Long story short:

I played online poker for about a decade(With 18 differant 2+2 backers). With winnings/rakebake/referrals I was making upwards to 2k a month just from referrals alone. I had a SICK apartment, only working 2 days a week at my familie's business to stay sane. Had a smoking hot, but craazy, GF and a sweet dog. Life was good...

THEN Black Friday came...

I never tried live poker. The closest poker room where I live is an hour and a half away, plus I've had MANY coaches/pros inplant into my brain that the cardinal rule of poker: DON'T PLAY LOW LIMITS LIVE! So I spent a couple years watching Netflix and drinking every night until I pissed all my $$ away.. Had to move back in with the parents, broke up with the GF, and now working 6 days a week making 1/10th of what I was playing poker online. Not to mention my dog(one of my BEST buds EVER) got hit by a car within 6 months of Black Friday..


I've been doing nothing but going to work and mopping around all day, watching TV and being depressed while waiting for online poker to come back. I hear 2013 has GREAT things for online poker coming, and if its ever available in the States, I'll quit live poker on the spot and hop on the first computer with WiFi.

I know ALL the disadvantages of live poker(gas money, tipping the dealer, less hands an hour, only playing 1 table at a time, etc..), but I recently went to a Yankee's game in Cleveland and hit up The Horseshoe's poker room. If the $1/$2 games are half as soft in Niagara Falls as they are in Cleveland, I can CLEARLY make a profit starting at $1/$2 until online poker comes back.

I have way more than 20 buy-ins at $200 a buy-in, even though I am at the lowest limit available so technically my Bankroll is my Life Roll.

I'm going to drive out to Niagara Falls tomm sometime during the afternoon(hoping Labor Day brings some donks with it) and start my run at $1/$2. I figured I'd post my progress here because I miss 2+2 and to keep track of everything, as there is no live PokerTracker 3..

EPIC Fail OP!

What sites are you guys playing on that accepts US players and actually be able to withdraw??? I've seen 6-7 sites available to US players, but after I researched all them, EVERY one has withdraw problems.. With people either getting a bounced checks, no check at all, or the site will just shut down holding everyones $$..


Can SOMEONE show me how to play online IN the US without having to worry about my $$ being stolen..

Lock is your best bet. To cash out you simply sell Lock funds for 15-20% vig to another 2p2er.

I can't believe that you wouldn't consult 2p2 as part of your research. Simply posting this same question in almost any forum 6-16 months ago would have yielded your answer.

you will fail. feel free to prove me wrong but you will. Do something else with your life and stop living in the past, when you do fail to do as well as you hoped you are going to look back on this period of your life where your dreams were bigger than reality as a huge waste.

Well I took RAWFACES advice and started playing on Lock.

Threw on $450, pretty much all gone after a week full of bad beats/coolers.. Gotta love the return to online poker.. I'm playing a standard TAG 24/17, isolating noobs and getting it in good on the flop probably 75% of the time, just to be turned or rivered..

Only 2k hands in and already feeling the variance beat down.. But im getting it in good WAY more than not, and playing good poker, so there's to do but ride it out..







Time to work Wednesday-Monday again, throw on another $400 and probably lose that too, but someone famous who I can't remember once said "Success is the ability to move from failure to failure with enthusiasm." That and Xanax is helping me with my beats lol



What an awesome way to lose my last buy-in(after I dropped over $150 I went to shallow tables)...







Waited like 2 hours 1-tabling to double up off this donk-o-tron.. Ghey..
