Just some of the reasons I'd live there. Sure OP had the same thing's in mind when he went there.
Not sure if srs. I had few coworkers from Cambodia in the past, and they say it's a worst place on earth to live in. One of the poorest, corrupt and dirtiest holes on the planet. Maybe it's good for partying when you young and clueless, but to actually go there to live (buy a house/marry/have kids) no thanks jeff.

I think its great for somebody of age 20-30 who is playing for a living. You don't even have to play high to save some money. If you are a solid winner at 50nl or 100nl you can set aside a lot of money since everything is so cheap. I mean if you keep your cost of living to a minimum and grind a lot, you can easily add 30-40k a year to your bank without any troubles.

Shocks me to encounter such ignorance...

Actually many of us here have a far higher standard of living than most in the West, have a wide range of jobs, professional careers and businesses.
sure has its faults but most places do...

every place has its fault...some dirt is visible and some is not as visible (poverty vs wall street corruption)

political and economical debate building???? lol

Fun game to play on nights out in asia. Me and my mates invented it last year - 'Pragaling'. Pretty simple rules, everybody puts in $10 (or however much you agree on) and must take it in turns to get the cheapest possible price from a hooker. The order is drawn before the start and the other contestants choose which hooker you must try and pragle. Whoever gets the lowest price wins the money. Alternate version is when the person who gets the lowest price gets the hooker paid for by the others.

You even serious mate? Everyone with a basic education knows that Cambodia is among the poorest countries in the world with the highest level of poverty. You ever traveled outside your third world countries bubble?

I understand the patriotism or what not, but to claim the standard of living in Cambodia is decent is just silly. Everyone knows it's a world dumpster. Child prostitution lawl tell me more about how awesome the life there is.

You are correct in that those things happen in countries like this, but you are forgetting is that there is a large part that is fairly modernized. There is a huge difference between the poor and rich, but that doesn't mean there isn't rich. Being rich there easier than in fully developed countries

Thanks for the luck! We will try and get some pictures up but neither of us have a camera, Izzits iPhone 3gs was stolen and then my Galaxy broke and then stolen....

Yeah we have tried other sites but we just love stars so much.... The software, the support, 10 min cashouts.... Can always get tables no matter what time of day.... But we are looking into it

Maybe there are pictures to come of the house, most likely taken from laptop, got some stuff to do now so maybe later... Later I'll find a picture of our old setup in England when we turned $50 each into enough to live here ...

Thanks everyone!
Whoa whoa whoa, ten minute cashouts? Is this true or just an exaggeration? Me being from the US can't comprehend cashing out and ten minutes later it's in your account.

I cash out to skrill and it is there usually instantly from stars or tilt.

I also have a skrill mastercard so I can access said funds just as fast. £1.80 charge for atm and free if you use chip and pin.

haha I like this game, my buddy offered to pay for my hookers when he got drunk a couple times, his only requirements were if it was less than 1k baht and she was an 8, one time I found a 7 and paid the 500 baht myself tho

gl dudes, I've been to that town. Seems like a cool place to live. IMO go check out Don Det in southern Laos if you want to get away from poker for a bit. Its even cheaper than Shianookville (sp is way off I know...).

So awesome and inspiring thread guys! Even made me create an account on the forums, finally!

I'm studying business administration and it pretty much sucks. I really need to do something exciting and different before I get old and boring. Living of poker in Cambodia may just be it. I wish you guys all luck and i hope that you will succeed!

Also, hookers are great! But you have to excuse Knurt, as he (just as I) lives in feminist hell Sweden. Buying hookers here is considered worse than being a nazi in modern day Germany.

We watch a couple videos from time to time, and discuss some tricky spots with eachother.... Well I'll take some shots at 25NL again when I get 30 BI, make it my main stake at 40 BI. Not sure what BRM Izzit is using atm..

Lol does sound like fun.. Pretty degrading tho, we know most the hookers from the beach now so not sure if this would work for us

Yeah, same as what I use... Although last 5-10 cashouts have taken like 6-8 hours :P

Haha although me and Izzit have slept with quite a few hookers, neither of us have ever had to pay or even been asked to... I've been asked twice before I left with the girl "how much you pay?" and both times I was like "oh sorry I don't have much money, bla bla" (I only ever take around $10 on a night out with me) and they both stayed with me anyway, more than once.... Got a bit of grief about this in the Cambodia thread about how we are "robbing" these girls ...

---

Pretty frustrating day, lost a big AA vs KK near the end

LOL.

Class.

I have Swedish friends here in Thailand, that go on about this.

1 guy took his wife back to visit his family back home in Sweden.

They went out for the night, and they had a gang of Swedish feminists saying
"You don't have to cook his dinner,do his ironing, wash his dirty sock's etc,you have rights here in Sweden!!"

*** off feminists tbh.

Uk will go this way, bunch of pussies.

Sorry to hijack the thread.

Carry on shagging hookers lads, enjoy yourselves.
Alot of these guys are just jealous

Cambodia maybe piss poor and have some major problems like child prostitution and corruption (and many other things) but that doesn't make it the worst place in the world to live or whatever was said earlier or even anywhere near it. Cambodian people are some of the friendliest in the world, violence is low as after pol pot no one wants to cause trouble unnecessarily, there are some beautiful places and you can have a lot of fun if you are open minded and not a stuck up ****.

Im pretty sure somewhere like Sierra Leone would be one of the worst places to live as you wouldst even live very long most likely. How about North Korea.

I live in San Diego, which I think most would say is hardly third world. I've also did a fair bit of traveling, including Cambodia. To say a country is the world's dumpster makes you sound ignorant especially because it seems like you haven't been there.

This is even a serious problem or at least will cause serious problems in the future cause due to incorrect socials conditioning in fact its like many men become more female (mindset-wise) and many women become more male...

Real smart feminists (not talking bout the braindead piece of shirt shouting with their loud lesbian mouthes) btw. have already veryl ong realize those kind of problems....
