if your planning to grind 180's/MTT long term i highly recommend to checkout sitngo Wiz. such an awesome program.

also hands down. your thread is awesome. seems like you're the only one who's really putting effort in editing and updating etc.

whole thing is filled with recipes, boobs and schedules.. very nice
na main reason was that my first session seems to be absolutely offpeak so i loaded 2.50s to fill empty space on my screen haha. as for programs i still have ICMizer from my HUSNG time last year. think that should work too?

many thanks for the nice words bro

Spoiler:
no boobs tho. booties ftw

sup sup! uhhm.... my very first attempt at going pro was at 180s. think you should find it if u check my older threads. a month of variance and i quit hahaha. now i just got into MTTs and figured 180s would have less variance and more volume etc so went for that (for a change). not convinced about the less variance part just yet tho :P

so yea as i said i had trouble getting to sleep last night but still got up at 3 after snoozing for an hour as i didnt wanna mess up my newly found rythm. been fairly tired today and my back has really been killing the heck out of me so i ll go buy a chair tomorrow. these cheap chairs i ve been sitting on are just absolute nonsense. slept through the timeslot of my supposed run today but thats fine cuz i m in pain from ysterdays workout. gonna take the sports part a bit easy.

had breakfast then played a fairly long 180s session. played imo ven better than yesterday after watching IsmellToast's vds yesterday before going to bed. making really disciplined plays and having none of regs thining they can wield their stacks. just lost sooo many big equity pots for the chiplead itm its sad. but i m improving and once variance turns around i m sure i ll crush those thingies. really enjoying them so might throw in another full day of them tomorrow before grinding cash on donkey friday to really implement the schedule i ve planned. hope my back gets better before then!

not sure about the rest of the night. might watch vids might grind another session. breaktime now though!

thoughts on this on the FT bubble vs a reg who clearly tries to put pressure on ppl having the big stack. 50 hands 20% 3b

UTG: t13091 M = 4.16
CO: t6843 M = 2.17
Hero (BTN): t38636 M = 12.27
SB: t10538 M = 3.35
BB: t75944 M = 24.11

Pre Flop: (t3150) Hero is BTN with Q K
2 folds, Hero raises to t3280, 1 fold, BB raises to t7360, Hero raises to t38486 all in, 1 fold

Final Pot: t16270
Hero mucks Q K
Hero wins t16270

session today:

lost 5 massive hands all for top 3 stacks all ITM 4 of them as a favourite

also this is a call right?

final 2 tables

BTN: t8961 M = 3.35
SB: t8881 M = 3.32
Hero (BB): t28006 M = 10.47
UTG: t14838 M = 5.55
UTG+1: t48505 M = 18.13
MP: t5680 M = 2.12
CO: t2515 M = 0.94

Pre Flop: (t2675) Hero is BB with T Q
2 folds, MP raises to t5555 all in, 1 fold, BTN raises to t8836 all in, 1 fold Hero?

I think it's a snap vs MP, but prob fold after BTN shoves. Don't think we are doing that great vs BTNs range and it's for ~1/3 of your stack. But I'm a nit when it comes to tourneys...

I'm in bb having posted t1200 here so I only need like 30% equity and I think I have at least that vs reasonable ranges

Fml fell asleep at 11pm woke up at 6 couldn't go back to sleep since. Tilt. Gonna work out have breakfast then try and find a chair and do groceries. Hopefully two big 180s sessions today maybe even three. This getting my sleep pattern thingy isn't so easy afterall

sitngowiz handles icm and push/fold calculations. you plug in calling ranges for your opponents and it'll calculate your ev of your shove with x hand. same goes for 3 betting. so it's perfect to better your pushbotting which is essential in dem' 180's. it's got a 30 day trial, so just check it out. it's worth a thousand bucks imo.

and the QdTd hand looks like a break even/ish call.
think we got around 29-32% equity. so i'd say it's a question of chip preservation?!

I can afford dropping those 8k tho and still have a pretty strong stack whereas if I win I have a 40k monster and can pound the ft? Seems like a win is much better than a loss is bad and overall slightly better than folding? I ll check out sngwiz soon tytyty

If u have ICMIZER, why would u buy wiz? ICMIZER does the same thing and is even better, coz it has future hands calculations included....

Hey guys, if you'd like to help out with the cash game landscape, please vote for Mexican_natis in this thread. He is the only cash game player who could still be in with a chance of going to the meeting with Pokerstars to discuss changes.

If he does not go through, the 2 players to go meet with Pokerstars will both be HUsng-ers, and clearly, it would not benefit cash game players to have two players who know nothing about SSNL+ cash games in 2013.

I believe this will affect many of your interests in the future so please help out!

sup. good day today. played a total of two sessions one in the am one at night, did a ton of grocery shopping and found a chair i ll hopefully get delivered soon. got a screen too so thats all going along nicely.

finally variance gave me a break and i ran fairly decent making a bunch of fts and getting 3 top two finishes including a win (dance) bricked most of the non 180s mtts i played for a total of $500 in profits today. more of this please

did a total of 4 hrs of strat reviewing a 180s win by a fellow grinder so i feel like i ve learned a lot today. cash tomorrow most likely. peace

I ve recently really enjoyed grinding those donkaments and after some reflection i have come up with th following reasons which having figured them out will serve as a starting point for my goal setting further down this post:

-donkaments force me to grind.: in cash i ve kind of fallen into this routine of only playing when i feel like it. while i think forcing myself to grind is absolutely not good i think i ve used this approach as an excuse not to grind harder. while studying is absolutely important studying all by itself wont make me any money if i dont put what i learn into practice. i think having no other option but focus on the grind when playing donkaments has refueled my hunger for volume a bit.

-monotony: while i absolutely love cashgames for the in depth thought processes as well as the big edges and the low variance i have probably just spent a tad too much time following the same ol routine and ive maybe in some way shape or form burnt out. focussing on sth new for a change definitely gets the juices flowing again and forcess me to learn poker from a whole new perspective. never a bad thing

-variance: after i came back to cash from hypers in december (having experienced variance from its very very ugly side running 130BI below ev) i started looking at cash from an absolutely different perspective and immediately began crushing at more than 10bb/100. since december i doubt i have had a session worse than maybe -5BI in cash. obviously when i hit a rougher patch at 100nl that felt really odd. clearing my head a little and then coming back to cash hungry to crush is what the following goals will be aiming to achieve (also MTT variance will be a good way to toughen me up mentally):
Thanks for this ... because ive been really slacking lately on the cash tables and 3 days ago i dabbled in the $2.50 180 man SNGs just to change it up.

Started them with a $460 ish bankroll and after 73 ive made $298 which is a absolute god send for my bankroll tbh.

Ive played 3 sessions and each lasted around the 2h 15m which is way longer than ive played the cash tables for.

No doubt i prefer the cash tables .. but as you say .. playing these 180 mans does get you into improving your volume.

Ill play them probably until the end of the month and then return to the cash tables with renewed motivation to grind longer.

good to hear your doing those important exercises. I hope your form is correct because most of the people I see at the gym have awful form for squats but more so with deadlifts.
