********APRIL SUMMARY*********
April was pretty meh tbh from a poker perspective but other than that april was actually a great month. I ll grade myself an A for effort for sure:
-120 hours in 3 weeks of play
-15 hrs of coaching
-3 workouts every week
-25 hours of strategy
-awesome holiday

from a poker perspective however i m pretty unhappy with what i achieved this month. of the 120 hours i played only 32 came from cash and i think i didnt play great for most of that mainly for mental game reasons. that prompted e to reread the mental game of poker and go into may focussing on a few mental game issues i ve discovered that i think are important to adress. One of which is me being an undecisive little bitch when it comes to playing poker. I find it hard to make up my mind as to 180s vs cash. I enjoy both a lot but obviously have gravitated towards 180s lately cuz I find it a lot easier to volume them like crazy. yesterday i played 11 hours worth of them without a problem. after paying 9 hrs of them the day before. the last time i played 11 hrs of cash was january 31st 2012
so naturally despite my epected hourly being a lot lower in 180s than in cash esp now that i dont play staked and have dropped 3rs and 15s i felt getting in the hours would be more important to improve my work ethic. hence those hours. I will see how this month goes and rly just go by feel. as long as i keep studying and improving as a player i think both options are cool. the reson i say 180s vs MTTs is that I ll probably really drop most bigfield donaments from my schedule outside of sundays. the variance in those is ridiculous and funnily enough i find them hard to focus on while playing 180s on the side. so i ll spend this week playing 180 only sessions trying to knock out sick volume and evaluating all that come sunday. given SCOOP is coming up this month and i m looking to play all the low NLHE events this might come as handy practice for a long donkament grind in mid may.

[ ] 45 hours of play
[ ] 7 hours of strategy
[ ] 3 workouts
[ ] bunch of coaching
[ ] bunch of fruit and veg daily and NO junk food
[ ] get sh*tfaced on the pubcrawl with fellow grinders with TR
I will review these goals on every monday and try to evaluate my mental game as well in the process.
