BR Management Question BR Management Question

OK, I know that everyone has their own theory on BR management. And everyone has a set amount of buy ins they want in order to move up/down in limits, but my question is this:

If you have a "sliding scale" of BR management, couldn't you be pretty aggressive and still not go busto?

Example, let's say you have a limit of 5 to 10 buy ins. You'll still never go broke because once you get down below 5 buy ins for a certain limit, you just move down. And this way, if you're having a good week/month, whatever, it would allow you to move up quicker.

This idea must be flawed or it more people would use it. So what am I missing??

I think the main point I was trying to get at was that with so many different stakes available online, you could play with a smaller bankroll as long as your willing to move down when you're losing.

Is this not a valid point or am I ******ed?? And again, what the hell is a "level"??

re:Q, you are in the wrong forum, but repost it here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/32...ers-questions/ and the trolls will probably go away. The sticky on top is fine for this.

Here is the harsh but trueful answer. If you are asking this question , you probably are a losing player. Maybe not who knows. Having said that, set your # of buy INS to an amount you can lose and still want to play and try to improve.

the best thing to do is get your entire bankroll and put it on one table.thats what all winning players do,and if they bust there roll thats just bcos of bad luck, just deposit more and youl get there.try it and let us know how you get on,ul thank me

i too use this approach on most days, but there are some days where i feel like just taking it all and putting it on black feels right also.
Which one seems more optimal to you guys?
