Hey,
Well it is me again
Sorry for all the guys I am probably already needling with my words.
Some might know me from three challenges I had in the past here which I all did not continue after a couple of days and I can not even explain why.
For those who read the first time about me, just a quick introduction again who I am:
My name is Benny, I am 21 years young and currently living in Stuttgart.
I am studying economics currently in the 5th semester.
I first got in touch with Poker basically due to my former business which was tennis betting having had a couple of sharing deals with poker players.
I started to deposit 10$ during the off-season with no real aim behind it, just having fun.
The problem was the fun this made to me was so high I had to deposit again and this time much bigger afterwards
During 2015 and 2016 I lost around 4.5-5k$ playing poker but basically really not paying attention on the money as my focus was betting and it was more fun to me. I tried all formats: Sit&Goes, Mtts, Cashgame immediately playing on big limits loosing my money.
I had to stop betting a couple of weeks ago as I have more "real life aims" like working hard on my body, eating healthy and in general being more flexible which is simply not accord able with the lifestyle you have to live as a full time bettor.
Since the last challenge I was really not playing bad but when I did do so I I went "crazy" by purging my Holdem Manager which gives me a good feeling again (no joke, I think this really is a obstruction I have).
I was playing around 20k hands with 30$ profit+rakeback and then dropped 5-6 stakes due to bad discipline and purged my Holdem Manager again lol.
I still believe in myself and a blog here would clearly support me being more stable and this blog might really be the key to be successful in poker for me.
There is no aim I have in general with the blog expect being more stable mentally, I will just try to post clear accessible aims here and update on a more regular basis here.
For now, I am playing two zoom tables at the same time which is okay, I am fine playing 500 hand every hour and it allows me to really think about the situations.
So the first challenge will be a volume challenge until 01.04.2017: Play 40 000 hands without resetting your Holdem Manager until 01.04.2017 and update this blog on a daily basis.
I have no profit aim for this first challenge, I will just try to play every single hand as good as possible, I will force myself to not purge the Holdem Manager again and I will put in the volume I mentioned above.
First update will follow today in the evening.
