Hi 2+2, my name is Stefano, i'm from Italy, and from this year i will play on Stars.com from London, grinding my way to SNE.

Since it's a very difficult task, i figured it out that open a goal thread on the biggest poker community will help me to keep my motivation steady, and also will give me the chanche to know some of ".com regs" since i only know people that plays on .it room.

A little bit about me.

Im 20, as i said im from Italy (so forgive me for my unperfect english), i started play poker at 17 with micro sit n go, but i switched soon to 6max NL.
Started from 2nl, i went up 50nl in a few months, till a bad period both in poker and real life came, so i quitted poker for a while, till the CashGame arrived on .IT room, in July 2011 (before there were only Sit and Mtt, italian weird law).
Most of the italian PPP were sitngo or mtt grinder, very few people's knew how to play cash, so it was a great opportunity.
I restarted from 10nl with a 200€ bankroll, and in 1 month i was again at 50nl.
In december 2011 i move up at 100nl, and here i decide that grinding was my job, and this also helped:



So 2012 was my first year of full time grinding; I was used to play few tables, and in the year i played something like 500k hands, not so much, but i did a lot coaching.
Unfortunately the year, after a great start, ended up kinda bad.
With coaching and some affiliations i managed to do a 40k or so year, that was not so bad for the first year, considering that i lived with my parents till november.




In november i moved to Tenerife in Canary Islands, joining to a group of grinder.

In 2013 i decided to start massgrinding, and i achieved the max status on GD Poker in 8 month (ongame Italian site), around 110k€ of rake, playing mostly 200nl, with some 100nl and 400nl.
But several troubles came out during the grinding on .it.
The most important was the action, that was slowly diyng. I had to grind at specific hours to find action, and that's not great.
Everyone grinds 200nl and some 400nl, moving up was impossible, and the same 200nl was full of reg that can't move up because there was no action, with the consequence of a field not so easy to beat with the .it rake (5.5%, 3,25 cap).

So, 2013 is another bad year for me, i did half of the money i planned to make, and the fault is mostly mine, i played very bad in some period.
I don't have the full graph of the 2013, its in my pc in ita and i forget to save the graph with all the other graph (i have a lot of graph, im kinda addicted lol) but i have the months graphs. July graph is missing, don't know why, probably i thought that saving a -17k month graph wasn't great lol.




From here to December i played very few hands on Ongame and on Stars.it zoom, working a lot on my game.
And now it's the present.

Since .it seems to don't like me lol, i decide to move on .com, where i can have all the action i want, at the stakes that i want. And, most important, i have the Zoom.
That's what im going to grind in 2014.
I think zoom is great, beacuse you only have 4 or 6 tables, but you can make insane volume. And you can also start and quit as you like, since you dont have to open new tables every time you start.
So, on 30 November, i took a plane to London, and here i am.
After a few weeks, now i have a house, a new pc setup, an account on .com with all the documentation needed, and im ready to start.
I have already grind some zoom since im here, with decent result:




2014 plan is to make at least SNE, but if i can i'd like to do more, like 250k$ rake, it depends on how much time i'm gonna need for a level up.
I will start with 4 tables of 200nl, and 2 tables of 100nl. This way i'm raking around 100$/hr.
I have to rebuild my bankroll because coming here was not cheap, i had to pay 9 month upfront for the house, and i had to buy eveything, from the PC to the kitchen equipment.
With a minimum of 3 session/day with 200$ rake per session, its 18k$ rake/month = 10 month for SNE, 11 assuming that i will not play every single day.
So i will start with this plan, than gonna change it if needed, based on result etc.

Here there is a video that i made after the semptember's promotion, with a lot of crazy HH.
The month ended up really bad, but as the video show, i had a lot of fun lolol, a very expensive amount of fun.

I will try to update the 3d regularly, posting hands mostly, and weekly or monthly graph.
As you can see from the graph, the result tell that maybe im not a great player, but that red line also tell that i am kinda funny player so hopefullt this won't be a boring 3d

Some funny hands this session.

This one is vs fish. Flop minraise to induce, look like it worked. Im calling river even without the 2pair jolly, probably folding on A river (fish usually are scared of an A even if the A is not really in my range in this spot, or it is but im not A heavy here, but again is a fish and he dont think about it 2 much)






Here is pretty std i guess vs unknown fish till the turn.
That size on the turn make me think that he almost always have an overpair, scared by the board, so i call planning a donkshove on a good straight river.
Im not shoving if i take my 8, cause he is going to fold close to 100%, im probasbly betting 1/3.
Im shoving J too cause im never good with that pair. Queen im C/f, sometimes I beat JJ, but he is not folding aces and kings to the donkshove i guess.

If you start calling any spot then its easy for me to adjust and stop bluffing and starting to barrel depolarized, so that would be a leak.
