Sportsgambling is mos def rigged...
Done with that for next two years, for sure.

Guess i'll soon make a medium sized deposit on PS, about 350$, which still leaves me with 15 stacks for live PLO.

Will be adjusting schedules day by day, but not play too high online, and likely quit the live PLO, if i dont run well over the next two weekends, or so.
Maybe i buy MAGA trump coins for 1k then, if its currently dipping...

At least my diet is going very well. Already lost 5kg - from 119 to 115kg - by eating close to zero real carbs, zero alcohol and taking long daily walks in the forest, for 6 days now.
Chin up and push up numbers nowhere close to be mentionalbe, so far...

Been running terrible since April, but i feel great now, nevertheless. Guess my body finally went into ketose, which usually takes 3-5 days after you stop eating carbs.

On thursday, my uncle is in town, who is also a big cardplaying fan, but he prefers playing Skat.
Surely gonna have a good time, having a smoke of some Gorilla Glue, and shooting the ****.

Huge storm pulling up here, waking me up right after i fell asleep. Chairs on balconies are flying around, causing terrible noise...

If i get to sleep again soon, this will be my schedule today, after depositing 330$:

2.20$ PLO
2.20$ to 22$ PLO KOmania
5.50$ 6card PLO pko
2.20$ PLO KOmania
4.40$ HORSE
7.50$ PLO Omania
7.50$ 8-Game
5.50$ to 55$ 8-Game
5.50$ PLO KOmania
5.50$ NL 2-7 SD SCOOP Afterparty

(Only adding the 22$ NL 2-7 SD, if i didnt reach the new 55$ daily accumulated stop-loss before, or win a seat in a satellite)

Lost about 40$ on thursday, and 55$ today.

My game selection was pretty bad, and once i spazzed so hard in a 7,50$ 8-game, which was my last game left.
I got a disgusting runner runner beat, instead of a huge bounty on my second last table, and then just rage-snap-open-shoved K7s with 40bb in the NLHE round...
And guess what fist-pump-snap-called me,... Ofc AA. On top, i flop and miss a flushdraw.

Nevermind, and head to the live PLO.

Over +4 hours, i didnt get to showdown once, but been able to pull two nice 3barrel bluffs in SRPs - once with the nutflush blocker, and once with a good feeling for villains range - and went home with at least 80€ profit (50c/1€).

Tomorrow, i will play all 2.20$ satellites to 22$ 8-game and 22$ 5card PLO SCOOPs.
Adding the early 3.30$ Stud8, 2.20$ and 3.30$ Stud8 satellites to 22$ daily stable, and ofc the 5.50$ 8game and 5card PLO SCOOP Events.
And as a day saver, i'll play a 7.50$ HORSE.

Perfect day for my last 55$ on Pokerstars, with lots of cheap satellites, big fields, and a day saver (only deposited 150$).

I'm feeling really energized and sharp without carbs and alcohol by now. Get my 10.000 steps in on 6 of 7 days, and since i have such success with it, i thought about Poker, and setting goals, too.
Due to variance in Poker, especially in MTTs, i think the only goal-setting that make sense is regarding playing volume, and monetary results per year.

My volume is no problem, because due to the 4-table cap, i'm already playing long sessions, most of the time.

My monetary Goals for 1st of january of the upcoming years are:

2025 = back above 5.500$ (playing up to 55$ Mixed MTTs, and 50c/1€ live PLO, once a week)

2026 = +22.000$ (playing up to 215$ Mixed MTTs, and 2/5€ limpers PLO in Casino, once a week)

2027 = +55.000$ (adding two 320$, and the 530$ Sunday PLO Highroller, as well as every live PLO MTT of any series that my local Casino offers, up to the rare 1k Events)

2028 = +110.000$ (invest 40k for a month of vegas, playing every 1500$ non-nlhe that runs)

2029 = 2028

2030 = 2028 etc, hahaha

In all seriousness, this time im seriously serious. Perfect nutrition, daily exercise, and good, sober sleep are the foundation.
New found urge to study is building big walls, and my urge to play is through the roof.

Aint nothing to it but to do it.

Enjoying the thread and gl on the goals. You play way above me so will be taking notes if I get to sit with you at the micros and hopefully learning a bit. Any reason you don't play PLO8?

Nice to hear, thank you.

I do play PLO8 sometimes, like during a series, or when the 3.30$ to 33$ PLO8 hot KOmania suits my schedule, but it's a game where you have to play tight preflop, and hardly get any spots to bluff postflop, other than PLO Hi.

I liked NLO8 for a while, but if i dont get bored of playing all the other variants, i'll likely not play much of both of them until a week before WCOOP, i think.

22$ 8game= busted two entries
22$ 5card= busted
3,30$ to 22$ Stud8= stone bubbled

Day-savers busted, too

5,50$ SCOOP Afterparty 5card PLO, i was crushing as chipleader for a long time, over 100x starting stack at peak.
Then they put the new chipleader directly behind me with 4 tables left, and he 3bets about 35%...
After two folds to his reraises, i see him lose nearly half his stack with a terrible preflop hand, and even worse flop decision.
Right after, i get AKT98ds to Ace and King, open my 55bb stack on cut-off to 2.25x, and call his btn 3bet happily.
Flop is T65ss, giving me top-pair with two overs, nutflushdraw, and a nut gutshot.
I check/shove, he calls - still slightly covering me - and shows 86654ts, blocking my flushdraw, and his set holds... Im out 23rd, or so, for 32$.
986$ for first

(To be continued soon...)

I found out that PS is offering 6card PLO cash-games, and promptly decided to play that.

Dedicated the daily 55$ for 5$ tables, and quickly got to 108$, before playing 10$ tables.
Few hours later, i was at 25$ tables with 230$ in my roll. But only by then, i realized that there also is 30-35% more rake for germans, and didnt believe that you can overcome 6.25 instead of 4.5% rake in a game as swingy as 6card.

Hence why i sat at a 200$ table to spin it up to 550$ before leaving the game.
Played about a dozen hands 4-handed with Ilari Sahamies (Ziigmund from full tilt) before he left.
Then i flop top-set, turn nutfulls, but ran into quads...

On top of that, i need to buy a new bike, because my old one's saddle broke off... Would have had to repair several other things on it, too, which wasnt worth it.
That'll cost me a few hundred, further cutting into my roll.

I'll have to stop playing the live PLO, and instead of the usual zero days off online, i'll just be studying different variants for 2-3 hours per day, and look for a new Job.
The mindless accounting Job i currently have is extremly boring, and i need something new.

I'll be taking at least a few days off now, maybe a few weeks.

See you later, folks

I could beat sports betting without knowing anything about sports, just bet against the dumb money in big competitions.

Best sports bets are fight related UFC or boxing imo. Bookies aren't trying to make the most accurate lines they're just trying to divide the action so they guarantee themselves a win. So if tons of stupid money comes in on a team or fighter that's when +EV sports bets appear. For example, do you think the Irish were considering the price for Connor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather before betting? No they didn't care what the odds were they were going to bet on Connor no matter the odds. In big competitions like Mayweather v McGregor or Mayweather v Pacquiao lots of money is going to be bet on these competitions. The line for Mayweather v McGregor came out at like 24-1 and moved to about 4-1 by fight time. If you see the line move in a big competition like that it's generally a good bet to bet against the dumb money. Anytime a national hero goes up against an unlikable a-hole like Floyd people bet with their hearts and bet on who they want to win.

Bet on Jake Paul to beat Mike Tyson in November. That will be a +EV sports bet.

Good luck with everything.

I've bought a new bike, as well as a new laptop. Old one is more than eight years old, and laughably slow. Will still serve well as a back up.

In between the end of this month and mid of July, i will deposit 330$ as my new bankroll, and start playing the below schedule religiously:

14:43 - 3.30$ Stud8
15:09 - 2.20$ to 22$ PLO KOmania
15:13 - 11$ 8-Game
15:33 - 5.50$ 5card PLO PKO
16:43 - 4.40$/7.50$ HORSE
17:05 - 7.50$/16.50$ PLO Omania
17:23 - 7.50$ 8-Game
18:03 - 5.50$ to 55$ 8-Game Octopus PKO
18:10 - 2.20$ to 22$ weekly Limit/Mixed Event
19:01 - 5.50$ 8-Game Octopus PKO
19:05 - 3.30$ to 22$ weekly Limit/Mixed Event
20:05 - 11$ PLO KOmania
22:19 - 16.50$ Stud8

Next step would be getting above 550$, allowing me to play a few 22$ small field Events directly, as well as some shots at bigger PLO satellites.

Diet and no alcohol is working really well. Already lost 9kg, and have zero urge to have a drink.

Tried a new job for a test day, where i was selling fish, but the location has extremly low roofs, especially in the basement. Beeing as tall as i am, i'd likely ruin my back there rather quickly. The boss told me right away, but we agreed on a test day, anyway. Sucked hard.
