Have been putting more and more focus into my mental game lately.
One thing that if you're not doing already and shouldn't be overlooked is taking care of yourself. Making sure you get outside, go for some long walks etc every day if you can. I read recently that walking actually helps with memory, as well as all the other obvious stuff like mood etc. Eat oily fish too, I eat a tin a day lol
Making sure you get outside, go for some long walks etc every day if you can.
In free days had a morning routine to go outside, but Winter is coming , will have to think about how to put extra steps in when I leave. Walking is big part of my job so going from 100 to 0 would not be healthy.
Spoiler:
Easy to tell, which days I was at work and which at poker tables .
Greetings,
Solid week, kept mixing 50nl/100nl and happy to get more and more confident in 100nl. Could not play that much as I had 4/7 days work, also did a IKEA shopping for new height adjustable table for me. Ran not the best but whatever. Got 2nd in 33$ PKO, which i'm upset about because I played HU poorly and left a lot of $ on the table.
Next week will have work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. So Don't expect to put a lot of volume this week. Also have 8 shifts left before I leave my job.
Greetings,
Very low volume week, had 4 shifts which ended up being 50h. Tuesday met an old friend to catch up on things. Thursday played the most but really struggled to focus, very odd, maybe something to do with full moon but never had problems with that. Sunday was tired after having Friday 12h shift and Saturday 14h shift until 11pm.
Played some mtt whenever I felt like I'm not ready or to tired to play cash, had some close results but noting really noteworthy.
Next week will have 3 shifts(Wen Fri Sat) (32h) and will take cat to veterinary on Tuesday. Plan to play at least 10k hands this week.

HH1: Vs Aggro-Fish, really not sure about my thought process here, I guess I was value bluffing.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
HH1: The way I see the donk is it has random air bluffs (like AQ AT or worse) and stuff that wants to get in money now like fd or Jx+. You probably jammed because you planned on not folding later and wanted to deny equity from their random overcard bluffs?
I think that's fine and probs +EV, but you can make more by just calling flop and just letting agg fish do their thing imo. They won't give up the air and will keep spewing, so you can use IP advantage and fact you'll play future streets better than them to gain extra EV

HH2: call is fine I think fish can have worse Ax like you say and even some merge that doesn’t know what to do. I also like going either bigger on flop, or smaller to induce raises / air floats

HH5: like your line and would call then note their hotkey sizes used, 157% on the turn then 136% on the river. There is a reason they picked those sizings so I’d watch for them in future and see if can learn more about how they perceive spots / build ranges
Thanks for inpute @taggsy505 as always much appreciated!
In HH5 I think his hotkey is B150 and he scrolled up because he feels scared from bad river. And then OTR with close to nuts now want to get called more so he scrolls down. Weird because B150-B150 would be the same kinda.
Greetings,
Solid week results wise even when volume is still low. Monday carried the week. On Saturday played 100 euro live PKO which I busted in first 30min getting allin AQo vs 99 vs 77 (covering both) and lost (still salty).
Biggest Win:
HH1: Vs aggro-call happy Reg, had many wild pots vs this guy and this one was one of the last ones.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Biggest Loss/Unlucky:
HH2: Vs Fish, happy to see the shove when I hold the nuts, was hoping for smth like A9 or AJ.

HH3: Vs aggro-fish had a read that he over-bluffs.

Biggest Bluff:
HH4: Vs Aggro-call happy Reg, one of the first hands against this guy. Preflop being this deep and OP vs standard 100bb 3B sizing I think I can defend wider. OTR was trying to target hands like these AK KQ KJ AA imo those make the biggest part of his range by the river.
Spoiler:

Thin value:
HH5: Vs same opponent from HH4 and HH1 (hand happened after HH4 and before HH1), made some adjustments (maybe too much but I think its fine in HU) was targeting A-high tbh.

HH8: Vs gambler, I think roughly once a month random guy joins the table and within 15min-30min his either up 5bi or down 5bi. My all-in score against him was 1:2 AQo vs J3s (lost) AKo vs KTo (won) and then this.

Greetings,
Nice Results in first week as Pro, don't feel like I played the best I could but at the same time felt ill during mid week.
Monday/Tuesday had my last two shifts and then on Wednesday morning gave all my work stuff to be officially done with my job. Wednesday played very little as I felt sick. Thursday is my day off so went on a date with GF, then played live 60€ where I ended being 4/36 for nice profit of 166€. Friday, Saturday, Sunday played more but still wasn't at 100%.
Overall a lot of things to improve for following week like discipline, more structure and less distraction.

HH4: vs Aggro-Fish, looks thin but had a read that 3B/Calls QJo also from BB, so still happy to play for stacks vs this guy.

Biggest Bluff:
HH5: Vs Reg, really not happy with my bluff OTR not so much because I think its bad in theory (I think this combo is fine), but more because I used larger sizing OTT because my plan was to give up OTR, but OTR I changed that plan because I really wanted to win the hand.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Biggest Hero-call:
HH6: Vs Unknow-Reg, even in 4B pot I felt like this spot is over-bluffed because its not that many flush combos or 77 AA, but I think I misunderstood the spot.

Value-Owned:
HH7: Vs Fish but with no reads, imo easy all-in OTR.

Funny Hand:
HH8: Vs S***-Reg, Cold 4B pot and I get raised OTF holding AA lol. No need to rush as its only half pot bet left.

HH9: Vs Aggro-Reg, unluckily for my opponent I had 5 sec time-bank so I could not figure a reason to fold.

Punt:
HH10: Vs Whale, idk what clicked in my brain but for whatever reason I decide to B33 OTT, imo B50-B75 would be much better to also make stacks perfect for river all-in. Even then I think I can go all-in vs Whale. Turning my value hands into bluff catchers vs non aggressive call-happy whale is imho big punt.

Greetings,
Nice Results in 2nd week as Pro, still settling in the new lifestyle and grateful for freedom that I have now.
Monday/Thursday where my free days from poker(only study a bit), these kinda days feels mandatory. Mon/Thu/Sat went to the gym, going to gym 3x a week is my PR in like last 5 years.
Tuesday Wednesday where solid quite days for poker. Friday Saturday Sunday where kinda wild days with good action and lucky outcomes. Something I have implemented and I see instant positive results is playing 5min-15min of 25nl zoom before first session and trying to be very precise with my preflop ranges
A little off my volume goals but original goal of 4 session of 90min per grind day seems a bit too large esp when game only really get good after 5pm. To reach higher tier rakeback (25% to 30%) need to increase my weekly volume by ~20% and if I play 3 session of 90min (5 days a week) it would surpass last weeks 19h of play time.
Also watched 0 Youtube last week, which is probably biggest achievement of the week, because in the first day I tried opening Youtube like 10-20 times.
Overall improved from last week and want to keep improving moving forward... No Youtube/ 3x Gym/ HH review daily/ Study daily. Will play live mtt on Tuesday for fun.
Biggest Win:
HH1: Vs unknow Reg (seen him only at 100nl), feels a bit thin but after he checks back OTR I think I can go for value.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Biggest Loss/Biggest Bluff:
HH2: Vs Reg, not sure about this one as OTR I felt like I could have bluffs that gets there like AK AQ OTT and Im only worried about 99 6x AJ maybe JJ... so river felt like a good card to bluff. Never expected him to have this hand.

Spoiler:
HH1: I like your line. Can also just 33% turn jam river
KK strong enough to play for everything on that flop/turn I think. Small SPR, QJs probs low freq pre for SB and although you lose to 99 TT sometimes they also have JJ-QQ, Tx
Interesting thing I was thinking about is what line will SB put in most money against. People are kinda passive and nitty in 4b pots relative to solver in general imo, so probably need to just put in money yourself

HH2: I've seen solvers flat AKo there as well. Dominating SB Kx draws and Ax draws post and having showdown value in lot of lines is part of it and why they get to river there imo
Agree with what you said and your QTs line looks good, only worry if they show up with the 0EV theory calldowns like Jx or 77-88. On turn there's lot of bluff options for u like KT KQ and weaker Ax, but when they keep folding just keep blasting lol. Check raise QTs on turn to own their floats and stabs or realise eq and bluff river is nice option too

HH4: Agree snapcall unlikely to be top range. Q is really good river too since lot of your bluffs improve. Unblocking flushdraw is nice for uoir hand too and I'd defo jam if got there. Solvers usually giveup your hand on turn since it blocks backdoor flushdraw folds, but I think it's fine. Would only worry if they show up the 0EV turn and river stuff like 77-TT

HH6: Pretty nice call. Not in love with spot since BTN bluff combos should be quite filtered after flop, but maybe easy for BTN to overdo river especially if some sets bet turn

HH9: their chat was pretty honest lol. Hindsight is 2020, but I'd guess most people are less likely to put stuff in chat when weak since scared of giving it away
I'd bet the river bigger (50% or jam) as well expecting them to be pretty capped. Bet small would be to induce or get hero'd, but heros probs call b50. Their bluffs probably bet river themselves so after they raise this has to be pair or air turning into bluff, or just trap. I'd need special read to call that, bit too fancy a play for fish bluff I think. Fish check raise turn or river is alarm bells for me
I wish my blog would be as advance as your reply editing.
As always agree with your analyses completely.
HH2 was one of those hands that is hard to get out of your mind as session continues, because I start to question my understanding of the spot and then what could be his reasoning for playing that hand in that way... Maybe he just RNG this spot and doesn't know what his doing and I'm overthinking.
HH9 Yea pure fu** up, chat got me too curious... If you ever want me to call just type some dumb sh** and I won't be able to help myself.
H2 I know what you mean. They maybe like the deception aspect of flatting or assume sb will put in too much money on A/K hi boards. But no one plays vs 4b perfect so it’s not clear how flat>4b imo, which is why I think they just RNG and played well post. Or maybe it’s clear to them and they’re a 100nl crusher idk
Hahah can relate to the curious call so bad lol, when I cant make sense of fish play I just call
