I am blakkman08 and I play fullring cash games on stars under the nick t8ofdiamonds.

I started 2012 with $200 in my account playing $5NL 6max and finished 2012 playing $50NL as supernova. You can find my 2012 thread here

I am currently staked and am looking to move up through the limits a lot faster (80% of the volume in 2012 was nl25 at which I won at 6+bb/100) so my goals for 2013 are going to be a bit lofty but surely achievable:

[ ] reach nl200 and be a solid winner there.
I am hoping to reach and establish myself at nl200 as soon as possible and reevaluate my yearly goals once I achieve this.

[ ] move up aggressively.
If I am beating a level and both me and my backer are happy with results there is no reason why I shouldn't move up

[ ] live healthier.
I have lived pretty horrendously this year, not doing much in terms of keeping a good rhythm or doing sports. This has to change! I have realized that a good life balance is key to poker success and thus I will treat healthy food sport and socializing as big parts of my career. I will post a detailed gym/run plan later ITT and attach freerolls to this so stay tuned!

[ ] move to Malta again.
I spent 4 months living in Malta in 2012 and loved the place! I already have a friend who I ll likely be looking to find a place with for late march/April and can't wait to step foot in our new apartment!

[ ] work hard!
I spent a large chunk of 2012 procrastinating my valuable time away. This has to stop! Nobody got to the top by being lazy! I am lucky to be able to do something that I actually enjoy but I cannot take that for granted. I have to make the most of it while I can.

[ ] 500k VPPs.
Just a little motivation for me to keep putting in solid volume throughout the year. Half a mil has a nice ring to it and since I won't be able to tackle SNE this year I ll settle for half

I will try and give this thread a bit more structure than the last one by setting and evaluating monthly and possibly weekly goals as well as posting a couple of the more interesting or funny hands I happen to play. I like having discussions ITT so feel free to suggest sth that i forget to mention.

Also, I enjoy cooking and will try to document most of the new dishes I end up trying out. Again, feel free to suggest something for me to try out, there aren't many things i wouldn't consider making

u mentioned that u played 5nl 6max and saw u later moved to fullring, for higher vpp or because at fullring games are easier than 6max?

the massive hickup was in the middle of my nl50 session but it looks like it can be figured out just as much. massively hung over today so wont be playing much and tomorrow/30th/new years eve are all kinda full and 1st i d assume i ll be dead as a stone so i m looking to get back on the grind on the 2nd and formulate some goals from there!
