Hobby winning 1/2 Live player socially isolated.
35+ yo.
Haven't played online in 3 years. Never really beat online poker.

I need to fill my time and keep practicing my game so I figured I should play online again.

I have no poker friends. Everything I know about poker I learned myself. I tried to get involved on 2+2 a few years ago but gave it up.

Goal: start with 40€ deposit. Build it up to 200NL zoom.
I could deposit more and start higher but I like the challenge.

I figure I will edit this thread starter later, for now I could reeeaaalllyy use your advice on the fundamentals. I feel like online poker has changed quite a bit in the last few years and I need any advice I can get.

For starters, here are a few questions I have:

- How many tables of zoom should i play?
- How much volume?
- What should I be studying?
- How can I make this thread attractive to smart players who are willing to share advice?

Thanks!

In general for improvement I wouldn't recommend playing more than 2 tables.

Your other questions are basically impossible to answer. I think RIO just made their essential plan free for a while, so something like that or the upswing lab might be worth looking into.

I suggest sharing more about what you're doing and getting feedback + doing some searching on your own, rather than asking extremely general questions.

Personally, I also would suggest depositing 100-150 and starting at 5nl instead of 2nl, but the approach of starting small and studying a lot is a good one.
