I'm thinking of moving to Mexico as well soon, is it ok to go on a tourist visa as a poker player?

I study from the videos RIO and some CFP videos from some stable.

You get 6 month's visa on arrival and then you need to do a visa run to Belize, the USA, or Guatemala and need to be out of Mexico for at least 3 days. and then you can come back.
Yes as a poker player there is no problem to be here. Even make residency its easy and stay longer without a visa run Mexico is cool place you will enjoy

As I promised this is my girl blog about what happened back in Mexico my ex-girlfriends. It sucks I don't have all my pictures because most majority pictures are on an external hard drive and that hard drive I was using with Mackbook and now I have a windows pc and my windows pc doesn't open the external hard drive that I was using with mac so I will just post pictures what I have in phone and another hard drive external. So it will be like lite version of what I want to post.


Ara I met her on the Tinder app I spend with her for about a month and then I have no idea what happened but one day she called me and told me if she can come to my house and I said yes come and she answer she will be there in 20min. After 20 min. she didn't come and she never talked to me again even she didnt text me to say what happened and why she decided to not talk to me again and not to come it was definitely weird for me because I was scared something happened to her. She's fine I did see her new pictures on Instagram. I was so surprised because she even take me to her family which Mexican girls don't do a lot. Well it was fun with her




Viollete I met her on Bumble app I think. She is the nicest person what I met in my entire life and I really mean it but after some time with her it's started to be a boring relationship.
She was working as an Archeologist in Mayan Ruins so I get to see real Mayan Artifacts that they just found. It was definitely interesting and obviously, she didn't let me take any pictures.
Now she's working on some projects in Brazil.




Linda, I met her again in an App. She was so positive always smiling but also she have 4 cats. What I realize in Mexico many single girls have cats. One day I was cuddling with her cat and she see me then she take her cat and told her this guy is mine. I didn't know what to think but people are weird and until now I still think she really means it who knows what's in her head but it was so weird to talk to the cat like that but really it was real. Then one day she call me and told me she was going with a guy friend out and I said ok and then at night I call her and texted her and no reply. She always called me every night and texted me for a good night but that day she didn't. The next day she texted me and told me she fall asleep and obviously im that naive person who will believe it. So I break up with her and I had her Netflix and in my Netflix name she change my nick in netflix I MISS YOU that was cute but she shouldnt cheat on me oh well nothing what i can do.







Era I met her like as you know in the app. Shes yoga teacher and traveler. I did spend with her about 2 weeks she was beautiful but I really don't like fake boobs so I decide to stop after two weeks. I have one vlog with her that I will post on youtube but in the future when I will have time to make/cut my videos. I have many vlogs from Mexico and will post my channel in the future here.





Liz OMB like girls in Thailand said OH MY BUDDHA I loved this girl she's from Peru Lima but living in Mexico she was definitely one of the most beautiful girl in my life I'm sure many of you will agree she is so hot. I did spend with her about a month everything was great but this girl she liked expensive restaurants and one day she told me she wants to just travel the world and dance.
We did even start living in the same house because she did look for a room and my Mexican best friend she has one available so we start to live almost together. One day she ask me where I will go for my visa run I said Belize and she ask me a very weird question What you will do with your Macbook laptop when you will go for a visa run? I did answer I take it with me and then I obviously tag her red label. I was so sad about it and didn't know what to think but obviously poker reg cant be with a girl like that GD girl. Iris MY FAVORITA LATINA also most crazy like always met in the Bumble app. On the first date we went to the club to dance salsa I had a private lesson so I can dance a little. After a super cool night of dancing eating tacos and full of deep drunk conversation when we were leaving the club, she ask me if we go to my place or yours and that's how it should be. I said let's go to my place. So we went to my place and when I opened the door there was my ex drinking with my best friend beer and I will never forget her face when she see my new girl.
We join them at the table and my proud ex OMB her poker face was brilliant my best friend obviously knew what was going on and she love drama she was enjoying especially when these two girls my ex and new girl start to talk to each other how are you. My ex left after 5 min at the table and we went to bed. The next day when I saw my ex in the kitchen she just told me i could be more quiet last night. She has the room next to me.
Iris was definitely the most interesting person that I met in Mexico until now I miss our deep conversation. Always when we talk about something and I ask her something that I don't know she always comes up with an idea and starts thinking about the topic that we were talking. She told me she did study at 7 universities and she drop all of them and now shes study her last university to be an architect. I never met anybody who study 8th university and she was I think 32 only.
BUT BUT BUT she was crazy in every way probably a little bit psycho Latina. If I can give you advice guys don't tell angry Latina CALMATE that means calm down if you do you will get fire OMB the sex after that you must try it. We did spend together around 8 months together on and off. The last time I see her was two months since we didn't talk and she did invite me to my favorite beer and wanted to talk to me. After a while of talking, she did ask me if I will go to live with her and I did answer I have already a new girl and I see her sad and that change the mood of the night obviously. At that time I realize even she was a crazy loca Latina she do have lots of feelings for me and its a nice honest girl. I was definitely sad sad because we did have a good time together definitely drama life but it's part of them I did really enjoy it. She also has two cats I love their cats I miss them a lot same as her sometimes.

My new girl im with her couple of months with her. She's from a very poor family and she's down to earth girl. She doesn't speak English so communication is limited and thats bothering me. I know I live here I should speak Spanish I do but not for full conversation and I told her I don't have lots of time to study Spanish because I do play poker for many hours and then study poker and after that im mentally tired so please learn English. She did try and I even bought her a laptop 140usd to study online and I told her to quit her job to be home with me so she was home for many months but almost didn't learn any English so I decide to go to Guatemala alone and left her and told her to study without me and when she will learn she can come to me. So we will see if we will stay together or not. I actually miss her so don't know what to DO. Also, last few months I did live with her and her family I just wanted to go to live with them and experience how is to live with Mexican family. I did live with them for 3 months. It was a good experience but it was a challenge for me and realize how lucky im to be born in Europe.I never experienced living in the poor poor family where the mother sister of my girl sleep with her father and her daughter on one bed. My girl has a private room and sleeps there with her 4 dogs. This travel experience thought me be more humble and always help. SIEMPRE HUMBLE FOREVER. my girl pic

I started the beginning of the month with detox from coffee because I'm addicted to coffee so I took a break and first 3 days I had a headache for whole days but 4th day I was ok so the first 3 days of the month I did play only 12 hours together. Now it's ten days without coffee but my detox is over and I will start drinking again but not 4cups of coffee like before.

For the next 10 days, my volume will be probably lower because the internet in the house starting to lag for the last 3 days. AND that's why I decided to leave Guatemala because the internet is not stable properly. I want to see more of Guatemala and visit many places but what can I do I need to leave because of the internet. My visa will expire in 10 days so I have 10 days to decide where I will go. It always sucks to move but as a poker player Internet is the most important.
So I will not extend my visa and will go to another country. I don't know which country to go to.
If I should go back to Mexico and get 6 months visa or go to El Salvador which is much more expensive than Mexico or Guatemala or go to Nicaragua where everything is cheap.
I spoke with people in El Salvador and the internet is good there they have 5g in phones so maybe I will go there or I will just buy a ticket to Thailand and will go to Asia again. As I said I have 10 days to decide where to. Also maybe Argentina Buenos Aires could be a good option I really don't know. I just wish to stay for the long term somewhere and just focus on poker grinding.

Two days ago I went to buy a bus ticket to El Salvador and at the agency they told me when I will arrive in El Salvador my visa will expire in 1 day and then they explained to me my visa.
I have 30 days visa like all foreigners but this visa is for Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua together so in those 4 countries I can stay 90days total I didn't know that I thought when I will go to El Salvador I will get another 90 days and that's not happening and they told me if I want to reset my 90 days visa I need to go to Belize or Mexico.
So I decided to go back to Mexico. I'm not going back to the place where I have been before Merida because it's not a place where I want to live it was a boring city. So I decided to go to live in Playa Del Carmen. I think I rent a room hopefully everything will be ok there. Here is the Fb link for the rent.

Hopefully, I will not have a problem at the border because I was living illegally for many months in Mexico also in Czech groups they making problems for Czech people to enter Mexico many times and even other countries have problems entering Mexico and sometimes they give them visas for 8 days or 2 weeks for no reason. Everybody should get 6 months.

If I will have a problem like this but they will let me in and will get a few day's visa I don't know what I will do. Go to El Salvador what was my first plan or ask my friend to help me with residency? My best friend shes a lawyer for the government and can make residency for me for 20k Mxn but hopefully, I will get 6 months visa.

Leaving Friday tomorrow morning by bus to San Christobal from Antigua so It's my last day here in Antigua. A little bit stressed but hopefully everything will be ok and in two days I will be living in the Carribean.


POKER:
From the 11th until now I did play only 3 days and taken a break because I can't focus.
Played for 19 hours but did study for 15 hours.

Hopefully, the next post will be from Playa Del Carmen it will be a long journey just in buses around 35 hours. I don't fly because I have two backpacks and a monitor and another reason if they will let me not go to Mexico by land border I will still make it to Belize but If I will be in Cancun Airport and they will not let me in I will be ****ed.

I did say to my Mexican girlfriend I'm going to Medellin so she was so happy I don't go back to Thailand to see my ex She will be surprised but maybe also a little sad I don't go back to Merida where we did live before.

But for now, I want to focus on poker and live in a place where I like it and Yucatan is not the place.

Everything went to ****. I don't know where to start but the last few days were total ****. I went back to Mexico and on the border, they gave me a visa for 140 days even I should get a visa for 6 months so my visa will expire January 4th 2024. That was a first problem the second problem is instead of writing in my passport my visa expired on 4th January 2024 they wrote 2023 they made a mistake and then I went from the border to Chiapas Mexico and on the bus immigration check my passport in the bus and saw the error in my passport and they didn't know what to do with me if im illegal or what. After around 30min they just returned my passport and let me go. The bus was just waiting for me. From Chiapas Mexico, I went to Playa del Carmen where I rented a room, and the same think happened immigration stopped a bus and they checked me again and had the same problem. I told them it's not my fault they make a mistake and I told them I just arrived yesterday they were ok and understood and let me go but **** all the time stress.

I arrived in Playa del Carmen room was nice and the apartment was new and outside there was a big swimming pool I really liked it there. It was 15 min by bus to the beach. I told my girlfriend I'm back in Mexico and I did lie to her about I'm moving to Colombia. She came the same night to see me, It's just 5 hours by bus from the place where she lives.
The next day we went to the beach and explored the city. The beach was nice and I was surprised how many Russians were there even the place where I live is like I'm living in Russia.
I went to buy the desk and started to set up my grind station. AND then the problem started I did try to play poker and I couldn't because the internet was so slow. I get disconnected all the time. I called the owner of the apartment and told him the internet is bad. Before I moved there I asked him about the internet if is good and stable and he was obv its good. SO than he told me this apartment are new and the internet is not good there because it's a new area with new apartments and internet companies don't have good coverage there. I get angry with him and ask him why he didn't tell me that. He just told me he thought I needed internet for fb and stuff like that. I told him I can't stay because I needed to work. The thing was I did pay rent 4k and deposit 4k mxn and I knew It would be a problem with returning money. But he did refund me 6500mxn and I was there total of 5 days in that apartment. So I have to decide what to do and my girlfriend needs to go that day back home. So I decided just to go back with her to the city that i said I would never go back but didn't have any other option because I did spend already so much money and it would be hard to find a place in Playa del Carmen on short notice. So my girlfriend helped me pack the stuff and we went to the bus station to go back to Merida. I was so depressed because I spend so much money and I was on the way back to the city where I don't like it. One day I'm living in Carrbiean and one day in **** city.

So I arrived in Merida with my girl and went to live with her family again in their dirty house I was so unhappy but couldn't do anything. The first day when I arrived I just got sick and spent 6 days in bed. One day im just lying in bed watching YouTube and saw a small scorpion entering my room under the door I was even more angry Why I come back to Mexico. The family was just moving to another house so there was a mess everywhere and my girl needed to find a place also without her family because where they were moving they didn't want to have dogs and my girl have 4 small dogs.

So we went to look for an apartment or house and it took us 5 days to find an apartment. The apartment is new and nice It's a 1-bedroom apartment in second floor and we pay for that 164usd plus utilities so around 220usd a month.

After we moved in and her family moved different house the house is next to us I asked my girlfriend where is the cats what they had. They had 5 cats and she told me they left them in the old house. I got so angry because it's 4 casts 6 months old and Mama and I told my girlfriend why they didn't put them to adoption and she told me she didn't know they would let them be on the street. So I told her I would never speak with her family again and I hate them. She knows me I love animals.
I went back to the house for the cats and they were so hungry I brought them food and I was even more angry.
We did take them to our apartment but the next day everything smelled a lot so we brought them back the next day and bringing them food every day and they live on the street. We make pictures and post them to FB groups for adoption. My girl is sad I don't talk to her family but also she knows me I'm like that and I will never talk to them again.

In a new apartment, I had to buy a fridge and everything so I spent so much money and getting depressed again because living of my credit cards is not fun.

Now its a grind time. I went to Twitch and saw some guy Robin Poker and in his Twitch is he played 100 days straight and 10 hours a day so that is 1000 hours. I will copy that I'm going to work every day for 10 hours plus study. My hourly is 11 USD this year and if it continues like this I can make 11k USD in 100 days and pay all my credit cards and move up in stakes. I don't have any other option but just to grind because my financial situation is really bad and my bankroll is just 700usd.

September recap: Good month but I'm all over the place. Let me explain.

I did play 172 hours this month because my first session was on 8th of the September.
I played every day for 8h a day and 2 hours of study every day.
My study is all over the place I don't have a schedule or think about what I want to study. One day I studied 3bet pots and another C/R from bb and that's my problem why I'm not improving much because every time I study something else. So I decided to change it and study only one spot at a time, not every day different spot.
It is also because I have a guy who sells poker courses and videos from stables so every time I buy new courses and start studying something else.
I have many upswing cash courses many vids from cpf stables videos from run it once and that's my problem not focusing on one thing at a time.
This week I did try to change it and did study only BvB play. I think I will have to rewatch those videos and write more notes.

I did also deposit on poker888 to start to play with a hud but let me tell you the software is horrible sometimes I have to click 3 times to fold a hand and write a note to the player in the client is mission impossible you need to click on a specific spot to write a note to plyer so anoying so I will not play there and instead of 888 poker I will try to play Bodog poker and will start nl50 but only when on my site will not have 6 tables.

One of the best starts of the month that I ever had.
I play and study every day but I wish to play for more hours but is just so hot here and we don't have air conditioning and at 9 am morning it's already 32 Celsius and during the day it's around 35 degrees. Last year just June and July were hotter than it was below 30. Every day I'm thinking of buying an A/C but I will stay only 3 more months and then I will move to Asia or El Salvador that's my plan for now but anything can change because the world getting crazy with wars unfortunately.

I did play also five 11usd mtts and won one again for 500usd and the other 3 made min-cash. That's the second win of Mtt in 2 weeks.

STUDY:

Already make plans for my studies: I'm most concentrated in the morning and it's making me play better and prepare for the session to study before I go to grind. I studied one topic for more days and last week I did a study check-raise from the blinds from Upswing Poker from Uri. I did watch all the video pack and will rewatch it again in the future because I didn't understand everything. Obviously writing notes.

I applied for CFP stable and the deal was 50:50 split and one group coaching a week and every 40k hand one-on-one coaching.
I didn't take the deal because it seemed really little for 50% of my profit. Like really that's the worst deal that I ever heard of.

In the future, I will take a coach and after reading many blogs here and other stuff people recommend the coaches from the GTO Wizard site but for now I cant afford to pay 150usd or more for an hour of coaching and have many poker material from videos.

OCTOBER RECAP: This month was the best month. Last 10 days im shooting nl50 and doing very well.
NL50 there is definitely more regs than at NL25 sometimes all table are just with regs but I'm table selecting and playing just when there are good tables.
I started shooting NL50 with 30 BI and now at the end of the month, I have 40BI. It's possible I will stay there and with 60k czk (now have 40k czk bankroll) 2500usd I will start shooting NL100.

PLAYED HOURS: 199 hours. My goal was 200 hours but I just bubble ft of the main mtt so decided to not play the last hour and just take a rest.

STUDY HOURS: I really don't know how many hours I did study this month. My goal was 40 but it's around 20.

Last few days I didn't study at all and I have to say my game just changes when I don't study. I play less aggressive. So for the next month, I want to start studying again before every session.

I'm really happy with my new poker setup. I always wanted a big desk but it was impossible to buy a big desk for normal cost so I went to Home Depot and bought 3/4 of plywood and two 2x4 and built a desk by myself. I did make it 170x80cm and finally, I have a big dest. Also, I finally found a way to connect two monitors on my laptop. My laptop doesn't support two monitors but it was easy I just bought an adaptor for 50usd and plugged it into the PC and monitor and it's working perfectly. ALSO I bought an Ergonomic chair from Amazon HBADA CHAIR and I wrote them a review, basically, I said the chair is good but the headrest on the chair is just for smaller people. The support contacted me and offered me a new better chair for free and I said yes send it but they told me they couldn't send it to Mexico but says also but Amazon could so they refunded me the full cost of the chair to buy a new one. It was 228usd. So I have brand a new Ergo chair for free. That never happened to me before.

The new year didn't start well for me at all. I needed to move outside of Mexico or do a visa run. So my decision was to move to El Salvador but more I was thinking about moving to El Salvador and how much it will cost me plus I would be alone without my girlfriend I did change my decision and I just went to do a visa run to Belize with my girlfriend but she didn't know I will come back with her I want to surprise her. So we went together to Bacalar Mexico spend New Year and I told her in Bacalar I would go to Belize with her and come back with her to Mexico she was so happy. New Year I did spend on hostel food sick So we went to Belize we wanted to go back to Mexico and on the immigration, they told me they would let me go to Mexico just for 6 days. They didn't have a reason to do it everybody should get 6 months visa. When my girlfriend heard that she started crying but the lady on immigration was a real bitchhhh. So I was at Belize/Mexico border and didn't know what to do and I just decided to go with my previous plan to move to El Salvador without my girlfriend she just went back home I knew it would cost me a bankroll to move to El Salvador and that's exactly what happened.
In Belize, I spend 3 nights in a hostel in a small fishing village called Hopkins, an absolutely paradise so beautiful place with nice people. The only think I don't like about Belize is that everything is owned by Chinese people like I mean everything every restaurant every store every liquor store just really everything.

After Belize, I went to Guatemala obviously using only busses and boats. I did spend one day in Guatemala City in my friend's apartment. I love Capital Cities but Guatemala City is dangerous and really nothing there didn't like it and then I went to El Predobn to beach because my dream has always been to learn to surf and I had still a couple of hundred dollars in Guatemalan Quetzales from my previous stay in Guatemala so I decide to go to surfing for first time in my life. Definitely a good experience and I will continue learning how to surf here in my new country EL SALVADOR

The first few days I did spend on a hostel looking for an apartment or room to rent. In San Salvador, it's hard to find cheap accommodation. BUT I was lucky I met a girl on tandem application basically im meeting just people on that app its a language exchange app. And one of the girl whom i was talking she told me to stay the first days in her hospital in a hospital room but I didn't take it and went to the hostel because I found a nice hostel for 10usd a day. Then she takes me to dance with her friend and her friend offered me a room in the nice big house for 200usd a month plus a share of the electric bill. So at least at this point, I was lucky to find a nice place for a reasonable cost. In Mexico, I was paying around 160 USD a month for a 1br apartment. Outside of San Salvador, there are many options for unfurnished 2br houses for 200usd a month.

I have to say they just changed visa policy and gave me a visa for 6 months which in 2023 I would just get 3+3 months for C4 visa Nicaragua ,Guatemala,Honduras and Salvador but Salvador just changed that for 6 months which is super good for people who want to stay for a longer period and don't want to deal with visa extensions or visa runs.

Today I just finished buying things for my work it was hard to find Egro chair for normal cost so I have just a small chair for 200usd and bought the cheaper Xiaomi 24inch monitors two of them and a small desk.

This moving with that little vacation cost me my banroll and had to use my credit card again and I will need to start building my roll from the beginning so flustrating plus the Czech government to decide put a tax on poker and now I will need to pay 15% of my winning to taxes so always everything is harder.

This time I feel so flustrated maybe angry because I was ready to stay in Mexico with my girl and play nl50 from the new year but shhhiiit happened and I have only 450usd bankroll and minus 4500 usd on my credit card so it will be hard the next few months. I will be on a very tight budget.


The plan for El Salvador grind is to play 10h a day for 10 days and then go to the beach for two or 3 nights to learn surfing. I saw places in El Tunco for 12usd a night.

Before I went to El Salvador people told me it's expensive here but it's around the same as in Mexico and Guatemala. Chinese and Salvador food is around 5usd a meal and their Pupusa dishes one dollar for 3 Pupusas so here you can definitely live on a budget.

2024 Goal is to make it to NL100 with 100buy ins and pay all my debt on the credit card. Learn surfing and more Spanish language.

February didn't start well first two weeks I was break even and then I did finish 2nd in mtt for 550usd so that helps that time because I did double my bankroll with that mtt and then I get sick for 8 days and didnt play at all and even I didnt study because i had headache every day so want to stay out of screens. When i get finally to grind again I did finally start winning even in cash game and finished 2nd again in that same mtt for 500usd and my bankroll get to 1500 usd and I did start shooting again NL 50 but I dont feel confortable there with a small bankroll so Im playing NL50 just when is really good tables. I did start study again and I get recorded coachings from guy whos on youtube Play It Smart and I have to say those coachings helped me a lot with sizing tells and timming tells specially and after that coaching im paying more attentions on sizing tells specially and its working like a champ definitely good coachings from that guy.

I dont know if is in El Salvador is live cash game or tournaments in casinos and its hard to find something online so I decide to take a Sunday off and I will go to visit casinos here if they have live poker, they have around 4 casinos here so i will visit them all and then I saw online some poker room in hotel but didnt find it on google maps so I will try to do more research and find it if the poker room is open so in next blog I will let you know.

My most profit is from mtts at February I dont know exatly how much because im tracking cash and mtts together in iphone bankroll app but from March I will track it separately exatly how much Im winning from cash and mtts. I play around 20 mtts a month just have it on my second screen one tabling.

Will definitely continue study from the Play It Smart coachings for this month.

MARCH RECAP: WAAUU This month was the best month what I ever had since I start playing Cash Game. I started this month on NL20 tables and end up shooting NL100.
Im playing most of the time NL50 but when the tables are not good im playing NL20 just table selecting a lot. This month really opened my eyes how bad I play in some spots not thinking properly because I did play every day just one day off this month so far. I was pushing the hours to make best month moneywise but Im completely tired after playing 204 hours and studying 25 hours this month. I think I have some mental leak when sometimes spewing stack even I know Im beat and many times I catch my self in situations when I know I should jam the turn but I rather call to see safe river and thats cost me this month lots of money and future ev because than I think how stupid Im in some spots even I know how to play that particular spot. Next month I will really try to work on that and think more and take more time to make decisions and not just clicking buttons. I dont know why but I do play so quickly even before when I was two tabling Spins I did play 18 spins in one hour two tabling and my roommate playing same spins same stake and played 14 spins hourly because he was just thinking to much.

Definitely lots of leaks I have but the good think I know about them and Im still winning even with my leaks.

Soon I will really need to take a coach. If i find some with ok cost I will do it but still have plenty of material to study from.

I started shooting NL100 but honestly I dont feel comfortable there so I will play it just sometimes when table will be good good otherwise I will stick with NL50. I have now 100 buy ins for NL50 so hopefully April will be my best month and first months to grind only NL50 with ok bankroll Im bankroll nit

In April I want to study 50 hours I want to finish the Play It Smart coachings and start study from Doug Polk from his new HU video pack. Many times I do play HU and 3 handed and Im little lost deep stack so thats why this month I want study more than ever

Tomorrow it will be Sunday and I think last day of the month I will take a day off and go to beach to take surfing lesson
