Not once. I whooped a guy once for throwing my pen in the bin. Teacher forced us to apologize to each other after. Had my fingers crossed. Took his soul that day.

July results

+ aprox 6k$ from first week (had to format)

23.5k USD + 1.5k RB~ = +25k$

The 500z propbet is on 9.27bb/100 and 18.000 hands. Will finish tomorrow.

Game fell off last 2 weeks. Didn't play as good as I should have or could have. Going to take it easy the next few days and focus on theo. Also. I'll try to mix in much more 1k / 2k. I know we didn't have a timelimit on the propbet but I felt somewhat obliged to put most of my volume on 500z.

I'll take the 2k lobbies within the next 2 months. In 4-5 months I want the 5k lobbies. I'll make it look easy.

**** talking aside, I know you were playing 5k not too many years ago, so just wondering why 500 now? Is it due to some shots going badly? real life expenses etc?

I took a big gamble in changing my studyapproach and my game entirely. Got absolutely murdered afterwards. That was mid/end 2014. 2015 was dreadful pokerwise as my expanses were still around 6-8k€/month and it took a long time to admit that I spent a few hundred studyhours trying very hard to get worse and lose a ton of money. Lost a lot of my drive and motivation in Poker as for the first time I just wasn't moving forward anymore. End of 2015 I noticed some things going through an old DB of me playing 5k before the changes. Decided to pick things back up and claim my game back. February was the first time I hit similiar stats to what I had previously.

I know some other guys went down a similiar road. Hayley changed in similiar ways and ended up getting destroyed. Obviously he had a lot more bankroll to deal with that situation. Think he lost 500-600k straight on 5kNL which is insane compared to his previous results.

Anyways. No excuses. Battled 5k. Got rekt. Lessons learnt. Prices paid.

Yo Scurra, what type of studying have you done lately? And what are you focusing on right now?

Much Appreciated.

Best of luck!

You are quite a motivation. Would of never thought such winrates are possible at that stakes, just shows how exploitable NL still is at top.

However, I don't think I can even imagine the amount of hours spent in theory and implementing it to the grind.
