as for masstabling i will have to see. first of all i need to get used to table selecting better. my crappy last session was once again me just staying at tables and not giving a fcuk. i need to start colorcoding a LOT more and acting accordingly which i will be focussing a lot more on this month. if i manage to do so while playing 24 tables and still checking the lobby for juicy tables then YES 24 tbls will be my dicsipline, if not i ll drop to like 16-20

this was yesterday against a 32/3 limpcalling fish over 150 hands. by the river i had him squarely on a Qx type hand. and since he is passive i really expected him to spashove his twopair type hands otr leaving him with QJ KQ AQ Q8 Q9 mainly and the unlikely QT Q7 of which i can pretty much exclude Q7 as he views this as the nuts.. a flush is easily excluded as he shoves that himself 97.8% of the time. while writing this i realie that this was just unlucky but meh i wrote it so might as well post it

villain was a nitreg who raised utg then caled a hefty squeeze from the blinds and then calls a decent sized bet on that flop. imo his range for this is TT, JJ, QQ, (KK) and AA. i think TT folds on the turn a lot. QQ may even fold sometimes. isnt this therfore a checkfolding spot?

disclaimer: i am going to go travelling tomorrow until thursday i believe. i may or may not spend the daytime playing this remains to be seen. however i really need to step up my volume this month as i believe i have settled nicely at nl10. therefore i will fut in crazy sick volume from the 17th till the end of february.

(i have read that some ppl get about 0.06 VPP per hand so the total hands could be lower)

so i think out of those 16 days that i could potentially play i will aim to play on 12 total, playing a total of 154k hands to reach my initial goal of 200k hands this month and platinum. what this will likely come down to is another sicko week cuz i am lazy atm haha

alright now that i am back and apaprently still play well i have to get some volume in this month. i was actually hoping to arrive at nl25 at the start of march but despite my increased winrate this month i just havent got any decent volume in to achieve that. i really dont know if i should go for 12 crazy volume days to get X hands in but play my b-game more often than neccesary or if i should go for some other goal.

to explain: during my 100k week i averaged 4ptbb/100 i think. this month that number is 5.8ptbb/100 despite me having moved up.

any suggestions guys?

some numbers:

2.251 VPPs this month
1300ish hands per hour since i switched to regspeed tables only and table select all day
between 0.05 and 0.06 VPP/hand at NL10

given these numbers i think it would be most +EV to go for 100k hands total till the end of the month and focus all the time instead of roboting all the time. this would be close to enough to reach platinum and i think the bottom line would be best that way...
i ll think about it and start the big grind tomorrow.

its not really a concious drop down, much more a lack of great tables or me not willing to check the lobby despite closing down bad tables.

i have been averaging 19 tbls at nl10 so far which is very easy

Yeah you're far better off playing focused rather than just trying to get in as many hands as possible. The next limit isn't going anywhere man

yeah upon rethinking i think its best to not solely focus on volume if that would compromise some winnings so i think going for about 8k hands a day while still fitting in gym every second day, eating lots and not fkking up my sleeping schelule is the best idea. so starting tomorrow my daily goals will be:

[ ] at least 7.5k hands
[ ] at least 750 VPPs (preferably more as to avoid a need for a massive last days as in the 100k challenge last month)
[ ] post at least 3 hands daily and discuss thoroughly (not only beats or brags or such)

Yeah it seems the limit where **** gets real. Probably because you're starting to play for non insignifcant amounts of money. Pretty similar for me too, hit some **** variance and when you compare it to 10nl you've lost a lot.
