Actually we like birds in France so the expression is closer to "2 targets with 1 stone", my mistake.

Not sure how often I'll update the thread re: fitness freerolls, but we're off to a good start. Still ate tasty food the past two days but used portion control and supplemented the meals with protein shakes. Hit the gym both days as well.

Going to adopt the Belgian version, I like it a lot better.

Scheduled to be interviewed by Colin Moshman tomorrow at 3 PM EST, I believe it's on his Twitch stream. Format involves him peppering me with questions while I 4-table, which is actually rather difficult. I can 24-table, or I can answer questions thoughtfully, but both at the same time? Meh. I'm pretty terrible at holding a conversation while grinding, just ask my GF.

Gl with the interview, I'll be lurking ('cause that's what I do best). Always interesting to pick your brain.

fun fly fact: A clap is the most fly approach to manually killing a fly as the fly will fly upwards in response to the pressure ways from your hands flying together..

Not particularly stoked about the profit totals, but otherwise this month was moderately successful.

Games: 5442 (5399 $100 Spins)
Hours: 165

Put in more hours than I had hoped for, in addition to regular stable duties (Group coaching, individual HH reviews, etc), surpassing twenty gym sessions, and personal life responsibilities. Would love to maintain that sort of productivity for future months, but I don't think it's that likely. Was in Canada for all of August, and I know that won't be the case in September.

Ended the month with 47 cEV, which I suppose is respectable, but feels like a beat based on what I expect to achieve. Can't simply blame negative variance for it, as I definitely picked up a few bad habits during my week long cEV downswing. But seems like I've fixed that, and I expect to maintain 50+ going forward.

PreRB total is $7200. Based on the cEV, I earned about $21,200 in equity, so finished August $15,000 below EV.

Big reason for that is because I went 1-6 in 25x and 0-1 in 100x; pretty brutal to have a month's work boil down to 7 games, but that's Spin life. On the plus side, I did make $1400 in RB. That sounds like a decent amount, right? Well, it's less impressive when you realize I paid more than $27,000 in rake.

Don't mean to sound too despondent about the results, making $8600 in a month is certainly not something to sneeze at. And fact that my equity + RB was $23,000 as edges get thinner across the board is something I'm super happy about, especially since there appears to be a large contingent of cheaters populating my games. Can only imagine what the true equity would be, if/when Stars bans all of them.

Since I'll be busy for much of September, my goals are a bit less ambitious than last month

Goals:
1) 3000 Spins
2) Play a handful of COOPs
3) Continue the previously mentioned diet/fitness stuff thru the 21st

More info on that one please, time to taken action. I'm aware of botting and stuff going on, any hint might help to work against it.

by cheaters you mean bots? i've been feeling like for the last month or two there suddenly started to grow a handful of players who went from 2-4 table average guys to 6-8 tables crushers with completely different style of play

Just report as much as you can, especially suspicious new accounts. And hope Akis doesn't reg daily 20 new accounts.

Most notable/recent cheating has been the botting. Origins appear to be from Akis, who has been advertising his 'undetectable' bot to many Spin regs. Some surely have taken him up on the offer, and others associated with him were likely using it previously. Heard rumors that pre-existing accounts have been purchased as well. Several accounts in HU/Spins have already been banned and I'm hoping there are more to come. Am in contact with Stars regarding suspicious accounts, as are many others.

There's also the 'lesser' cheating that still remains, the database sharing, the Skype registration queues, etc. Good news is that Stars at least appears to be trying to do something about it. The guys who are cheating are pure scumbags and if you're a cheater/reading this, I'd like to dedicate part of Silky Johnson's rant to you (Starting at 0:10).

Software update has helped, runs a lot more smoother now. Only have a few hundred game sample, $100s seem super reggy unfortunately but the Rakeback is obviously nice. Will likely continue to mix it into my grind, but if I was worried about cheating on PS, I fear it's much worse on other sites.

Well boys, we got that EV back.

Friend of mine asked me to babysit his son again and I reluctantly agreed. Couple of weeks earlier, I was babysitting his son and binked a 100x, only to lose the HU to a fellow reg. It stung. But I brought my laptop with me once more, hoping I could run a bit better this time. Didn't start out amazingly well, in fact both the cEV and actual dollar line didn't look too pretty, and then up popped a 200x!

Was me, ucnatspel, and a recreational. Managed to chip up a bit early, ucnatspel lost a flip in somewhat gross fashion, and then I was HU vs the rec. I lost a few 60/40s and 40/60s and was feeling the sads, but he thankfully he doubled me up in some lol spots (last one got him down to half a BB).

Thanks!

I'll be sure to personally handle their accommodations, including access to one of the finest 2-year old couches in downtown Vancouver. For those not in on the joke, Egption's roommates happen to be my GF's sister and her boyfriend. Small world, huh? They're arriving on the 7th and staying with us for a few days, so my volume that weekend is going to suck. Was originally planning on playing COOPs on the weekends, but certainly won't be happening that one.

Still feeling all the feels of that 200x bink. While I'm definitely running bad in 25-100x games, I've now binked two 200x this year and shipped them both. That surely makes up for it. Went through and calculated my EV for the year, and as it turns out, I'm officially over EV for 2017.

It's not a huge amount (~20 buy-ins) but I'll take it. Seems like the perfect time to sign an EV deal/purchase EV insurance and I'm strongly considering that.

I keep talking about taking a day off and that was the plan today. Fresh off of a decent score, could have spent the day enjoying some Vancouver sun, hanging with the GF, going out to nice dinner, and not worrying about clicking buttons in the right order. Besides, Saturdays are arguably the worst day to grind. But alas, I got the itch around 1 PM, GF made plans to get lunch/go to some clothing store sale with her friends, and I put in normal volume. It went well, no regrets.

Missed the gym today because I had left my phone at my friend's house the night before, and I can't bring myself to lift without music. It's only the first day I've missed tho since the 28th. Diet has been on point, calorie wise -- food choices could be better, but this method allows me to keep more of my sanity.

Cliffs:
- Gym/Diet going well
- Winning $20k is fun
- I'm a 2017 SunRunner
- More volume on the horizon
- Eventually I'll take a day off

LeaksSuck can give you more details than I can. I've been personally offered two EV deals, one with the added benefit of coaching/video content, and the other completely free of any group. The associated 'fee' varies, of course.

Obviously the benefit is that your profits will be less dependent on variance, but I'm still weighing the pros/cons. If I do end up signing a deal, I'll post my thoughts about it afterward.

Gym/Fitness Update:
- Oops, had one of my first cheat days on Monday. Didn't mean to, but GF and I went out for Sushi and the plates just kept coming. Not sure I reached 2700 calories, but I definitely went over 1800 so one day is gone.
- Only missed one gym day so far, meaning I can go 7/15 and ship it. I'll likely go more though.
