Re: BEATING DAMN MICROS!!! Thats a goal i believe..

Also checked calling 3bet overall, p/l +$17.43. Fold to a 3bet: -$7.12.

I only played 10k hands since restart it is still a small sample but actually calling 3bet shows profit on me at NL5 where i am right now.

Re: BEATING DAMN MICROS!!! Thats a goal i believe..

Seems to me that you are overplaying overpairs a bit.
You should give more info on the villain.
Generally if you play with him a lot and he has solid stats he isnt going to be raising flop and turn and shoving river with top pair top kicker.
I find its more profitable to get rid of the aces against the regs if you get played back at especially on turn and concentrate and milking them of their money when you have the set.

Your not going to run into many tag reg players who are trying to outplay you. They may 3bet resteal cbet and fold ,raise button cbet fold. etc but they stay out of the way postflop .When your gettin minraise on the flop and turn with aces they you should start to think that you dont have the best hand anymore

May be you are right but at least 30, problem when some kind of swings happens it tilt me a bit hard, look what happend in 1k hands day ago i lost 10bi, imagine if i lose it at NL10 with $200 it's half of the total br, that would upset me hard and then i will play with some kind of fear or i have to move down which is not good, with 40 bi i can stay at the same level untill i lose 20bi, i mean.. it's all personal stuff..

It depends on your mindset and where you feel comfortable. Im a br nit and I need 40-50bi to play my a-game and not think about money

Ok fair enough i suppose it depends on what bank roll u need urself to move up, not what other people need, i just wouldnt have the patience to have to wait that long before moving up.

Re: BEATING DAMN MICROS!!! Thats a goal i believe..

OP, I notice you often get frustrated and upset over some hands and sessions.

Mindset is the key to online poker in this day and age imo. (Almost everyone knows how to play these days). When I first hired a coach some 3 years ago he could not understand why I was not a winner playing higher stakes (I was playing 50NL then). He would sweat me over and over and I was making mostly correct decisions with just some minor mistakes here and there. What he never saw was I used to tilt like a monkey after drinking a case of 5 hour energy. I would get bad beat a few times and then start dumping money to the table. Even Taylor Caby posted in one of my threads on Cardrunners that he thought my biggest problem was tilt. I had to solve it.

Slowly but surely I got my tilt under control. It started by reading "The Poker Mindset" and then going from there. I read everything I could about tilt, how to spot it and how to solve it. I then spent all my effort applying what I learned and proceeded to turn $37 into 4k in a matter of 6 months on Full Tilt [tilt]where it still remains[/tilt] playing only about 90 minutes a day 4-5 days a week. My best cash game run ever.

I am not sure if this is an actual problem of yours, but I just wanted to mention that mindset is KEY. Once you get the money in, you cannot control what cards come, so there is no reason to get upset about it.

Working out your tilt issues will be massive +EV for your bankroll. I really recommend reading The Poker Mindset as a good starting point.

oh, and 40 buy ins for 10 nl is good, i play like 10 k hands a day and let me tell you that 15 buy ins downswing its not unusual, giving that at our level we tilt like f uck and we are kinda bad players also so tilt + bad play + variance - huge downswong

Hehe, even when i had AA i was sure the guy hit a set but i still pushed hoping turn or river hit some ace from space, only ones i remeber i fold AA it was clear str8 situation, i fold a set even ones, also with QQ vs 77 but there was like not much to call, in this QQ we are talking about it was a good fold, fish telling u when u got beaten and it was good fold to me, because i didnt want to gamble all my stack which oves 1.5 bi actually, but usually i do call/push, it was diffrent. I am not that fishy really, but somehow i am getting to the showdown too often, by the numbers it says i am biggest fish ever, i checked my PT3 and damn i need to stop calling turn and river alot like, my profit would fly like rocket if i do that

10k a day is huuuge, i am trying to play 2k a day, but no luck with it, only can do 1k on avrg., only play 4-6 tables max, because i got 16.4" 1920x1080 screen, and i dont like tables to be stacked or cascaded, i like to see all of them at a time, so i got 6 to the max with still a good size so i can play good, 2 tables i see a half of them still but it didnt bother me much, i hope those days will come when i can get two screens, become a pro and crash pokerstars
