November kinda sucks so far. I'm -38.00 for the month. Time to increase volume. I'm playing my b+ game but in the 50 ish hours this month I'm on the wrong side of variance in pots bigger than 100 bbs.

Been a weird week, with some weird hands, weird games and just overall weirdness. I was in a game on tuesday that the players were absolutely terrible.....but on fire. Here is an example of 2 hands.

I cover table with 375. I'm not going to get to into specifics because thats really not important.

UTG limps, I make it 12 with KK in the cut off, super tight lady on button calls, blinds and UTG call. Flop is J64r, checks to me, I bet 35, Lady INSTA ships all in. Her range is AA, or JJ. I insta fold, she proudly turns up JJ. I laugh at the absurdity of the hand.

Two hands later. 2 field limpers, I raise to 15 with KK, she flats behind me. Everyone else folds. Flop is 744. I bet 25, she calls rather quickly. Turn 7. She bets out of turn 100. I laugh and fold, irritated but its the right play against her. She shows 44. Table applauds her and I slink in my chair cause I'm not sure how I'm not up 1k in this game.

Playing tonight, and then going down to the hard rock for saturday and sunday and hopefully can get about 20-25 hours in those days. I MIGHT play a tournament because they have a 150.00 buyin thats 150k guaranteed and has had 11 day 1s this week. So I'm sure it'll crush the guarantee.

Ocala poker's rake is brutal. If it wasn't so soft i would say 1/2 is DEF unbeatable. (Though it still might be).

2/5 is super juicy as well but there's only like 2 tables max running so that part sucks.

Yeah its super high, but the players are the worst in the state. 2/5 is great when it runs, which on the weekends there are 2-3 games going. Typically there is only one 1 game running on week days.

how much is the rake on 1/2?

The rake is capped at 5 and they pull 2 for a jackpot drop. Sometimes the rake is reduced with only 5 players but it has to be requested.

Ya but they also rake it pre. So 3b a guy to 40 and your trying to win $8 rather than his $15 open.

Pretty disappointed results wise this week. Took a shot in one of the best 2/5 games I've ever seen on Sunday and ran pretty bad. Oh well at least I'm getting more comfortable with 2/5 and I need to get here full time.

Super irritated right now. This guy comes to the table and proceeds to berate two fish at the table for how they played a hand he wasn't even involved in. They were really dumbfounded over this kids rhetoric. They were happily losing money with a smile on their face and within 15 minutes they both racked up and left. I want to berate this guy for scaring the fish away but if I bring it up the table will take notice.

In other news I had a bomb ass chicken ceaser salad with some of the best croutons I've ever had.

November went really poorly. My hourly was like 1.95 an hour for 150 hours. Super frustrating. I'm seriously considering getting a job and playing on the side just to build the roll up to about 15k and play 2/5. I think thats the better life decision as I can see myself getting burned out pretty quickly.

I lost 10 lbs in november and enjoy going to the gym 4-6 days a week. I definitely feel better overall and have begun cutting down the drinking since college football has slowed down a lot. (Go Gators).

I'll update this thread periodically but not as often. Good luck at the tables.
