Aussie moving abroad - grinding up the stakes! Aussie moving abroad - grinding up the stakes!

Hey guys,

I decided to start a PGC thread to keep myself motivated, to make new friends and to hopefully crush all the stakes online!

A little bit about myself:

My name is Nick and I am 26 years old. Since legislation in Australia caused online poker to be banned, I have since moved to London to play poker full time. I have been playing poker for about 6 years recreationally but have always been interested in pursuing it full-time and here we are!

I will be primarily playing 6-max NL regular tables and some ZOOM on Pokerstars. I will also play tournaments from time-to-time especially if its on a Sunday and if its during a online series like SCOOP. The stakes I will be playing will be 25NL+.

Current graph of 25NL

Bankroll Management:

$0-$2000 = 25NL
$2000-$5000 = 50NL
$5000-$10000 = 100NL
$10000-$20000 = 200NL

Goals:

[ ] 200 hours of poker per month
[ ] 125K hands per month
[ ] Reach 200NL by end of this month

BR: $1777.58

I will be trying to update this as much as possible (hopefully multiple times a week)! Feel free to ask any questions and hopefully see you at the tables!

Hey man, nah I have savings from prior when working full time. Just giving this a shot cause it’s my dream but if all fails, I have taken my degrees, certs, etc with me here. I don’t think I’ll ever stop playing poker, probably just not full time until I can.

Gl then man, maybe try playing live on the side to support playing online until you hit like 50nl/100nl?

Even playing like 10-15 hours a week is going to be like a free +$500-1k depending on what stakes u play
