updates? do you still coach or did you stop after getting called out on it? How's the staking going?

I quit coaching for the time being only cuz it was so time consuming. Not sure what being calls out on it means? Is it negative? Of so it rly doesn't matter cuz I was always open about it and had positive results and feedback from my students. Staking is going well tho

I myself have been on a ridiculous downer ($7-8k) since June and will take a few weeks mostly off to relax with the gf and get my mindset right and then return to making and sticking with good goals. I ve kinda screwed up in the goal setting department and played all kinda of formats with no real focus or outlook. Will have a good think about what format makes the most sense for me long term and then get to grinding up to midstakes as my thread title aptly suggests

constantly taking weeks at a time off and yet still never makes it over to see his friends down the way..

Dude, grind cash, play tournies on side as a means of getting out of the stereotype (+ youre obv profitable at both) and focus on moving up.. Dont think you can have a clear direction on where youre going if youre playing a different format every 3 months..

turns out updating threads in PGnC when aidsing isnt fun which is why i havent updated since july started pretty much. ran like pure aids during most of july and took a lot of breaks and days off, got an inner ear infection and in general felt pretty meh about a lot of things. didnt work out much didnt sleep well, didnt cook as much/well as i used/woulda liked to etc. then gf came around on july 24th for 3 weeks and on the very first night out i had my iPhone stolen then obv next day i spew another 100+ euros away by double booking a flight to italy in october so got off to a pretty meh start. ear hadnt gone away yet and we both caught a cold after the first weekend so basically we both ran like aids throughout most of july.

Did manage to go to a pretty awesome show by calvin harris who i now actually quite like (hadnt known the guy pre show lol)

then basically spent the following two weeks until yesterday chilling on beaches and relaxing cuz it was tooooo hotttt to do anything else. only played about 4 sessions during the entire 3 weks gf was here, mainly 6m zoom 100nl but also an mtt sesh or two and played/ran tons better than i had since mid june which felt nice. obv no volum at all but hey its summer gotta enjoy life a little right?

gf left yesterday and i basically snap came out of the hole i had fallen into since june by running hotter than i rly ever ran. think i had 33% ITM and 4 final tables in a pretty short sesh. variance deos indeed go both ways but obv feels amazing to get out of that lol2month downer.

generally the last 2 weeks have been really good poker results wise. a bunch of the guys i ve been staking decided to turn on their boomswitches at the same time which was fun and obv running hot myself is icing on the cake

oh and i got a tattoo a few days ago have been looking to get one since 2008 but never got around to it but finally got one and love it! once its healed i ll ship a pic of it. designed it myself (and also designed the one my gf got on the same day) and found an awesome artist who needled them perfectly (not a word i think? )

so yea since no phone there are no pics of the last 6 weeks as i m too jewish to buy a new one and gf doesnt have a cam.

one of the highlights from my most recent sessions- I misclickregged a 15 18man when i wanted to reg 180s and obv FTd it with two PGC legends and went on to bink it vs chilin HU. its now 1:1 in HUs between chilin and me so should be fun next time for bragging rights

What do you imagine your ROI is in the 109d 15k? Like there is lot more softer tournaments than that, maybe not the best schedule while downswinging (or maybe even the reason for downswing)

i posted the graph since last update to be more precise. i think the last graph posted at the end of june already had a 2-3k downer in it.


thats since i started travelling after june 7th. obv still working on it but still feels good to get some heat after that long a dry spell

i think i should have a firm 20% ish ROI in this field if not more. i do gameselect pretty hard whenever i play and i play across three sites. theres very few if any big buyin MTTs around the time i regged yesterday that are higher EV to play than this. the reason i m downswinging is that i ve been bubbling a ridiculous amount of donkaments. u try bubbling and ftbubbling and running bad at the fts u make at the rate i have been and tell me how you go not trying to come across harsh but that type of advice you can please keep to yourself bro

Did not mean to sound douchy or stuff, have just always thought that the small guaranteed tourneys that have a high buyin are filled with good regs and few fishes.
