Hey guys,

i am a 22 year old business and economics student and have been playing poker since late 2008.

I have been mostly a MTT player with some success but also with shots in all sorts of cashgames what has basically been without any success.

Due to university and other stuff i haven't been very active the last year. 2012 i played 40k hands of cash and about 350 games and although i feel like i can still beat the games i would like to get more out of the games.

My focus will be on MTTs and NL HU.

The title of the blog is because i feel like i always seem to give up or take the easy way when something gets tough and that's something i want to change, meaning studying more and for university that means, participating in the lessons and work harder. The first 3 semesters i didn't do much and i really have to get my ass up to get the grades to have the opportunity to make a masters degree. Fpr Poker that means that i try to play more and especially do more theory and analyzes.

not my complete results but a good overview. Cash graph 2k12

i hope this blog will motivate me in any aspect.

Thanks.

Hey, finally a second post to my "blog".

May was SCOOP time and after some profit in April and a 7th place in the 162$ on Pokerstars for 3,7k i thought i should take some shots. So i played some 109$, 162$ and all the mid events.

unfortunately i didn't go too well. In the early events i played pretty bad. At the last day i took a shot in the 1k main event and felt pretty good about my play. Did some good 3bet/4bet bluffing but wasn't able to get something going because i lost the showdowns.

in cashgames i played very low volume but had some nice profit, although i donked off some money at the plo tables...
