You know one hand i've ever played.

I guess i'll start posting boring hands where i get it all in on AK and the another guy has QQ and we just race.

If i check the river he bets and i have to fold.

After 4 months of live play i'm even and maby a little up on 1/2 and still learning...I made this thread to see if i could do more than playing break even poker and take a shot at 2/5.

Will i probably lose...yeah...but that's why its a challenge thread...not a "im trying to do this so i can quit school" thread
Your being too closed minded. Your bet sizing is horrible. Its not that you got rivered everyone gets rivered. The betting line is horrible and the bet sizes are horrible. Thats how I know your not ready for 1/2.

Also you state you didnt mention the times you get it all in with AK against QQ for a race. Why would you get all in with AK pre-flop again another leak in your game you need to fix.

You also can't come in here with a argumentative attitude cause you dont like what we say, I dont have alot of post here but I have been very successful at poker for a while. Other people here have as well, and poker guys in general have an edge to them that comes off here as either being a smart a** or tough, If you can't handle this forum you def. are not ready for success in poker. Listen to people here and you will get better.

I can understand and appreciate this and do understand that my betting line was off. But when people are telling me that the play was bad and not offering a opinion on how to correct it next time its frustrating.

[QUOTE=black38;24835146]I dont understand why the play was bad when I straddled?

This is the first issue - you need to understand why. A poster addressed it earlier in the post.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear this is a level.

All of this contributes to why you're only breaking even. By just adhering to the simple advice already given in this thread and the principles behind that advice, your winrate would improve significantly. Read, read and read some more in the Micro NL and Live Low Stakes forums. You need to get an understanding of fundamentals before worrying about anything else.
