Hello all,
I would like to start by saying, I truly enjoy playing poker, however the way I enjoy playing leads to very high variance, I almost always triple in 5 to 10 minutes and then 30 minutes later, I'm broke or have a pocket full and going home.
I am very tired of my moderate undisciplined skill not giving me solid result. I alternate playing PLO10 to PLO200. I make 80k a year and probably spend 5k on poker. I am creating this thread to aid keeping me accountable and tracking slow, day by day to week by week progress. 8 plan to grind PLO10 starting with $100 bankroll and plan to play 500 hands a day and have my first goal of grinding to $500. I am ok at 25 buying to take a shot at upping limit, but will go back down under 25 buying. I'm a be playing on BOL and appreciate any advice or motivation.
My initial focus will be TAG playing, my prime weakness are I play too many thin value hands and chase draws too hard in mediocre positions. I need to focus on fat value and monster draws when I'm competitive for nuts on draw w/ exception being good pot odds on hands like open ended straight flush draw.
I hope to add studying but believe if I can master these rules I will be more than on my way.
Any ideas of what I can add to keep interesting and beat monotony of grinding.

Good luck with your challenge!
Study is a good option and surrounding yourself with like minded players can help as well.
