Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

I m 99%sure I ve never squeezed 73s I do remember one squeeze with A3s which I would classify as std in the spot that it was and another with another suited ace. I do agree that KTo is a bad hand in general but that spot was one where the caller had 3bet every hand he has previously played in position which makes his range for calling there 30 or so bb feel very weak and Ray is necessarily in a terrible spot here. Don't really hate that play.

I do agree that two of the calls are made are based on what is very likely wrong assumptions but the k9 more so than the a4.

IMO this is freerolling yourself, these are both risks investors adopt when they buy.

Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

Na I feel like when I assume the field will be 400+ runners and soft and it in actuality is 193 players with 80 or so people I know the names of then charging the markup I put in place based of the first assumptions isn't good etiquette. Despite me prob being one of a very small fraction of people doing that

as usual you were right and it wasnt 73s. dont understand also how a guy on your left can flat befoar its your turn but thats another story. you pretty nicely explained why you squeezed there and yadayada but in teh end against #fischigespieler fitorfold or not its just a terrible and completely unnessecary play and after that one iirc your pulverized a top10 stack in a matter of 2hours...

Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

hahaha u got me agree that play was bad actually. i m not sure what you re trying to accomplish by using that tone tho :S i m posting all those hands so that i get constructive feedback and can get better as a player but mainly u sound condescending in your posts. i could just post sth like

played 1a. busted. on to the next one

but i feel like postig all those hands so that i get to hear ideas of how i could have played those spots better. and when i do play badly i m the first to admit that i did and i refund markups as a sign of good faith too. not sure what else i should do tbh. if people think i m a bad player then they wont buy my action and that should rly be the end of that dont u think

and that stack that i pulverized i proceed to pulverize in basically the same way almost every time given the hands that were dealt to me

Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

I always sound condescending. Thats as constructive as critisism gets from me...

I think that

A) you give people way too much credit for thinking on a v high level. Aka merged ranges, so and so many combos, etc., bluffs there with that frequency, etc. In the one card straight hand for example i dont think one needs to break down ranges. If he has straight he always bets, if he does not hell often give up and not always bluff - fold an move on

B) I think that rgd SQ you have used fairly meh hands (lol sample) and should maybe rethink/revise your game plan there

Wat you make of those 2 points is obv entirely up to you

Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

now that sounds a lot more like a comment one would expect. also just confirmed the guy in the A4 hand is Alex Debus a german reg who is def capable of the assumptions made.
also given i did the mongo math at 3am after grinding all day as it turns out the amount of value hands i included in his range is in actuality 25% smaller while i believe i did the possible bluffing combos correctly esp with me discounting a ton of them along the way. i still stand my my call there tbh but i misplayed a number of other hands yesterday which i def see room to improve on

wrt squeeze:

74s is absolutely terrible now looking back. flat and fold are both close there and i think i pref flat given the players involved and the stack depth. still think all other squeees i ve mentioned this year in live poker (Axss vs grampa in ept malta main and KTo yesterday) have their merits given circumstance. the former is one i make with a high frequency of about 75% the latter prob somewhere around 30% of the time. most of those plays i obv look for reasons to make them and dont always spazz squeeze. i think the bigger error in the KTo hand is the turn play than the preflop decision tbh. given the amount of money invested (1750 into a pot of 600+600+150+300+150= 1800) and the fact that i think the caller folds almost all the time (80%+) and the fact that ray is in kind of a shtty spot pre with a bunch of hands that usually would always call and the fact that i have equity when called its certainly far from terrible. i can see why you d want a different type of hand wrt blockers but i doubt this goes postflop all that often. maybe my idea of rayjings opening range in that spot from HJ is way off tho. i think my sizing is a little too small (should have made it 2200 rather than 1900) and should have kept checkfolding on turn.

Hey think the AA is the biggest mistake. He will very very likely keep
Betting jx in the river if he plays it this way on the turn as people don't value bet thinly (we check mfkn aces) so on the river we have the stone cold nuts. Live guys aren't trying to c/r sets or jx in these spots. I'd either bet ****ing huge for value or bet to induce as I think the range he gets to the river is super high % bluff catchers or missed draws that just give up. So depending how you perceive him to play vs cbets in 3bet pots or 3bets pre in general

I'd either bet 15%\call or 105%

Oh just saw 99. That is snap slam dunk river bet too. He bets kx so often and has bunch of hands that can incorrectly station.

Why did you 3bet kjo vs the older guys open btw?

Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

So you 3bet to ISO him in position or you thought he'd fold to 3bets too much? I think if he opens way too much you can flat pre for sure on the button with kjo

Re: blakkman08 2k15 spazzaments

I've been to Berlin once. Best part was when I was in a karaoke bar in Warsawstrausse singing Meat Loaf with a German lesbian.

As the song goes, I would do anything for love, but I won't do that.

How bizarre. Heading there shortly for dinner (Keuele-Berlin or something) with friends. Will be on the lookout for microphones and lesbians.
