Well your blue line in that graph is RB right? How can RB ever go down?

Would def suck to be running bad and bam.... rakeback downswing.

the blue line is obv green line (table profits) + rakeback

Okay that makes sense now. It goes up $600 all at once. I guess he has to manually input that he got a bonus there?

He just enters his bonusses in HEM when he releases them, how does everyone else do it?

hahaha and i thought i was the IT n00b ITT lazyace

i wanna make sure my RB this year in m y graph is accurate so i plug in every single bonus i get manually instead of going with a %age which always is not gonna be 100% accurate given i started the year wth 30k FPPs and am gonna split my FPPs between the 600 and the 1600 bonuses

Hey in my defense I've been up all night with a massive migraine. Nothing to do but troll 2p2. Here is a prime example of what happens when I'm feeling miserable and some noob starts asking questions about lolpotodds:

haha, yeah some of the 25nl 6max ZOOM players are aggro tards, seems like they just 3bet in BB so often vs BTN, and also the BTN 3betting the CO, obviously they are good to 3bet in them spots, but i feel a lot of players do it WAY too much.

Gonna hit the 50nl FR myself today so will see you there, i think theres more profit than 25nl 6max for me there, and less variance than 50nl 6max... which im just not mentally ready to play yet!!

See ya at the tables Blakk, any advice on the FR Zoom would be nice too.

I don't have HM2, but I know in HM1 you have to input each bonus manually.

Best way to do it imo.

Subbed. I hope to be playing against you in 2014, if you're still grinding these stakes at least.

Coincidence.... played some 50nl FR ZOOM, and then just hit the GYM myself, hoping the new signing up to the gym will help me focus on my poker, gives me something to do to take a break from poker, and should also relieve the stress if i start to tilt!!

Only played like 1.6 hands at FR then, everyone played pretty straight forward and i found it quite easy... some guy 4bet calling off 65bb with Q6s LOLdonkaments, and had some monkey who 3bet me everytime he was on the BTN and everytime he was BB!!! I tried 1 4bet and he just jammed, must of been about 14times he 3bet me!! proper lagtard, probably best to avoid him, until i see some hands he shows down

Pretty sure that after about the 3rd time he did that I would start 4betting everytime, esp when IP.

yeah, problem was i didnt have a hand that i was willing to call off with, like suited connectors etc, eventually i ended up 4 betting like K6s or something i think, was on the BTN vs his BB, and he just shoved all in.... obviously hes full of **** and stuff, but cant call..

best to just avoid them types of players, and stack off lighter like 9s, 10s, and AJ and stuff imo.... or just avoid all together without premiums to reduce the variance maybe

and pretty much this too. anytime a guy starts looking out of line i put him in line. no need to wait to be sure that he actually is out of line. imo attack is the best defense vs most lolaggro guys. not only that but many times their 3betting range is so ridiculously polarized that u can probly 3bet ur whole opening range there and show a profit if he only proceeds to valueship. if not you just 4bet wider for value and can go as low as 88 or AT in many cases

Maybe my mentality is wrong on this subject (hopefully coach blakk will chime in soon), but when I 4bet it's not always because I'm looking to get it in.

There are only 3 reasons we bet/raise: as a bluff, for value, and capitalize on dead money. If someone is continually putting money in the pot by 3betting with less than premium hands, then I am certainly going to 4bet light at a high frequency in order to collect that dead money.

I understand what your saying, and thats why i 4bet the K6s, had a feeling he would ship it, and obvoisly he did.
Personally i prefer to 4bet Ax due to the blocker, but i decided to do it with K6s cos of how he was playing.

He 3bet me early on and i flat KQ on the BTN,called 2 streets with flopped top2, and he check folded to 1/3 pot bet on river.

Guess thats why he went all lag on me, unless thats his standard play.

Do you prefer just folding your BTNs vs this opponent with hands like K6s etc, that are too good to fold on the btn, but cant call vs 3bet.... or do you prefer still opening them and 4bet folding??

I thinks its probably better folding them myself, and just 4betting hands willing to stack off with, and flatting other hands like suited connectors and broadways.

It is fully dependent on what sort of player you are or want to be. If you want to be a standard 12/9 reg then fold them pre. I've been that player before, and I personally don't think it is nearly as profitable as the laggrotard style that I now play (22/19). It takes a lot of adjustments in your game and sometimes you have to stick all the money in there with a crap hand. I have 5bet AI for 100BB with Q5s, because I was fairly sure that my opponent was 4betting light and there was enough $ out there to make it profitable even if he did call off with AK. It's all in what you are comfortable with. If you find that you are not comfortable putting in 1/4 your stack with K6s to fold or 5betting your entire stack because its +EV, then don't. But it's a lot of fun!!
