Hi friend. Just skimmed the thread. I have a few suggestions for you to consider:

1. Select a game/stake and stick to it. You will fare better specializing in one format.

2. Expect to make zero money from poker until 2024. The only reason to play poker until then is to improve your game, not make money. If you adopt this mindset you will be making $1K/month before you know it.

Hyperfocus on studying and practicing for your main game/stake.

3. Never play on ACR again.

Tonight I did an Instacart order. No big deal at the start, was in the produce section which is where you always start when I got a message from "Eric", the customer.

"Scott, if you can't find the cooked eggs, you can get them from the salad bar."

Okay, ty for the help, I reply. I think to myself, I love it when they tell you this and interact it makes it so much easier.

Then 10 seconds later.

"We are having tuna fish sandwiches. The eggs go with the tuna."

Um, great, I think. I like chatty customers but this is funny.

Before I can reply he says, "We have an egg cutter at home."

"Nice" is all I reply, because I was saying worse things under my breath.

I found the cooked eggs just fine, and the packaged tuna. When I got to his house he came to the door before I knocked or rang and you could tell he was mentally challenged. But not down syndrome.

We had a brief discussion about salad bar eggs and egg cutters. I told him it was a good idea to suggest the salad bar if I wouldn't have found the cooked eggs. I felt great to be able to deliver groceries to such a legend of a man.

The good deed? He increased his tip from $2 to $4 an hour later! I think because I talked to him for a few moments at drop off.. Go Eric !

I will not stick with a stake. My goal is to make $50 to withdraw on ACR everyday I deposit. I usually deposit less than $10 twice a day. If I have 3 buy ins I'm moving up stakes.

nothing eventful has happened the past few days. two losing days on bovada, maybe $20 at most, one losing day on ACR, maybe $9

but the bad beats on Bovada are over and over and over and absurd! this one dude at 5plo called the flop on a broadway Ace high flop with an ace and an 8 kicker against my AJ two pair and won the hand! I was about a 99% favorite! I remember why i stopped playing on this damned site




Loaded up $20 tonight on Bovada. Put a small amount on KU vs Duke, got KU at +1.5

With Duke having a new coach and 88% of their team gone I felt it was a great bet plus I'm a huge KU fan since I've been rooting for them my whole life and live 20 minutes from Lawrence.

I'm up $4 on Bovada currently, gonna go play again now.

One adjustment I've made is more cbetting in plo. Also, more folding on the river. So far it's helped a ton.
