Hello, Firstly I'd like to apologise for my not so good English. It's not my 1st language.

About me:
About 3 years ago I became interested in online poker. I got $50 free bankroll on Party and I had big dreams but very little skill or knowledge about NL Holdem so I lost it pretty quickly. I realized that I have to study the game in order to win. I've read some strategy articles and put $10 on pokerstars and with this I built my bankroll. I didn't play a lot (average probably 1 hour a day), I didn't like to study the game and for a long time I was pretty much just a recreational player making little or no profit on NL2-5.
Later my game improved and I was playing up to NL30 throughout of my “carreer” and making pretty decent profit on NL10-20.
Never played limits above micros even though I believe I have the skill to play much higher stakes. My problem was a pretty little volume and the fact that I was using my bankroll too much, cashing out frequently and not caring about keeping a safe br. I was overconfident and thought that I can always easily make money but unfortunelly there’s variance so this way I got stuck at NL5-10 for the past 2 years. I played mostly for rb and I was cashing out all my profits.
As summer break starts now I have a chance to try to turn pro and reach stakes as high as possible. I don't want to just move out of micros or get to a limit that would give me income to live independently. My goal is baller life xD All I need is big volume and motivation. I’m going to put in work like never before and if Poker Gods will be on my side I will reach my goals.

Main goals:
Get mucho dinero playing poker
Live the baller life

Short term goals:
Play 15k hands a week
Read uNL forum everyday
Do a review after every session, post hands that are difficult for me on forum
Learn to control anger
From time to time study and play other variants of poker

I’m currently playing 6max NL10 on ipoker. I play speed tables as well as regular ones. So far this month I played 21k hands (which is pretty good considering I had exams). Winrate -1.25.
My serious career starts today

I will post session results, intersting hands and my thoughts daily.

CONTEST:
First 2 posters that will wish me good luck itt will get 10k (prizes will be send as soon as I start ballin of course).

Day 1

Started playing in the evenig. I was mixing speed tables with regular ones. After an hour of session I had to make a break as I noticed that I had doubts about some of my decisions. Then I continued the session for more than an hour. Overall I think I dind't play bad but I was far from my A game, made some obvious mistakes.

      Day 2

I felt pretty bad today. I know how mood affects my game but it can't be an excuse for me not to play. I need to learn to play good poker no matter how ****ty I feel.
I played 2 sessions today, started playing in early hours so there's was little traffic, and not many soft tables. Played mix of speed and reg tables. I'm not happy with the way I played. I can only be glad that at least I didn't lose too much $. Played 2nd session in the evening. I was getting frustrated and couldn't concentrate on tables so I closed all reg ones and continued playing only speed on 4 tables even though traffic there wasn't so good. I gotta admit I played like a mouthbreather for most of the time.

        Day 3

I decided to play in the late night/early morning. There was almost no traffic so I opened speed tables of stakes from NL5 to NL20. I was exhausted and I'm sure I wasn't able to play any good poker but somehow got very lucky... It seems like Poker Gods really want me to reach my goals.
Later I played some more and decided to start slowly with NL20, opened 4 reg tables. As I was getting wrecked playing my normal loose style so I had to adjust and play very tight ABC poker. I think I will need some time to gain confidence with this level and get to know the playerpool before I can play more aggro.
Rest of the day was wasted in a very bad way That's why number of hands played is so laughable. I'm truly my worst enemy

With the way things are going I'm closer to living the life of a broke degen and junkie than a baller...
I played some hands on speed poker nl10 and nl20 today. I think I played well if I ignore the few dumb calls and bad 3bets I made without thinking.

I almost feel a rollie on my wrist
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ossSWj17Jnk

Today I learned that everything everything happens for a reason. You just need to be patient and let the universe do it's job. That's all.
During last week, especially last 3 days I've been degening my poker bankroll on online casino slots. I don't normally love to gamble but it's a fun activity when on amphetamine. I wasn't close to losing whole br but for a uNL grinder $200 is a lot. I felt so bad, about my actions that I decided to change my life and I did myself a schedule. Waking up is a beach so I didn't follow my schedule as planed but I didn't waste this day for sure.
Started my first session today in the afternoon. Played Speed poker NL10 and NL20. I played really well, did some stupid stuff here and there but overall it was a good session and it ended very well with a nice looking profit.
Decided to take a 30 minute break. I still felt bad about losing a part of my br on slots so I couldn't stop myself from depositing $20 to casino. I was telling myself that it's just for fun and I know I'm likely to lose but it's my money if I want to spend it in -EV ways, I gotta do what I want especially after such a nice poker session. I played 1 video slot I don't even remember how long but I was winning big. I ony realied how much I won when I changed coins to money display of my funds. I got almost 2k. It's not life changing money for me but it's what I really needed now. I guess I'm not a real degen because I cashed it all out instead of gambling more. I will now pay debts to my br and spent rest of the money investing in myself. I'm not gonna gamble with it or use it to buy drugs. Everything happens for a reason - it's real. If I didn't spent the last few days the way I did I wouldn't feel the urge to play slots today and I could only dream of getting 2k.
My second session start in the evening. 4x 20NL speed tables. I was being overly aggressive especially postflop trying 3 barreling without a good reason. I was setting random traps and experimanting with different plays. I wasn't playing well but still made some money.
Overall today's volume is not good, I know I have to play more. I'm gonna continue wrting schedules for everyday. At least it keeps me a lil bit more disciplined and productive.

        Flop: ($10.30) J Q 6 (2 players)
CO bets $5.60, Hero calls $5.60

Not the worst flop. We're ip and villain will prettty much always make dumb cb that we can call and get even more value on later streets. We have an overcard and a gutshot straight draw, many hands help us. And the probability of villain having a good hand is close to zero so we beat his range with our Ace high.

        Turn: ($21.50) 7 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $8.60, CO calls $8.60

Turn brings nothing, villain checks and know all you gotta do is bet the right amount to get him to call with worse hands, draws and fold most of his medium strenght hands.

Villain crying shove otr is mostly air. He doesn't know what to do at this point so he tries to bluff us out as he thinks that we have weak hand that's gonna fold but we can call him with pretty much anything and win the pot most of the time. Getting the right card otr helps a lot too

Be realistic: Plan for a miracle
        ― Osho

I'm happy with my volume today. Started 1st session with reg tables of NL20, trying to get 6 tables was hard so I wasn't even trying to do any table selection. Although I promised myself to tighten up I ended this session with 35/28 stats. I had to end it ater 421 hands because I was playing like a monkey and didn't want to lose more.
Later played my 2nd session. Decided to play only speed poker and mixed nl10 and nl20 tables. I was doing even more stupid plays and played overy aggressive. After a short break I continued but closed nl20 tables and 4 tabled nl10. I was still playing like a ******ed monkey. I didn't even have as much luck as yesterday and got my share of bad beats and coolers.
I checked and so far I have played only 10245 hands, tomorrow is the 7th day since I started this blog so I'm not going to get to 15k hands in a week
I'm going to set myself more specific short term goals tomorrow.

It is better to travel well than to arrive.
          Buddha

I have mixed feelings about the day. I was more productive than I was in the last couple of days. I began reading Haseeb's book, spent some time analying my hands and posted the difficult ones on uNL forum. I did alright volume. What bothers me is that I played really, really bad. It seems like nl20 transforms me into a spewing monkey. First session: 4 tables of speed nl20, was playing horribly and after ~800 hands I had enough of this and quit. Second session after a 2h break I decide to open 4 tables of nl20 and 2 of nl10 (all speed poker). Played badly, couldn't concentrate on so much action so I closed nl10 tables and continued with 4 nl20. I can only laugh at some of my plays. But it's sad because before making decision I usually knew it's wrong but I felt the urge to make some super epic call or bluff and the urge was often stronger than my rational thinking.
This hand for example: I know baluga theorem, villain wasn't a spewtard, yet I managed to convice myself that he is going to mostly play bluffs this way...
          BB: $19.10 (95.5 bb)

          SB: $37.11 (185.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A A
UTG folds, MP calls $0.20, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.80, SB calls $0.70, 2 folds

          Flop: ($2) Q 9 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.80, SB calls $1.80

          River: ($21.20) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $13.20, Hero calls $12.98

I still wanted to play so I took a quick break and decided to play 3 x nl10 and 1 nl20. I was playing ok on nl10 tables and made a nice profit but I was still sucking at nl20.

Well, after hearing ten thousand explanations, a fool is no wiser. But an intelligent man needs only two thousand five hundred.
          Brahma

Time to face the fact that I'm not ready to play nl20. I need to slow down for a while. I need to give me body and mind some rest. So I won't play tomorrow, instead I will try to sleep well, eat well and study the game.
Volume is the most important thing but you can't get good volume while being a human wreck. I'm far from giving up tho, better dead than broke
I played 2 sessions today. Both 4 tabling nl 20 speed poker. The first one was full of fancy and foolish plays. 2nd one was actually better although I lost a lot, I played more solid poker and avoided a lot of ******ed creativity.

We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right.
          Nelson Mandela

No pokers were played this day and no poker study occured. But I did something more fun Look how degen one can get:
Last night I deposited some money on 888casino and wanted to have some fun with it. I didn't plan to deposit again but I needed to win it all back from them

          Spoiler:
And I did win it all back! Somehow I still didn't reverse the withdrawal. I guess I'm not so degen after all

Didn't get much sleep at night. Woke up, snorted speed for breakfest and started playing online casinos. Mostly slots and I gotta say that they're very rigged because I wasn't able to win anything anywhere and I tried with different casinos as shown below

I don't feel bad about this. Happened what was meant to hapen and there's so much to learn from this experience. I have no will to gamble at this moment but I know I will still be doing this. I'm not delluding myself that I will stop doing drugs or gambling. I'm not going to become an ascete or limit my freedom to do what I want to do. And I believe it's the right approach.

Kids learn from my mistakes if you want to be succesfull: stay away from drugs, don't gamble but only play poker as it's pure math and +EV

Gonna go hard on nl10 and nl20 tomorrow. Let's get closer to baller life

          Mahatma Gandhi

Yay, finally made a nice volume today And I believe I played pretty well. I didn't want to play any nl20 today because it makes me go nuts. I dunno if it's because the opponents are so much better than in nl10 or I'm just not confident enough to play good poker at this level. I'll try to slowly go back to nl20 because I'm fully rolled for it and if I can make money at nl10 then why wouldn't my skills allow me to do the same a level higher? Adding one table of nl20 a day seems like a good idea.
Today I played 6 speed poker tables, mixed nl10 with nl5 because nl10 didn't have enough traffic to make a good volume.

          Day 12

In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision.
          Dalai Lama

I played over 3500 hands so I'm content with today's volume. I didn't play bad, even tho the results may seem bad For my first session I wanted to play nl5-nl10 speed + few regular tables of nl20. Ended up playing 6 nl5 speed tables (nl10 wasn't even running at that time) and 3 reg tables of nl20. It was hard for me to concentrate on so much action, I was timing out, misclicking or just spazzing pretty frequently on nl5 tables. Managed to play solid on nl20.
2nd session: only 6 regular nl20 tables. Generally I see myself making progress and accustoming to this level. My problems are still playing too loose-aggro, not realizing that the average player is a nit who's playing tighter than it seems, also I feel like I imagine player's ranges as way too wide. My stats were 36/25, 11 3b. I guess I need to play tighter.

          Results:

          Session 1:
          - hands: 2314
          - profit: -46.68
          Session 2:
          - hands: 1352
          - profit: -39.11

          Overall:

My goal for tomorrow is to spend some time studying the game, even if it means less volume.

          Day 13

We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.
          Martin Luther King, Jr.

It feels so bad to be broke Today I went to the mall and found a nice pair of Diesel jeans and a Hilfiger's belt I wanted to buy but I felt like they were too expansive for me (especially considering how much money I've been losing/blowing lately), I had enough money in my pocket but I felt like it would be wrong to buy them. Ended up not buying any new clothes, went back home and started crying
          Spoiler:
I didn't really cry of course but I was feeling bad for real, if anything it gave me motivation to study/play poker more

I decided to buy some good karma so I donated $25 to Unicef to help African children. I think it is a +ev decision in the long run
I learnt some very deep concepts from Haseeb Qureshi's book and I also read a few pages of Zen and The Art of Poker.
Played only one session today on reg tables of nl20, started with 6 tables but later closed 2 to concentrate better on the games. Most of the time I think I played very well but unfortunately there were moments when made terrible mistakes.
For example this hand: This player was bullying me hard so I was trying to defend myself, When I was 4betting him he pretty much always 5betted or shoved so I thought that I have to at some point fight back and shove lightly, Ax is not bad for this purpose so at first I thought I made the right decision only was unlucky because this time he got a good hand. Later I realized that I made a big mistake preflop by opening with such hand. I generally think that opening any Ax from CO is good + SB was a fish so it's even more +ev. What I didn't take into account is the fact that BTN was a very aggro player and I should expect to get a lot of 3bets from him. It should have stopped me from oppening Ax in this situation but I didn't pay enough attention and oppened automaticaly. Instead of folding to his 3b as I didn't have neither a hand nor position I decided to fight back with my bully and got what I deserved.
          MP: $20 (100 bb)
          Hero (CO): $20 (100 bb)
          BTN: $43.29 (216.5 bb)
          SB: $39.52 (197.6 bb)
          BB: $30.37 (151.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4 A
MP folds, Hero raises to $0.60, BTN raises to $1.80, 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.80, BTN raises to $7.60, Hero raises to $20 and is all-in, BTN calls $12.40

          Flop: ($40.30) 4 J 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
          Turn: ($40.30) 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
          River: ($40.30) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

          Spoiler:
          Results: $40.30 pot ($2.01 rake)
          Final Board: 4 J 5 5 2
Hero mucked 4 A and lost (-$20 net)
          BTN showed Q Q and won $38.29 ($18.29 net)

It all started with a bad pf open raise. In order to avoid making mistakes like this I need to change a lot about my game, starting with oppening ranges.
I stopped playing after losing a stack KQ vs AK in 3bet pot. This player who was squeezing from blinds had small pf 3b stats and I knew his range beats my hand and flatting is going to be a bad decision but I had some history with him and I believed I can easily outplay him postflop so I called even tho I knew it was wrong from the begininng. Flop is K high and he bets large I knew I'm up against AA, AK or KK but I called 3 streets I guess mostly out of curiosity and because I wanted to win a stack so much that I made -ev decisions just because there's a little hope of winning and I wanted to gamble...

In order to be a winning player at reg tables of nl20 I need to fundamentally change my game. So I have to play max. 4 tables for now and concentrate, think about every single detail of my game. This would mean very little volume and very little money until I make changes and trust my game enough to grind. If I go back to nl10 speed tables I can make big volume and some money that my br would appraciate after losing so much at nl20.
So I think that I will play 2 different sessions a day. 1st very short at 4 tables of nl20, during which I will concentrate on finding the optimal style for this level and avoid mistakes. 2nd session I will play for big volume 6 tabling speed poker nl5-nl10.

Much silence and a good disposition, there are no two works better than those.
          Prophet Muhammad

I need to get off drugs for a atleast a week. Today was the best moment to do this but I still had some speed. I wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing it if I had it. Flushing it all down was not an option as I like this stuff too much. So I decided to empty out the bag and snort it all in the morning. In the bag it looked like a little amount but when I emptied the bag out I got a bit scared because it was a lot more than I thought. Snorted it all in like 5 minutes. Only negative effects were shaking, pain in the chest and later high blood pressure and a headache caused by it. None of those experiences were new to me. And I'm fine now So I made a good decision and I'm now living a drug free life Finally I will eat regular and tasty meals, sleep well at night and I will not experience any bad side effects of stimulant's abuse. I'm sure my poker game will improve as well. Although my volume will most probably be lower.
Apart from recovering from drug abuse I also had some non poker related stuff to deal with. So I had very little time to play and I'm proud of myself that I played at least a short session today because I could have made up many excuses to not play at all. I played 4 reg tables of nl20, I think I didn't make any significant mistakes.

My goals for the past week were:

          - Watch at least one video - failed
          - Read uNL forum daily - accomplished
          - Review every session - accomplished

I spent most of the day sleeping. I had no motivation to play but at the end of the day felt like I have to play at least a quick session. So I opened a bottle of beer for a little motivation and played 6 tables of reg nl20 until the bottle was empty. I played as straight forward as possible.
