First some history about me.
I played every type of poker there is in my 5-6 years of playing poker (from FL, to card draw lowball or how its called, to PLo, to NL cash, 6max, FR, every sng there was, MTTs) and sadly in those 5 years i never moved out of micros. Well for some point i was low stakes cashgame player on Rush playing nl50 and nl100, but hot run ended and so my winnings

I never learned the game seriously, i always tought i will just mass table and that will be it, i can beat my low winrate by adding more tables and hourly will go up. Never doing session reviews. And last few months i think that my non skill level got to a point where I either need to stop playing or need to learn one certain format and stick to it.
Let me tell you. Being BE and getting money fro mrakeback only is not fun.
And its sad i realize this so late.

So this is what i will do. I will learn 6max as much as i can, my goal is to be Nl100 reg by end of the year, which will be really hard, but i am up to challenge.
I want to learn this game alot.
This thread will serve me as motivation. Feel free to tell me when i missplay hands and give me advice.
My goals are high, and this is not the only one. By the end of the next year i want to earn $150k prerakeback from playing poker. So hard grind is needed.
I want to start some online college course, which are free fwiw and finish it.
I want to workout regulary and find no excuses.

Easiest thing for me is doing regular workout. I always loved sports, and basically go in depression when i dont do it for some days.
Doing long grind session is also pretty easy for me since i was playing Mtts for few months, and was able to be in front of a computer for 15h straight without being too burned out. But sadly again, it was not full focus poker.
Atm i am still being sick, bcs weather is really crazy atm and i think it might start snowing in october if this continues. So i will start working out again next week.

My starting limit is on NL10 6max, but its on zoom tables.
Beating it solidly should give me a nice foundation before i move to normal tables.
In few days i will write my monthly goals, probably with some nice freerolls if i fail, but doing them now would be bit unfair as i am really sick and my head hurts and would probably ending in me creating really easily achievable goals.

Nice challenge.. Similar to mine, I want to reach 25NL by the end of the year (but aiming for 100NL ofcourse begin 2013).

Hope you'll make it, but from 10NL to 100NL in 3 months is hard to do.. May I ask, why do you chose 6max instead of FR? How many tables will you be playing at once? Whats your starting roll?

GL GL, I'll definatly follow you!

Well in 6max i think with a lot of learning i can improve more. I grinded nl25 FR in the past, i beat it with sth 1.5bb/100 24 tabling with SN rakeback it was lame 11$ per hour or so.
I am so tired of that boring grind. I find 6max much more interesting. I would go with HU sngs (for cash HU my BR is not big enough, only have about 500$ atm) but none except the multitable sngs i am able to play for several hours straight. So 6max cash was logical choice. When i grind now i am not browsing through internet anymore. Atm its 4 tables of zoom, but i will definitely have session where i will be 2-4 tabling normal tables to work on my game more there.

just had short 500 hand session to see how things are.
Session was pretty crazy. And me running insanely hot in hitting flops. Really pissed i only ended up half a buyin, bad calls costed me 3 buyins :S
Games are def nicely beatable. I just need to learn to stop spweing, lost 180bb pot and i played hand even fishier than fish that stacked me . I knew i was like never good there but i took 10 sec before i made the call Just stupid. The second i pressed call i was thinking in my head, why did u do this? U know its bad, actually really bad.
Need to work alot on to stop spewing, definitely big leak of mine which costs alot of moniez.

I would be playing nl25 6max if i would think i can beat it

Last time i was playing it i lost about 600€ there Was really happy about goodrakeback back then, but still after rakeback i was down 200$.

Now i will watch 1more short video on CR, and then before bed 1 show of friends
I will post them tomorrow morning, if i figure out how to post a HH from HM1, its saying some error stuff.

Ofc i am running sick hot now, when i am on NL10. And when i was grinding nl50 FR and nl25 i was running 30 buyins below in 100k hands and sick amount of setups on nl50 where my flop nuts was oversetted and such, u know the story.
But i shouldnt complain as good start, no matter on which limits is always appreciated

Took few days off, went to visit friends on saturday and party.
I am happy what i just did today. I was 2 tabling for some time and took the time to color code every fish i saw on a table. I checked stats of all players on every new hand i was dealt

I am still thinking about what kind of players color code. Probably fish that stacks off light is mandatory, bcs there can be different type of fish, some of them are just playing loose but dont stack off light at all.
Then there should be one for weak straighforward regs; the type that folds easily to scarecards and overcards?
And one should be for nits, from who i can steal blinds all the time? So that i dont need to look at stats for whole table, i just look at colors once i have big enough database, and make my decision faster.

Volume is seriously lacking. But on a good note: ater saturday i will start putting in nice volume. On monday i start swimming and later that week i start working out in a gym.
Tomorrow some rally starts here on the small island where i am, so i will probably look this for next 2 days and not play so much.
I will still take time and go over biggest hands from previous sessions.
Here is 10k hands i played so far. Obv not a sample at all, but lets keep the EV winrate so high
I would be posting some hands if i would have any idea how to do it properly, bcs it always says some error, and i really dont have any idea whats wrong with converter or my HH.

Angry at myself right now. Made one really really bad call with my nutflush on paired board on river where i got c/shoved. And it was so obvious i am behind. I actually pinpointed villains hand in my mind on river if he raises but i still made the call.
Sure its only 1/3 of buyin, but fact is i knew i am behind and literally never good here unless villain missclicked. And this 1/3 of buyin looks the same as if i dont want to made money.
After that i made one more bad play where overall i am behind vs his range in 3bet pot but i still made the call with AKo on K86hh board, where i dont beleive i am ahead vs villains reraising flop range. I was just lucky enough i was only 48% dog there, where overall i am good only 30%, to maybe 40% if i am really optimistic. Not sure what is best line when my cbet gets raised on such board in 3bet pot... I am oop, if i call and turn is blank whats my optimal line? I assume shipping flop is worse than folding flop? (bet turn into him?, check to him and when/if he bets ship over?, if 3rd flush card comes to give up? Guess its easiest to just fold flop, ofc its really exploitable, but i dont give that much credit to nl10 players)
Good thing is i stopped playing after that.
Time to start reading mental game of poker i guess.

so this are my 6max results of nl10 zoom

then here is today dissapointment on nl16 6max normal tables. I just missed everything, was put under alot of pressure where i had marginal hands, and just generally they were hitting also alot.
So ****ing dissapointed atm.

Even bigger dissapointment is that i cashouted recently, so i have now about 250$ in my bankroll account.
I am so sick of 6max i cant even look at it.

I will play zoom FR next days. Fell more at home in FR than 6max, as i used to play FR alot and in 6max i dont have that much experience.
I will go for sick volume, so keep tuned, will post daily updates, starting with tomorrow.
Goal is to have 2bb winrate over 100k hands.

Do you have holdem manager? You can just copy hands in the hand converter tool on the forum.

And good luck
