Around 700$, so I'm on a shot atm.
I think I got alot more mature thinking about the game than many other regs at these stakes, but as they often play too tight (or too loose but its like one stab giveup) I might play too loose and make -ev bets thinking they are thinly +ev, maybe so much that I'm no better than them, just alot more cooler in my playstyle!!!
I need to get a big sample, without it I'm not smart enough to tell. Definitely trying my hardest to think through everything and try to realize what is variance and what is poor play, this is why poker is so hard obv.
If I get to NL100 I definitely want to think about hiring a coach who I think is so good that I can somewhat blindly trust in what he teaches.

Just got from playing first shot of NL30, started bad but ended good:

29/7 passive looking guy. Can be all sort of TP hands and better and straight and flushdraws. Got very dissapointed that it wasnt a draw as the big 3bet shove led me to strongly believe. Anyway nothing I can do here.

Somewhat agro 42/10 fish. So often he can just try to get split to fold on board like this, or he has 7x as well, thought he wont fold river even when he doesnt have the board beat with that little left. I think its good shove on the river, not even that thin.

Some 36/30 LAG, I think its unlikely he would cold flat 3bet with AA, KK or AK, QQ.
Putting him on some weird hand hes trying to outplay me with or 99-JJ, maybe AQs.
Thinking it might be some suited connector or something a little bit because of dynamics, I played a set vs him very tricky a little before this and got some value from total air, so he might wanna "pay me back" or something. So I think he might have AA, KK more than AK, QQ.
Hes reraising very many flops with decent sample, both in normal and 3bet pots, and these people tend to be very unbalanced in it, geared towards bluffs super heavily. So I think shove is profitable here.

Same LAG as before, standard from me and nothing wrong with his play also imo. With agro dynamics why not play AA which is like the nuts this way. I might empty the clip here with missed draws etc.

Lost some more last month, but not that much after RB.
Putting my last moneyz on the poker account, I cant bare being absent from atleast NL20 action. Much freetime and poker is something worth putting my time in..
I was seriously contenplating just playing NL10, but nah. I'll do NL30 a little if I feel theres good tables and/or I'm playing very well and confident.
Mostly I'll do NL20 and some NL10 if I just wanna play tired or put mindless volume etc.

Anyway I need to work on my game a ton, I'm not nearly as good as I sometimes think I am.. Because of this I wanna have a serious amount of buyins for the stake I'm mainly playing. So I can kinda experiment with different plays etc. Not excatly sure how many BI's I have atm for NL20 but its somewhere around 35.
I lost 9bi in only one 3,5h NL20 session (4tabling) few days ago, without tilting at all and not much questionable plays either, all I can say is that its one of the sickest sessions in a while if not ever for me.
Today though, I had good NL20 session and got really happy about it!! Only +4bi, but still! I tend to play shorter sessions when I'm winning anyway.

Both oppos are regs, was leaning towards folding but then the UTG unexpectedly called, which is even more scary than the 2x cold 4bet so I thought I might as well setmine with QQ 100bb deep, lol.

First visit to NL30 and result: -5,5bi!
Got into many super hard spots, few times with almost 200bb's deep etc.
I ended up playing quite tilted the end of that session, so much that I can put like 1 buyin lost coz of tilt, which is obviously not acceptable.
After that session I've played NL30 couple times more and got few buyins back, so month is still around BE.

Sup me? Nothing much.. except, WINNING!

Got this tigerblood running in my veins which makes me unstoppable! Ok, enough!!
Gotten good amount of hands in this month, around 20k already.
Today I started playing on Ipoker, as Ongame is just crashing always and way too annoying to play in. Also bigger RB doesnt hurt!
Anyway games are not as soft, so hopefully my winrate doesnt suffer too much.
Also been playing on FIN site RAY, which is also working on playtech (ipoker) software, but its a seperate network. Faced really good run there, up like 10 buyins in 3 sessions or so (NL10 & 20). Dunno for sure as HEM doesnt work there and no HUD also..
If I can get through this month without taking any stupid tilt shot or making some horrible tilt donations on the tables, then I wanna reward my self by buying something nice! Half of month done, but been running well lately so lets see if I can make it to the finish line.
Also gotta say its not like I'm up alot or anything, but still this is looking bright after long time of BE/losing.

Going to play PS3, Heavy rain now. First really addicting PS3 game I've stumbled upon!
Uncharted 2 was kinda close but not quite there! This ones just sick! cU

On like 35-40bi upswing on last about 20k hands, havent seen much loosing sessions lately!!
Too bad the stakes are not that high, NL10-20€ - NL10-30$, but still very sick!
Its a great feeling after struggling for so long, seeing I can actually win with my playstyle.
Not able to post hh's lately as 90% of my play has been on RAY-poker where HEM doesnt work.
I'm gonna be taking shots to NL50$ soon, so my play will probably shift more towards ongame again.

Also ordered The Mathematics of Poker, will be interesting to see if I can get anything out of it, as its supposed to be a hard read. Never read a poker book before, but heard too much good about this one, to be able to ignore it.

Failed in my goal to not tiltshot the very last day of the month!
Didnt manage to do any damage to my BR gladly and quickly got my self together by reviewing previous hands from that session and reasoning with my self. So only tiltshotted about 50 hands of NL200 this month, next month the same goal, 0 hands of stakes where my BR is not sufficient.

Other than that I had a tiny bit over BE month, after RB, on sites that HEM tracks. But on RAY-poker my run has continued to be totally sick, so this was a good poker month for me! I only wish I were rolled for those NL50€ and NL100 games there.

Havent put any hh's in a long time, so heres some from last session:

Maybe the only interesting hand. The river betsize decision that is. 58/14 agro fish. Could also bet like 3€? and hope hes bluffing over it often enough with those many missed draws, and getting value from TT, KQ and such.
Or then just shove, hoping he has something like that or Ax, shove is gonna get called with the same range as 3/4 pot bet I feel like, so I like my play here. Prolly this is the good std sizing here and with right reads about his bluffing tendencys and gameflow could sway towards inducer? All this is hugely feel based thinking, but still!
EDIT: Oh, wait now that I think of it, hes reraising with all of those hands to inducer bet, that would call a shove. I'm sooooooooooooooo bad at this game
So next time on this spot, small bet it is!!

Anyway started the month with 2,5bi winnings!

Nice start for the month, and play in new network (Entraction) although maybe only temporarily stay there. I wanna try out pokerstars, if theres fair amount of fishes then I think I'll be happy to play there. RB should be ok, with little less rake taken than in many other sites and 600$ first deposit bonus, should get to that silver star or something very quickly playing NL50, which is 27% or so RB..

Anyway this is my Entraction NL20€ start:

Very small sample, but redline seems to be raising nicely, maybe because of the big amount of multitabling nits and less fish than in ongame.

Today I had session, where afterwards looking at the hands I was very happy with my plays! Lost 4bi insta to setups etc, but recovered and stayed calm and ended up winning almost a buyin.

The fish from first hand 60/27. Wanna see flop vs him this deep with this hand as I've seen him make some big spews. I had seen him pot with trash bottom pair and continue turn with pot, but if I remember correctly also saw that with good hands before this. I just wanna take control of the hand OOP so small 1/2 pot reraise and on the turn I'm betting so that he will fold those trash hands and maybe hes even flouting with some strong Ax hands and also to make pot bigger if I hit as I dont see him folding AT or JJ etc to river shove if I hit my flush to some good card and ofc I have even 2 overs.

Vs some 21/14 reg whos look'd kind of fishy. Not passive postflop.
Dunno if I can call the turn reraise profitably. Could also check call turn, but liked bet, as hes the type who can call 2nd with worse Qx and like TT with club or something..

He folded river after long tanking so maybe some weak Qx?

Same reg, I guess raw stats can give the wrong impression about someone!
Very likely he made that play, coz he views me as some big LAG and probably saw some big bluff from me somewhere and overthinked my stats etc. (very high 3bet at that point and agression etc)
Also I looked carefully on the river, if he has made many call opens as its too thin if hes only calling with KQ+ (QJs?) and pockets? Dont expect to get herocalled like this often. But he had kinda wide looking calling range, but over smallish sample, but anyway I decided to go for 3rd.

And the famous fish, would have had to call river pot or anything smaller I think. On that kind of good card that is.
But was thinking about folding on the turn, as he was pretty well balanced in his bluff to value ratio, so this is somewhat marginal spot, that could be folded?

I should prolly go running a bit, and make that as habit, now that the snow (and ice!!) is starting to vanish from the ground! Exercising is something thats prolly gonna be beneficial in poker as well!

Unknown fish. He might have hard time folding Qx, shouldnt fold 8x, overpairs, straight, worse flush. Nice call!

random 24/10 or smth like that at the time over 15-20 hands.. Not the most credible line buddy! Also his timing was so fast that I would only believe that its K of clubs and nothing else hes valuebetting, and so unlikely he would donk it, no matter what kind of player he is imo.

Random agro fish. Shouldnt worry about Qx that much, flush or nothing pretty much. Once again if he had like AQ or smth that he donked turn, the timing on the river was too fast for it, i think.

                                      Hi all!

Felt like its time to revive this thread, so thats what I'm doing!

Quick report from the time that I wasnt blogging:
Been playing the micros ranging from NL20-100. Swingy times like always, but overall I've been winning moderately.
I was not playing poker for over a month. Around the time when I ended blogging, because of real life happenings and me tilting too much, so really needing a break from poker.
Looking at it now, I'm sure it was the right thing to do.

I was also playing staked for 3month period, thats when some of the NL100 play happened, although only for little over 10k hands. Could have stayed being staked and continuing NL100, but felt like NL50 with my own roll and the freedom of playing for your self is better (I'm sure many of you who have been staked know what I mean).
Also I was playing NL50 more anyway, while being rolled for 100 because of the juicier tables at 50 many times. Table selecting is one of the easiest things to do in poker and is so so crucial to your winrate tbh!

And most recently I'm facing the sickest DS of my "career", which is motivating me to improve my game more than ever, one thing being blogging. Not to forget theres other goods sides to blogging as well!
Anyway about the downswing, I lost 27bi in 7k hands, which is just beyond unbelievable without spewing huge on mad tilt or something. The positive is that the stake was only NL20$, which I dedided to grind with 50-60bi BRM! Started with around 80, bit funny that all those bi's were so needed! I really though I can just go and crush NL20 for a while and get big confidence and bankroll boost from there. But obviously thats a ridiculous thing to assume in poker. Just on the last days I got the downhill run to end, winning about 5bi on the last 3k hands.
I'm thinking if I should go on and continue grinding NL20 still, maybe its most reasonable since I kinda wanna prove that I can beat this rigged limit!! Not to mention the actually logical arguments !

Anyway I kinda lost my train of thought while writing this at work and the damn customers disturbing me , so I'm probably making 2nd part "back to blogging" post while at home, and getting more things out of my chest!
