine. Till hand ~3400 i was kind of proud for not tilting, but these 4 flopped FH < quads style setups just gave me the rest.

Lets see if i can find some interesting hands...

UTG+1 ($53)
Hero (MP1) ($128.85)
MP2 ($53.90)
MP3 ($17)
CO ($114.50)
Button ($235.40)
SB ($54.85)
BB ($40.90)
UTG ($34.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 5, 5
2 folds, Hero bets $1.50, 3 folds, Button calls $1.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($3.75) J, 7, A (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, Button raises to $7.50, Hero raises to $23.50, Button calls $16

Turn: ($50.75) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $32, Hero folds

Total pot: $50.75 | Rake: $2.50

Deep pure bluff vs 16/14 with 33% Raise Cbet and 15% ch/r over 500 Hands
I think he will attack that kind of flop a huge amount of the time.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (MP3) ($50.75)
CO ($57.50)
Button ($20)
SB ($50.65)
BB ($6.95)
UTG ($17.25)

SB checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB calls $2.50, 2 folds

Turn: ($9) 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.50, SB calls $5.50

River: ($20) A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Total pot: $20 | Rake: $1

SB = 11/8, 23 WTSD
I think a Preflop 3Bet would isolate me only vs better Aces, so i decided just to coldcall and basically play my hand like Ax suited.
Flop and Turn is quite standard i think, he'll call me with FDs Overpairs, maybe an 8. 9 ist still a sucky card though.

So river i hit at least my TPGK, should i bet again for thin Value? his most likely holding is TT/JJ a busted FD, a 9 that beats me, and sometimes an 8. So he has to call a 3rd Barrel with 2nd Pair, which isnt very likely. But a 9 maybe would have raised the Turn, so i can disount some combos... bet? ^^

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7, 7
Hero bets $1.50, 6 folds, SB calls $1.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($3.50) 4, 4, 7 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB calls $2.50

Turn: ($8.50) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.50, SB calls $5.50

River: ($19.50) 6 (2 players)
SB bets $8, Hero raises to $41.60 (All-In), SB calls $33.60

Total pot: $102.70 | Rake: $3

Results:
SB had 4, 4 (four of a kind, fours).
Hero had 7, 7 (full house, sevens over fours).
Outcome: SB won $99.70

to obv FTP...waaaaay to obvious
