This is about my 4th time attempting a PG&C thread, and hopefully this can be the one that I actually stick to. I've been playing PLO2 and PLO5 over the past few weeks on ACR, and want to really take a shot at beating these games (and moving up) over the long term. I've realized that during my years playing poker I've always been in for the short term, looking to run it up and strike it rich quick, which is obviously the completely wrong way of looking at the game. My goal for this thread is to keep myself accountable and play within my bankroll.

I plan to be logged into this thread EVERY SINGLE TIME that I play a session, so I can keep track of my thoughts on my play. I'm hoping that this will keep me more accountable and keep me from trying to move up too fast (which is how I busted my last bankroll ...).

I am starting with $100 on ACR, and plan to start at PLO5 6-Max. I realize this is only 20 buy-ins, and if I drop below $75 I will go back to PLO2 until I'm back to $100. My plan is to start shot-taking PLO10 once I have $300 (30 buy-ins), and then continue to move up from there, while progressively increase the number of buy-ins I have for each stake (40 @ PLO25, 50 @ PLO50, etc.).

My current job contact ends on 5/15 and I am off until 8/1, so I have some time to put in a pretty serious grind. My goal from now until 5/15 is to play 10,000 hands per week - which I will keep track of here (I have PT4 and will post graphs). Once I start my summer break I plan to play full time and hope to play 20,000 hands per week or so.

Will post some graphs soon, starting the grind with a session tonight!

Playing 2 tables on PLO5 right now ... I'm relatively new to online and I think that sticking with 2-4 tables is ideal for me. Not sure how people play any more than that, it just gets to hectic for me and I start just clicking buttons!

That's a good question, I suppose that I will find out! I do get 27% RB from ACR which helps.

Played 549 hands, think I played pretty solid overall. Throughout my play I've been trying to right down different spots that I continue to have trouble with. Just kind of random musings that I plan to look into.

1) Big pairs like QQxx JJxx in the small blind. 1-2 limpers to me in the SB, should I be raising out of the SB? Only if I have suits and am pretty connected? Raising QQ79 there, if I don't flop a set I have to check-fold whenever I don't hit a set.

2) OOP with the nut flush draw (but no straight draws). When to lead / when to check. When I'm checking and it checks through, if the flush hits on the turn I'm never getting paid when I lead out on the turn. Should I be looking to build these pots by leading flop OOP? Getting x/r'd sucks with just the nut flush draw and no other outs though.

About to fire up a short session this morning before heading to work. Will udpate later!
