Alright i realised i forgot this thread in the mess of life, i got into a relationship which was taking up alot of my time (we decided to end it last week, and on good terms, it just didn't match). She had some expectations that when the work day ended, it was 'family time', so my poker play these past month's have been limited.

I just got back from a 2½ week vacation (just stayed in the country / sweden, and borrowing friends and family vacation houses / forest).

Took a trip to sweden with no phone or anything, and went back packing in a huge forest a family member own, was bloody ****ing refreshing after all i've been though.

Now im back, rested, single, and ready to get my grind on again.

Lets toss a little update, i decided to reboot my NL50 graph when i got back home, after checking it for the first time since i started at NL50 (up 1.4 Bi on PS, a bit more on PP but no graph). But to start from fresh, and with a more focused mind on getting things done.

Work: Im still working quite a bit, my mini gym is close to be done, meaning i can start earning a bit on all the equipment i still have standing, and hopefully can turn a profit on that.

Construction work is still going okay, havn't actually been alot of it this month but still payed off a bit, will give a status in debt colum later.

Poker:
So as i said, i decided to reboot my graph, so this graph is the last few days since i got back home. This month will be without any goals, since life is very hectic after returning from being off the grid for a bit.

Plan for this month is to recover my thought pattern lol, being off poker for almost 20 days, naturally still thinking about it from time to time, but doing no real work, made my brain a bit droopy.

PS: Roll sits at 1145$
PP: Roll sits at 1280$

Have deposited 2k/5k from the loan.

Coming back strong in August with goals! Stay tuned.

DEBT:
I kinda like updating this part here, since it shows what hard work can get done, and i hope it can motivate others who might be in a similar situation to get their grind on.

Last update you had, was around mid may, where the goal was to get a combined 10k for april + may, which i did succeed at, but only due to doing some yard work for people on my street.

Which meant at the end of may i was from $155k down to 145k!

Which is 2 month's to pay off 10k$ which i was pretty stoked about, but that was just the beginning, the month of July, was quite insane.

We got in some minor projects, but alot of them, meaning the hourly was though the roof, i made a wooping 10k payoff in july, and another 2k from different side things.

So from a start in april of $155k, to the end of july i was down to just under 133k. I decided to sell out a bunch of stuff i had, which i felt i didn't need for the upcoming gym, and alot of private things, which got me almost $11k.

So when July ended i had only $122k debt left, it's still a very massive number. But it's moving quite steadily, and im very satisfied with the pace.

June have been a slow month, with vacations and such, i have only made around $4k this faar, and spend like $500 being away, so for now we sits at around $3.5k to pay off with, and if my back allows it (flaring up a bit again), i will get in 3 more work days, and would end around 5.5-6k to pay off with.

But i doubt im able to work more this month, need to be careful with my back when it starts to flare up, so im calling it at $3.5k.

Meaning as of now, im ONLY in debt of $118.5k - Which is waaaaaay beyond what i could've hoped for at this stage, and clients still havn't really picked up just yet, when that starts rolling for real, it should get even quicker.

I know i have been working way more than whats healthy, and what's good for me, it's just hard for me to say no when there is such a clear goal ahead, i feel like i want to do anything in my power to get this debt payd off.

More updates in the next month, in regards to whats ahead of us!.

TLDR:
Poker quite stale since i hit NL50 - Played around ~70k hands, but removed the first 60kish due to a decision to start from fresh after my vacation. But so ****ing pumped and ready to get at it, im so close to feeling ready to sit on NL100, and if i can do that, i can actually start making chump change to help accelerate the debt payoff.

Life, single and focused on me, my development and what lies ahead of me!.

Workout still lightly injured, so not doing much, but getting in whatever work i can do, i got a new PR the other day on bench press feet up (can't arch my back at all, so feet down sucks), but 17 reps at 100 kg, just working with light weights atm.

Debt is getting buuuuurned off at a ****ing rapid pace, still a long way to go, so there are no time to take off the grinding shoes, we still gotta show up, and get **** done!.

Alright quick post, not much to report from last update in regards to work nor poker.

Training is going alright, i finaly passed the 150 kg bench mark, so gonna start to push for 180 in the soft-sling in 2021, due to some shoulder impinchment, i will work with the sling for the rest of 2021. Hoping i can get that 180, it's a quite decent number, but im aware that it's shooting big, but once i get used to the soft-sling it should be alright. So assuming i can find atleast 170, and 180 if training goes well. Lower body still suffering from back pain, but getting the work in.

alright onwards we go, i have sucked at getting in poker volume, mainly because im ****ing strict, the second i feel i drop my A game im out of there, so it have been hard for me to put in +50k hand month's, since im often semi tired when i start playing, and can only maintain A game for bout 30-60 min and sometimes not at all.

So here are a few things, if i don't make my goals this and next month, i will start setting hard goals, meaning zero tolerance missing them (it works better for me.)

So goal for August will be atleast 1.5k hands daily, it's ''only'' 45k hands aprox, but alot of things going on atm.

I busted my phone, so i decided to not use the entire profit for debt payoff, so we are at 119k left. If i make 110k hands the next 2 months, or 80k hands this month, im allowed to buy a new phone. Otherwise im forced to live with this busted screen, it still works, it's just anoying.

Thats it for me, will try to make it more poker related going forward, but that requires me to actually put in some decent volume lol. I need to keep up with the study group, gotta get to NL200 this year, and i firmly believe i have the skillset for it.

those double or nothing tournies are really lucrative for me. Just play tight and have experience picking spots. It's more ABC with experience. Start low. The 20 and down ones are hard to get in worse than 50/50. Playing 1/2c... i guess you're not here to reverse your fortunes. Just remember that those double or nothing tournies are plus EV if you aren't horrific. I went a week feeding my tourny habit with these SNGs. I think it's hilarious how bad they are.
