na man the extent to which i did it is nothing but ******ed. i was playing 25nl with a $4k roll. lolol. but yea learned from it and hopefully others did from my experience too. and atm i m pretty happy to be where i am at this point in time

In your opinion, what is the best place to live? And how much did you spent monthly for renting the house and for the bills, for food and for partying?

I assume something like 700/800€ monthly for a standard and not ballas life is ok, am I wrong?
tbh i m living on no more than 600€/month atm in San Gwann and did bout the same last year in St. Julians so all it rly depends on is how much you need to be happy (i ned a small bedroom a kitchen and a work room no tv no heating no nothng rly) and how expensively you eat (i only cook my own stuff and i buy fresh stuff only no canned trash thats usually more expensive) and how much u go out/travel (not doing much of that at al atm)

shoot me a pm when u re here, can grab a beer together

thx all

oh well, It sounds great, but you mean 600€ with renting and bills, or they're excluded?

Yeah, I'm not a baller and I don't need too much to be happy. But the TV wtf, how can you live without tv lol?

Btw, I just need a nice place to live, work, relax and partying obv when I'm in a good mood. I think malta it's perfect for me and if you tell me it's also cheap, I would snap book the flight ticket

all things included. only things excluded are nights out cuz i tend to not have too many of those. clubs are usually free to enter tho

Wow sounds so cheap over there, im looking into Renting my own house in the UK, and im looking at like $700-800 a month just for the Rent!!
That,s including the crappy weather we get here too.

When does it start to get really hot over there blakk?

Cool, i usually go Spain for a week or something around June...

Maybe ill try Malta for a change, you know if the flights are more expensive to Malta or not?

Coming from the UK, so i think its a little further

Just moved back home to Edinburgh from Ireland around six weeks ago, finaly found someone willing to rent a property to a 23 year old with no refrences and no job lol, had to get my finger our my arse and pay 6 months and deposit upfront. Move in tuesday so I'm kinda excited.

Anyways I'm starting up on ipoker with 2k Br, gonna grind 50nl and 100nl. I have money in bank so I top up if need be.

Have 3k in ftp account and around 1500 on other peoples accounts that I have staked, let's hope we see our money again.

My goals are to get 80-100k hands a month and realy improve as a player by watching plenty dc videos and may try get some coachin. I'm not a great player but I think I'm good enough to beat small stakes.

I've played a few thousand hands since joining ipoker, deffo be big grinding once I'm settled in my new house.

Ill deffo be posting a few hands a day, and a girrafffe maybe once a week. Hopefully opening this thread can keep me on track, I wrote this on my blackberry so its come out all splattered. Gl at tables

The majority of players really dont live a ballin lifestyle.... including live players, most live players probably have it worse than online imo.

Sitting at 1 table for like 8 - 10 hours a day, day in day out in a casino... hardly ballin imo

But then again 99% of people doing normal jobs arent ballin, but at least with poker your doing something you enjoy, your own boss, doing as many or as little hours as you want, when you want.

tend to agree. i mean i rly dont care how ppl ive their lives but from my experience most ppl that consider themselves 'ballin' are massive ******s just trying to make themselves feel good by making others feel ugly. i rly hate that kinda behaviour tbh as i come from anything but a ballin background.

agree with all but the tears part

if u want my honest oponion: dont make things like supernova ur goal at these stakes. work on ur game and move up. not only will ur bottom line thank you but also nova will be loleasy.

it is however vey much achiavable at even 10nl if u re a massgrinder doing big hours. obv not the best use f ur time but doable

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

gonna book my first day at teh 100nl. played fairly well and actually feel really comfortable at this limit. first impression is that its ridiculously fishy. regs are much better tho. spewed a little to start ran good then ran lolbad in bvb spots then heatered to finish. coached my friend adam today before the last session too and gonna do a bunch of review/strat now to finish the day. big volume and a donkament or two tomorow! glglglgl weeeee
