i think by both playing cash and HUhypers mainly. just thinking about ranges as a whole and lines to represent what part of said ranges. also i watched a bunch of ATOTHEC101 vids which has helped me a lot to start thinking about not only their range but mine rather than the hand i am holding

When you play a session of 180's how many do you usually play in total, and how many at the same time?

i ll be trying to play 100 in a day i play 12-15tbls on avg, peaking at around 18 if i add other MTTs. single session is therefore between 30 and 50 of them depending on number of sessions i wanna play that day

so last week was basically a trial run for the schedule i set up for myself. i ve learned a bunch about living that way and have added a few changes after some evaluation. this is the general schedule i ll be trying to do this week:

i have massively overslept today because i went through all 12 episodes of homeland yesterday which took me until 9am. got up at 3pm absolutely messed up so gonna take it easier today and jsut grind some vids and 180 HHs and get ready to get back on the grind tomorrow. thats why i changed tuesday to a kind of do-as-you-feel day. if i m awake and eger to play i ll go for it if not i ll just chillax and make asecond weekend day out of it. in relation to that i ll grind the last session on thursday IF tuesday was a no grind day. that way i ll deffo still get a ton of hours in and should still cover 5-10 hrs of strat over the week.

my chair is due to arrive today and i ll then do groceries adn cook a risotto with prawns and spring onions. should be pretty good so looking forward!

gla

well i feel like there s not much point to grinding while the average european male is still at work. 5pm is around the time the russians get on their vodka so i start then and 4-5am my time is about the time the portuguese go to bed and canadians get online but action overall starts to slow down considerably. all that plus the fact that there simply isnt a way i m gonn abe waking up before 2 pm

i have no idea about 180s and samplesizes/volume, what would you say is a decent enough sample size with 180s to figure out if you're a winning player?

28 SHOULD GIVE YOU A GOOD IDEA

No idea what Richard means but I'd say roughly 5k should come fairly close to your true ish ROI but to determine if u re winning I d say 1.5k should be fine. Obv I have no sample to go by as of yet myself and have not quite gotten to terms with the variance of these thingies. Ppl say 300 buyin downers tend to happen in them tho so u get the idea

deffo more than 1.5k games im guessing, easily run good/bad for that

suppidy

didnt play today but have been mediocrely productive nonetheless. i did the scheduled workout, did groceries and cooked a risotto:

took less than half an hour and tasted amazing. if ppl are interested i ll write up the recipe.

got my new chair and it s like i m sitting on clouds as compared to the trashy POS i had before. will post a full pic of my setup when its all nicely done by saturday/sunday.

done a review of my $15 180man win with one of the two guys crashing here who s a hyperturbo 6m SNE grinder and deffo found a few leaks i ll look to plug in my next sessions. gonna do two more reviews of deep runs now then sleep early and wake up early tomorrow maybe try and go for a run and then back on the big grind tomorrow!

Hey dude. I think these estimates are quit far off tbh. You could reasonably play 15k games and still not really know your true roi. That said, 15-20k games and you *should* be close to knowing. Just as 5k games *should* give you a good indication as to whether you're a winning player. I had a 6/7k game b/e stretch last year and over the entire rest of my fairly sizeable sample have run at around a 30% ROI. It's really really tough to get your head around how big the variance can be in these games, classic "one day you'll run worse than you ever thought possible" territory. Plus, your skill level and the average ability of regs and fish is changing constantly. I'm not sure anybody ever truly knows.

Btw man, you should add me on Skype. Always happy to have someone new to review and chat crap with.

Oh, and dece looking risotto. One of my very favoritest foods.
