Hello fellows

I lifted my 11$ buy-in limit for MTTs, and will finally play all PLO and Mixed MTTs up to 55$ directly, and shot-take the 109$ to 215$ events that are left during SCOOP.


I started Poker in 2008, focused on PLO and Mixed since 2010, and was backed to play all stakes from 2012 to 2016.

Managed to hit a few 5-figure scores in PLO, one in 10-game on Full Tilt, plus an 88th place in the sunday million anniversary.

In 2015, i even had the pleisure of trash-talking, bluffing and showing, and then busting Phil Hellmuth in the €2k 8-game WSOPE Berlin.



When Full Tilt finally got closed in 2016, PokerStars also reduced it's offerings of my variants, and due to three big problems in private life, we decided to end the backing-deal, despite current $6k make up.
We both still been up 5-figures, nevertheless.

Aside of some nlhe satellite gambling, i didnt grind seriously for many years.
Then i had a phase were i played 6+ holdem 25$ cash-games, but when grinding this extremely boring (except maybe for slots addicts), repetitive and dull game for 1600$ bonus per month, it literally gave me a mental breakdown, and i quit poker for many months.
And so but anyway...


In february this year, i smoothly wanted to grind some PLO and Mixed again, and busted a few 20-50€ deposists.

In march, i deposited 20€ more, and won three micro MTTs on the same day. One PLO KOmania, one 8-game and one HORSE.
Then i went on a real heater in satellites and target events, shipping the 55$ 8game octopus, two 109$ PLO KOmanias on saturday and sunday, and cashed two of three 530$ PLOs that i satellited into, all within March.

Downswing April, but lately, 11$ got me into 1050$ stud8 SCOOP where i made 5th for about 3500$.

Many terrible days after that, like losing Heads Up for 5200$ PLO highroller ticket and such, but i never give up during a xCOOP.



Today is the HORSE 11$/109$/1050$, and i'll add at least the 22$ Badugi.

Been a very rough, but at least also short day.

Made 4th in two 11$ to 1050$ HORSE, busted the two 11$ to 109$ HORSE and Badugi, same as the 11$ and 109$ HORSE, both for two bullets. 22$ Badugi went down the drain rather quickly, too.

Also busted 55$ 8-game and 11$ PLO KOmania early.

Am very tired, and will relax and get a lot of sleep before tomorrow's PLO 5card and 8-Game Events.
Will play both Low and Medium Events for sure, and maybe get into at least one High, too.

And then there is basically just the PLO Main Events on saturday left, which are huge.

Not too excited about monday's small NLHE/PLO events.

Only thing that is missing in the story are my extreme fake-tells i used in the LHE hand, to make Phil fold flop.
I intentionally started to breath heavily, stared at the dealers box, and tried to give off every vibe of being super excited in general, and it worked out. Phil loves to do odd folds...

I called JTo in BB vs his btn, and checkraised flop on AK3 and made him fold, then showed. Not a huge pot, or so. Just for the giggles.

Made the responsible decision to skip the 109$ 5card PLO in favour of 8-game satellites today.

Must admit that i have few experience in 5card, aside of sometimes playing a 7.50$ daily pko, and some 50$ cash-games ~10 years ago.


Playing 11$ 5card PLO, 22$ 8-Game and 215$ 8-Game SCOOPs today.
No satellites to the 2100$ 8-Game, because yesterdays 1050$ already had a very strong field, and my bankroll is getting a bit tight...

But will play satellites to 530$ HORSE on saturday, and then fire whatever i have left for the series in satellites to 1050$ and 5200$ PLO Main Events on sunday.

Oh noez... I lost it all

Satellites, same as 11$ 5card PLO, two bullets in 22$ 8-game and the 215$ 8-game...
Bad beats have been involved


But...after 90 minutes break... it was a new day, and i had new 800€ daily limit free to play for the day... (installed this limit on tuesday / been less than 25% of my roll, with 4 days of SCOOP left. Makes perfect sense, right?)

Fired 11$ mystery SCOOP, 55$ turbo pko SCOOP, 44$ hyper holdem, 11$ to 1k NLHE Main Event.... But i lost it all...

Instead of going mad, i calmly made third place single tabling the NLO8 hyper KOmania for 289$ total, and then ran hot single-tabling 20$ nlhe spins, winning 40$ cash, a 55$ SCOOP ticket, and a 215$ ticket.



The overlays in the micro satellites to the High Events have been huge in all non-nlhe, usually in between 60-300%.
I fired more than 10 bullets in some of them, and other regs have been making jokes already, but if its winner takes all with huge overlay, you wanna shove 40% all day to get a big stack, or re-enter another bullet thats worth more than twice what you pay, obviously.

And so but anyway


Looks like i'll have +2750$ left after SCOOP, and thats all i need to play up to 55$ daily 8game pko, and PLO KOmania, because fieldsizes are tiny - while nearly all other games are 22$ or lower - and despite the fact that knockouts reduce variance, first place in tiny field pko's often give +150% more for first than for second place, which not only suits my style of play, but also makes me gay... Just kidding

Smoked some legally bought Weed with 10% THC, and 6% CBD... Not too shabby, i can say


I will seriously "study" how to play pot-limit Badugi today, when i woke up.
Already registered the 55$ Side Event at midnight, and will excel with perfect sizings and a very nitty style pre, and maniacal style after second draw, i guess.

Grinded 50c/1$ FL Badugi whenever i was feeling dizzy in my old grinding days, and can surely extrapolite some concepts over to Pot Limit and MTT format.

Unfortunately busted 55$ PL Badugi vs sooOOOoosick, a friendly high-stakes reg, who twice went all-in preflop with me with a worse hand, but he got there both times.

For the second last time until WCOOP, i will play NLHE MTTs today.

In an hour, i will play a 109$ to 1050$ NLHE Main Event, which i will score, because im very good at satellites.

And the 215$ NLHE side event that is perfect for me. Small field of 300 players guaranteed, 8max, turbo, progressive ko, and deepstacked start. I will simply initially get super lucky there and win about 350$ before bubbling it, i think

215$ NLHE deepstacked pko 8max:

I pulled a nice river-bluffraise vs a capped range, without any blockers, and been at 100bb after half an hour.
CO opens 2.2bb, and i flat AKs, because i dont cover him, but both blinds.
Flop is KJ7ss, but not my suit. I call half pot, and we see an offsuit 8 on the turn.
He check-minraises my b55, and i start losing the plot... Started to think of bluffs he could have, but he surely wouldnt do that with QT for oesd, or a flushdraw, except maybe with QTs...
KQ was possible, but also KJ twopair.
Ofc he made the hidden str8 with T9, which i should have known after playing so much short deck some years ago, but didnt think of that hand, until i called, and an ace hit the river.
He bets half pot again, and i stupidly call there, despite the fact that i feel like 90% sure to be beat there, except vs KJ...

Lost 109 to 1k Main on absurdly tough table, for a friday during SCOOP. Toppair vs Set...


Going all in tomorrow, firing 800€ in horse satellites and events, plus some day savers like 55$ 8game octopus pko, 22$ stud8 stable and 16,50$ PLO hot KOmania, and same price stud8.

I wont mind if i end SCOOP down 2k, but i couldnt forgive myself, if i skipped anything juicy.
Intend to not play satellites to 5200$ PLO, but maybe fire one of them, if saturday ends really well, or really bad.

Bad News...

Busted 55$ NLHE Supersonic ITM with 66 vs A2 and 53o for second in chips pot.

No more NLHE until WCOOP.

Didnt ship a 25$ PLO Spin for 125$, and also missed a 215$ ticket, and a 55$ ticket in 20$ NLHE spins.

Not to mention the three bullets in the 55$ NLO8 hyper KOmania, where i lost 56% hu, 62% hu, and 48% 3way on last bullet...

Hence why it was time to decide to cut the losses...

I'm not sure if its bad for my mental when doing it, but when i calculate every bullet as a loss, my bankroll after sunday would only be 1640$...

That'd mean that i have to rebuild without the 55$ daily 8game and PLO pko's, first of all...

But that doesnt mean that i wont fire 1k the next 48 hours!

But you cant Change the skript that's been written. You can simply perform as good as you can, and hope that it gets you into the right direction for the next movie.

Didnt win a ticket for 530$ HORSE with the two 55's.

Missed oesd plus flushdraw, being super live with my outs on 6th and 7th in big 3way pot during Stud Hi.
Then i lost QQ-7 vs 88-J with another Jack being dead.

Second bullet, i ran really well in LHE, just to lose every Razz hand, and then ran into AA-2 in Stud Hi, with my TT-9, to bust it.


Am super calm and focused, and have a very good feeling for the 22$ and 109$ in half an hour.

Busted both HORSE Events running into impossible hands, and missing all draws in all variants, no matter how live they were.

More than two hours break, but will play another short session with a 22$ to 215$ PLO, and the first 109$ to 1050$.


Slightly change plan for tomorrow, in favor of 82$ HORSE and 44$ 8game, instead of maxing out the 109 to 1k ones.

Starting with a new Regiment on tuesday, where i only eat beef, fish, eggs, veggies, cashew nuts and blueberrys, and have no alcohol, caffeine or weed from tuesdays to sundays.
On monday's, i will two energy drinks, visit friends, drink a sixpack, smoke weed, and try to find MILFs in a local bar.

Feel fairly sure that i'll get my roll above 6k again, before WCOOP starts, no matter what.

Things that i'll change during WCOOP, and on my way there, compared to this SCOOP:

- No more NLHE aside of powerpath for tickets

- Skip all Razz, LHE and Badugi Events

- Play as few NLO8 and PLO8 as possible

- Live like a monk and grind from tuesdays to sundays, but real life spazz every monday



The overlays in satellites have been huge, and im sure to have an edge/positive ROI at High Events in Stud8, PLO and NL 2-7 SD when entering early enough, as well as in HORSE and 8game...
But aside of Stud8, and PLO Main Events, my real ROI would most likely just be 3-10%.
Nevertheless, impossible to skip those huge overlay direct micro satellites, or to play tight in them.

Im calm, but more pissed than when i made second place to 5200$ PLO highroller.

Guy on my direct left has 185bb, and 3bet KKQ6r on btn, being 167bb effective, calling 16bb on river of A267A...
I have 231bb.

Guy two on my left got it in for 200bb pot with ATxx and not a single front or backdoor draw on AKTss, and he has 120bb atm.

Lost Wrap for 57%% 3way aiotf in reraised Pot, for by far the chipleader pot vs naked rainbow aces, and some mouthbreather with Queens...

I have position on a 189bb stack, whose graph looks like a loser, who got very lucky two times.
Last hand yesterday, i 3bet my 52bb stack in sb vs his min btn open with K7s to 9bb, and he 4bets to 21bb...
On the extremely tilted mood ive been on, i called, but totally whiffed a small cards flop, and check-folded.
That might add a nice dynamic for today. Just need to double up through him 3 times, to get to top 20 in chips...

Should i manage to make day 3, that'd mean about 1300$, at least, putting my roll well above 2k, allowing me to fire at least the 55$ 8game directly again.
