today sucked. played fine but couldnt get anythign going at all. ft bubbled the 50eur wina series 3max hyper shootout which sucked, came 9th in the 82$ 4max psko and i think thats about it. started out strong in the PLO wcoop and had 150$ in bounties in no time but then got this hand:
Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8 Q 6 A
3 folds, Hero raises to 600, SB folds, BB calls 400
Flop: (1,300) T Q 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets 900, BB raises to 3,400, Hero calls 2,500
Turn: (8,100) 5 (2 players)
BB bets 8,100,
i felt like there are two major hand types that villain can have here.
a) QT, TT QQ for strong made hands against which i obv dont have great equity, prob have around 25-35% vs those but i block the major part of them quite hard
b) combodraws like KQJx KJ9x AKJx KJhh etc which by the turn i have about 55-70% against none of which i really block.
i need 37% equity vs his entire range not counting bounties. i believe he had 175$ in bounties which adds about 2000 chips into the pot making me need 35% here. i know its a super close spot and i m still not sure if i should call or fold. my stack of 13k is obv quite valueable had i folded. anyway i called and bricked
Spoiler:
Hero raises to 13,572 and is all-in, BB calls 5,472
River: (35,244) J (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Results: 35,244 pot
Final Board: T Q 2 5 J
BB showed T 8 6 Q and won 35,244 (17,672 net)
Hero showed 8 Q 6 A and lost (-17,572 net)
not sure if i ll play tomorrow or not as i made day 2 of the wina main event which will make me play a wednesday session. will jsut see how i feel. gla

Only thing that I thought was that Ah blocks his drawhands some and your hand doesn't block his made hands "superhard". And that he might not be inclined to raise flop with KJxxhh. And maybe a good % of the time he does it's TJQKhh?
