Sorry forgot to do my total whining, here are heads up results

Winning at 11bbers, but realizing 1bber, brutal, think this might be the worst stretch I've gone through

All in is absolutely insane, not even the above but I cannot tell you how many sub 5 bb folds I've seen and ones where I had like 1010+ or A10s+, just crazy. The ol 30+bber winrate with -90 realized....just absolutely LOL

We're all the time confined to fit the mold, but I won't ever let them make a loser of my soul.

God damn pokerstars.

Honestly going to do some database analysis v turn xrs and just start folding just about everything, think I'm getting smashed in these spots, obviously GTO this has to be a call, but I feel exploitatively people are NOT bluffing enough. Think I should just call turns and fold rivers because if they bet brick rivers they almost always have it.

100nl

Feels good to be crushing again

Even crushing HU, added like 2-3bb/100 after doing the Doug Polk HU course

Will post some hands from 100NL later

Would be nice to win something once in a while though, guess we'll just be happy with the fundamentals or something???

Update

SUN RUN OF THE GODS

Pacing in the 20ish range, hope to keep it up

Dat 7k hand break even and 1.5k bb in 1.5k hands

I think from now on, I'll just make 4k every 5 days, sounds like a decent deal to me tbqh fam or I'll just start having 3k days more often either or really.

Last 3 months, I almost always win massive every 300 games:
Had my first big win 250 games in
Next one 1100 games in
Next one 1500 games in
Next one 1800 games in
Next two 2100 games in (making up for the 300 game gap to start)

Nearing 80kgs, so nearly 40kgs lost in the past year, feels good man.

Hey 7OAD, in for this journey! Congratulations on the weight loss long term that should be the most important thing! Few comments/questions:

1) Are you still 1 tabling? Seems like a massive ev loss especially compared to just 2-4 tables.

2) My good friend and partner and I actually invented the Zoom HU TKO format! My memory is a bit hazy but I think it launched in MicroMillions 2017 for the first time. I think our script required the Zoom portion end with 4 players remaining so we added the TKO element to prevent stalling in this format.

I also was the person behind adding the Triple Threats (my name shoutout to the WWE) and the 3-Max PKO's to the main schedule along with my main man Big L. Looks like you're making a nice chunk of change from these games

You seem to be one of the biggest enthusiasts for both formats which brings me a lot of joy. Can you talk a bit about your experiences with both formats and what the player journey is like?

Thank you, I used to be in quasi fitness model shape, so I've held 8% bf against my body's wishes for long periods of times, getting down to the 11-13% range shouldn't be too bad.

Oh it definitely is, what can I say? When it comes to certain things I like working myself to the bone, other things I just can't be ****ed. But what I will say is that I have the best "ability" of the open accounts on SS in HU PKO zooms and if I exclude the 100 or so 11s that I played and got a bunch of top 2-5s without a W (gonna go for it now) while also having the 2nd highest av stake of entry. That and my win rate which is also a function of the heavy notes I take on all players on a variety of different things shows me that it's not all bad. I do agree though, I should try adding some tables, but I'd rather just get everything perfect before I do that so it's basically second nature, I feel as though I'm almost to that point.

My biggest thing personally is just getting more students under me to grind these, once I do that, it'll be effectively like adding tables and I personally love teaching far more than adding tables, so that's gonna be the big thing.

That's sick man, trust me I love that format, I've been lobbying for more of them for a long time, so thank you for adding the ones out there! I actually have to win one of those 3maxes, 2 2nds and a ton of top 10s in the the 25k, so annoying lol. But yeah man I love the zooms, shame Stars refuses to listen to my suggestions for more, they even added a $16.5 which does very well for them at the time slot I suggested along with a few other tournies that crush it for them.

Sure:
I always loved zooms even starting on 888
Since you can play 4-7x as many hands per hour, it is basically like playing 4-7x as many tournaments and if you factor in the 10-20% of tournies that are hypers/turbos that people play, it is a lot more due to the average hands played in zooms are much much higher
I was fortunate to win the $1 1.2k zoom for $200 which was a massive score for me 1.5 years ago, then within a month I had won the $3.30 3k pko zoom TWICE in the next month, so I went from -$3-400 to up to nearly a grand in a month, kinda crazy how lucky I am as I was a pretty poor player back then, but I guess it's the low stakes so not too too bad
I guess I made up for my good luck with like 10 top 10-20s in the $11 HU PKO Zoom over the next few months
Fortunately for me, I was smart enough to take a 20 BI shot (#AdvancedPokerStrategy) at the $33 HU and I ran the particularly advanced strategy of #RunGood #Win20BITournamentsYouEnter and the first time I played I won $200, then I won the whole thing the 2nd time I ever played, but you know what followed? Here I'll show you

Win it the 2nd time you play it and you're gonna pay for it!

But yeah basically I love zooms, if I can play 4 tournies a day, it's pretty much in the 12-16 range in terms of relative volume daily

Sun run continues

Well, kinda, lost AA v kj and then lost a9s v kj with a flopped fl d and 89% to the turn, two massive pots towards the end that rekt me

On the bright side, I continue to crush

So nice to see the Doug Polk HU course paying massive dividends

I still do believe I can make a few small improvements in a few areas as well, if I can get over 20 that would be so ****ing sick, not even sure 25 is possible due to the bounty hunting nature of the tourny, but if I can get to 21 or 22, that would be beautiful

Other positives, recently got up to around 2050 chess rating which officially puts me in the top 2% of chess.com, not even practicing chess apart from playing, no post game analysis or even chess channel watching (apart from maybe one alpha zero video per month).

Man poker is so swingy, gotta love it, what a high, can't believe the thoughts that ran through my mind just a few days ago after getting another 4th

1.Doug Polk's HU course
2.Database analysis COMBINED with the above, there are exploits that Doug absolutely does not talk about in the games I play

Been a ****ing week since I won one of them, what a joke!!!

Other notes, I was basically in fitness model shape before I stopped training and ballooned up to 260lbs, I trained like 2-3x not really seriously or dieting last year and got down to 230lbs still very very fat (specifically for my standards). I had some muscle mass and still decent strength (doing lunges with 50lb dbs, inclining 70lbs) when I moved back to Bulgaria.

Now I'm down to around 180lbs in 3.25 months 5-6x a week, eating 1.5kcal on average (some refeeds here and there probably not much more than 3kcal though) and I'm relatively close to where I was before, interesting to see how quickly the mass comes back, the only thing I lack is really the "pop" and "polish" that I had before, but the mass is very very close to me when I was at my peak

My friend's (known him and her for like 20 years) mom is coming to visit in 2 weeks, so I really have to be perfect with everything as it'd be nice to surprise her and get to around 175lbs where I'll look damn good all things considered considering she last saw me at around 235lbs 7 months ago.

FINALLY won a tournament again, can't believe it took me a whole 10 days, PATHETIC! Funny thing is I had been getting crushed in the games as of "late" (past few days) and I had dropped like $700 on them and 100NL where I got merked.

But seriously, lost two 60/40s in that 3rd place tournament in the final 4, so ****ing annoying, man I swear I get so tilted at times, I really need to start meditating and get my **** together, not that it effects my game play, but I need to ****ing relax lmao.

Going to bed or going to try and getting up in 2 hours to grind the $33 hu, nothing like running on 4-5 hours of sleep, but it needs to happen, I need to manifest destiny.

On the downside, my chess has been going trash, down to 1930 from a peak of 2050, but I guess that's not too bad, my low point last year by April was 1770, so it's good to see that the peak has moved roughly 80 points in a year while the drop has moved up nearly 100 as I bottomed out at 1880 (1770) and then felt like the low 1800s and few 1700s I played couldn't keep up.

The weight loss continues to go well, no cheats in the past month, although I'm so ****ing flat it's a joke, but I'm just gonna keep it up for another 2 weeks and then do a refeed after my friend's mom comes here.

Been a while.

I won this one too.

Gonna go to sleep in a bit for 4 hours and then get up and grind the 16.5 and if I get rekt in that the 7.50 hyper.

Let's make it a 10k month, roughly 3k away for that to happen. I think I have one more win in me+ a few deep runs and I'm gucci gucci.

10k last year, to a potential 10k month (ok it's not a month by any meaningful metric, but 30 days is 30 days AND I'M USING MY 30 DAYS AS I WANT GOD DAMN IT)....feelsgoodman
