Hello poker community,

iŽve been playing poker in my spare time for several years now. Definitly down some medium 4 digit amount at the moment, but i have accepted that. I still have some weird love/hate connection to the game and i just cant imagine stopping and never playing again.
Anyway iŽve had some on/off times and currently iŽm playing nl50z on Stars. It started off pretty decent in the first 40k hands, but eventually i reached a BE stretch for 20k hands and then some pretty hard downswing which puts me now in a position of like 10BI+ after 80k hands.

I would like to use this platform to post and double check and discuss some hands. Also im currently trying to fix some blind leaks, because my WR is ridicolously bad. If you guys could recommend some decent preflop charts/ranges for blind defence i would appreciate that.

WeŽll see if i manage to move up the stakes a little. But i will only do that if i beat NL50 above 3bb/100 on 100k+ hands.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask

First two seem fine, I'm probably taking the free river and giving up in h3. And q4 seems like a poor choice of hand for that defend

Yeah that would also be reasonable ofc. You would do that as you have some SD value with the 4? At least we block 44, right?
Also villain is a reg and he snapped me off. I guess with AQ it is a pretty standard call down, but i felt like he assumes iŽm overbluffing. But maybe he folds some A8, A9 type of hands.

I would say call sometimes, 4 bet sometimes?! Personally iŽm mixing it up in those spots. I mean BB-3bet-ranges tend to be a little tighter and iŽm really not sure if it is a profitable call if we get jammed on.
But i guess you suggest that i would always extract more value against his range with a 4bet?!

Hand 6?? Do we just assume he has a FH here? I think some KQ, AJ could be taking this line. Plus it’s a double FD board.

Yes or plain tripps. I think AJ is fairly unlikely. Against KQ we are pretty much dead or do you wanna turn QQ into a bluff on the river (he is probably snapping off with a straight anyway no matter the river).

He surely does have some draws betting like this, but it is very rare imo.
IŽm not sure if there is a chance that he plays AA or KK like this, but either way the fold doesnŽt get worse i guess.

I did some range specific reviews today in my PT DB.
Im not sure though if my sample size is big enough yet for that kind of analysis.

I looked at medium suited connectors and one gappers from BTN and CO.
Range: 65s+ - T9s & 75s – T8s
Action pre: i 3bet
Pos: BTN -> 68 hands -> -140BB
Pos: CO-> 31 hands -> BE

Action pre: i flat
Pos: BTN -> 107 hands -> -110BB
Pos: CO -> 17 hands -> BE

any opinions on this kind of filtering? i mean the number of hands is very low in each spot, so i guess the BB-result is totally insignificant. I just thought i should be able to show a profit with that range in these spots even after only 20 hands+. If not i shouldnŽt play them at all or differently.

any opinions? river is prob a fold but i can def see some bluffs. i just dont like the Q on the board because it gives villain some pairs, so he has SD value and will prob check back the river.

Im not sure if someone is still going to reply here, but nonetheless i will give it a try. Im currently trying to figure out, how i can construct i "balanced" range from CO and BTN vs SB and BB 3bets. I know there are ranges out there that i could use and i know it depends on the 3bet% from villains. I just want to really get behind the theoretic fundamentals by constructing a range for that spot.
So lets say i OR to 2.5bb and villain 3bets to 10bb. I guess pot odds donŽt really matter at this point right?
So next step for me is to assign a 3bet range to villain. Lets just say approx. 10%: 88+, ATs+, KTs+, QJs, AJo+, KQo
How much am i supposed to fold to not get exploited immediately? How much equity should my calling range have vs. his 3bet range? (So i donŽt 4bet too much and turn my callling range too weak) Im unsure of the fundamentals here.

Appreciate any comments on that but i would prefer some specific explanations and not links to other threads, because i just want to talk and discuss the topic here to get the most out of it.
