its just a trial this month to see how it goes plaiyng on stars.com only. tbh its incredibly refreshing and i have so much more time to make better decisions. despite the probly lower roi i think its worht it for me. to each their own i guess

ABI is $13 this month. rly nitted it up wrt buyins and i think i havent played more than 5 $55s. i decided to drop the upper end of my buyins and focus on both playing stars only and crushing the games before moving up and dropping the lower tier step by step. i never really did that and as a result played a pretty boring weak game that wasnt good at all looking back. i ve worked pretty hard this month on many aspects of my game so i def think it is paying off

In the meantime.... I noticed on page 1 you start the challenge as a Cash game player, but as I've followed the challenge last few weeks I see you now play mtt's a lot and have played some cash hands occasionally

What is the split between cash and Mtt? What made you switch to mtt's?

Were'nt you playing with an ABI of 40+ a few weeks ago? Which mtt's did you cut out and which did you add?

i play around 98% MTTs these days with the 2% being cash when action in MTTs is dead (4-7am) or just to practice a little deeper stacked play.

what made me switch was some sick rungoot back in march when i was rly struggling to get big hours into my cash sessions. i decided to onetable the big $5.50 on the side of my tables believing that as long as i d not bust i d have my cash session going. ended up binking 3rd place in what was literally the first session in this Malta apartment. #insta-addiction ensued
I was and upon reviewing i just came to the conclusion that i wasnt yet quite ready to play that high. i have identified a bunch of things in my game that needed work and with me being risk averse by nature i d rather practice and implement them playing a lower variance schedule where experimenting and failing isnt gonna hurt my bottom line much. been working out decently and i m getting ready to add back the mtts i ve been avoiding this month ($55fo /$54KO / 109fo / hot75/ 221r1a/ 11 action hour) and drop all the smaller stuff i have been plaiyng instead (5hyper, 1-2rebuy reg / turbos, 5fo etc)
tbh there are tons of regs that would greatly benefit from dickswinging less and dropping down and working on their game but have too big egos to accept that and end up getting a mediocre ROI as a result. i dont want to be that guy so i have no problem plaiyng micros for a bit glgl bro

Who cares about the ABI. If you can swing 10k a month with tiny downswings then **** it lol.
