Hey Ive been looking at some threads and I love how making a personal thread helps motivation for goals and accomplishments.
A little about me, Im a strategy game specialist . been playing starcraft , chess , warcraft since i was 6 years old 10 hours a day everyday. Ive always sucked at these kind of things at first but after putting in relentless volume i become very successful at whatever I do.

I have just started playing poker for 1 month and im
DOWN 1 GRAND! over 50k hands.
I lost 900 in the first 20k hands and 100$ in the next 30k.
very expensive lessons here IMO. Until i discovered rush and
rake back now im motivated in this last do or die stand.

so heres the plan.
Im depositing 25$ tomorrow morning and getting 100$ rake back on friday.
its do or die from this point on. no more deposits.
I'm going to be playing rush 2/5 starting with 1 table then going to 4 as the day progresses depending on how well im doing.
On saturday i have a coaching session booked with DevineBret that will cost me 60$ assuming that i will win tomorrow and friday on rush poker i can afford that coaching session. If not then im so sorry for standing you up breit.

Now the goal here is to get black card from climbing out of the micro stakes through rush and no more deposits.

Im playing rush for the full tilt points the goal here is black card haha

What is your current rolling 100 day average? Playing like 3k hands of 5nl a day I was only averaging like 150 ftps. At 10nl I had a few days of like 4-5k hands and made like 500-600 ftps. So basically to do this you will either have to get to 10nl for 100 days or move quickly up to like 25 or 50nl.

you seem to be a pretty bad player from the hands youve posted....wtf @ that 22 hand...

My advice is, don't get too caught up with rakeback and volume. Having a good winrate and improving your game is more important.

i won 30 bux from that session and im starting my coaching session in 5 mins hopefully ill be better after.

I wouldn't get caught up in the black card. FT points are only worth 5$ per 1k, so even if your getting 1k base ftps per day its only worth an extra 10-20$ depending on when you play.

Improving your game is much easier to do over reasonable hours. I grind 25nl almost daily and still haven't hit a 500pt rolling average over 100, although it is quite possible considering I make around 130 ftps per hour 4 tabling rush.

I think fatigue sets in more so in poker than video games. One of the main reasons is that situations are always changing and your forced to adapt your strategy based on ever changing information.

Anyways, just want to say gl.

I remember in my 5nl rush days that set mining was much more profitable than it is at the higher limits. People at 5nl can never fold QQ+ on low boards.
