Guys, I live in the sticks. My online poker (and 2p2 posting) has been mostly iPad based as there has been NO actual internet available in my area whatsoever since I moved here (wife's home town). Northern MI FWIW.

But guess what my friends?!

THAT recently CHANGED!!!! The web is here! I feel like it's time to party like it's 1999.

I have become quasi-friends with the UPS driver. He was at my place darn near every day the last two weeks as he delivered all of my new tech equipment-- I say it vague like that because without the net... what was the point of buying a decent computer, monitors, webcam, mic.. anything.

Welp... bought all that now (and more) .....and truly, I feel like a kid in a candy store. Idk how I've lived this long without these things. Or why I did-- Not Amish BTW

Due to my crappy internet-- I never really jumped into this community as I've really always wanted to.

I've been playing poker pretty seriously for a decade and professionally for the last two years. I've not played a live game; like most of you, since the pandemic started. Fortunately, I had enough life roll to live right throughout.

Seems like we'll be back playing live poker in MI before too terribly long and I am still playing on Global which could change due to my ability to work on the 'download' sites with my recent computer purchase.

Mostly... just wanted to say hey. I'm happy to be here and excited about the future.
