Everyone saying “doggo” in this thread is driving me up the wall
You’re grown men, not 7 year olds.

Other than that gg OP, at least you’re living life on your terms. You’re free.

Wouldn’t necessarily say this is being free, in the trenches right now but I’m clawing to get out.

Cracking the windows and taking some Benadryl or melatonin before bed really helps with car sleeping. Good to hear about the dog’s living situation glgl on the grind.

I’m shocked, shocked that an account with an Italian screen name is enraged by meaningless words. FYI as you can tell by my sn I mostly talk in film/tv references, I use doggo as a reference to No Country For Old Men but that might be even more childish than using it as a 7 year old would. Thanks Corrado and keep taking everything so seriously, don’t let anyone ever say you’re just a stereotype lol.

Taken too many beats, I need a break.

8-8-6 board in 1/2 plo.

I have 8-6 no redraws, we get it in on the flop. Turn 7 river 9, he has 8-7-9-10.

Maybe it's time to take a break and go visit the doggo?

I took some beats in spots that I just couldn’t find a fold

But that’s the bad news. Good news is I stopped mentally whining about this downswing/variance and I’ve accepted that they are outside of my control.

I ran KK into AA in a 4 bet preflop all in pot, we ran it twice and I scooped it. So it works both ways.

My plan after August 8th is to travel to Vegas and grind poker.

During that time, I will stay in Vegas hotels using comps.

I am also giving my dog to a friend as I can’t have him with me on this journey.
Who on this earth gives away his best friend instead of building a journey around him??? I can totally understand that it‘s not easy to look after a dog in this lifestyle, i‘ve been there as well. But i could never ever give him away. Even tho it meant for me to change my whole plans and lifestyle to look after him. Even my relationship broke up, cause i decided to keep him instead!
At this point i hope you enjoy your degen ride, and i hope your dog can be happy and your friend is a more loyal person than you are.
Good luck on your trip out of dept and into fortune!

Remember you wrote you would be taking a shot in Vegas in early Sept. Hope it went/is going well. And sometimes if you can not give your dog the life they deserve giving him to someone that can rather than be selfish and have them miserable is best for the dog. Only you know whether or not this was your choice.

What a wild few weeks it has been. I will give a proper update when I find time to. As of right now I’m 20 mins away from boarding from Japan back to Los Angeles.

There may be a misunderstanding, I never gave away my dog, I let a friend dog sit him. He’s still mine.
