I've been playing poker for god knows how long probably right before Black Friday.

Have always sucked and RB Pro. But things are going to turn around now.

This month's grind so far at Pokerstars 200NL Zoom.

It's a small sample so we'll see how it goes for next 200k hands.

The goal is to play 120k hands a month and be playing 500NL in a few months time. Right now only at 70k VPP for the year. A lot of catching up to do.

Starting to up the volume a bit. Goal is to be able to grind 7k hands a day by the end of this month. It's not going to be easy but if anyone has any good tips on how to increase volume without losing an edge that would be great!



Nothing really special but an easy day's grind. Still running pretty bad in terms of getting my cards distribution. This month my set % is only 9.8%. But still managing to win so we can't really complain.

This is the whole year's grind. I have yet to play much 500NL. Only 748 hands there. Won myself 3 BI's and hope to grind some more soon when I have a sufficient bankroll for that stake.



I'm also playing some regular tables on other sites but these are specifically my Stars account.

This game is so complicated! Everytime I get better, I see there is always more work to do. The more I work, the more I see. The more I see, the more I know that there's a lot of work ahead of me to get where I want to be at the end of the year!

It's very nice to make this money when all you do is sit in front of the computer all day and not even spend a single cent of your earnings.

Does anyone know what the best winners are winning at for 200NL Zoom and 500NL Zoom?

This was not the intention. I'm pretty sure I was sitting in your chair not too long ago! With some hard work, and a good mindset, anyone can do it! You can believe that someone suddenly gets better because of luck. I think there is always more to it than you think! I have worked really hard and hopefully the hard work will pay off even more!

First thing I did was get rid of all the Skype Groups. I also stopped watching poker video's. I figured if they weren't helping me at all for the first 1million hands, something is wrong! I dedicated time to just consistently working on my game and slowly but surely something clicked! (Or maybe not. Maybe just a fish on a heater.)

It isn't as impressive as it looks but it sure does beat working at McDonalds. I think the volume itself is what makes it look like it's a lot. I intend on increasing volume to hopefully be able to grind up to 200k hands a month. If anyone wants to discuss hands who are playing zoom, feel free to contact me!

Id say 200 can be beat for 8bb/100 probably by the very best. maybe even a bit higher, like 10.

and Id say 500 should probably be around 5-6bb/100 for the very best.

Just guesstimating tho. Depends which hours you play also. If you also play when its night time for UK there are a lot more fish to regs ratio on zoom imo. Also Im talking about the best regs on the limit, of course someone who beats 200nl by 10bb/100 over a good sample is probably not playing it, or has the skill to play higher. And someone who plays 2knl could achieve such a winrate imo. I have like 6bb/100 over a good sample there, and Im not close to those other players Id say-. Playing balanced is the key imo, but so is knowing the regpool, like what are the usual tendencies in the limit, you can exploit most players quite a bit

I spent a whole hour talking with chillskill! This kid knows his stuff! We found out that our games are very similar.

The goal is to work with him and try to CRUSH 500NL and beyond!

I'm confident that we will. Two brains are always better than one! Today was uneventful. Didn't do much grinding because I spent the whole day talking to all of you nice guys who have contacted me. I'm hoping I can help all the guys as well as get some good advice from all that are better than me!

This isn't the way to warm up or gear up for my grind. But it was all worth it talking to a whole bunch of poker players. This is what I love about poker is the community!
