To tell you about my background, I am a semi-noobish player. I will be following the, 1/2 hour of reading for every 3.5 hours of play.

*any related material with links would be appreciated*
I also have a bunch of ebooks so basically any recommended books should be noted.

I am bad at cash games but 20ish% ROI in a 750ish game sample at 5.50 STTs. I will be doing 9-180 mans, with the odd large field tourney. My bankroll will be 65 buyins for every game I play. I play at Titan & Stars, both with pending bonuses of 200 and 600.

I also have Holdem Manager, recommended SNG stats would be appreciated.

I have almost unlimited amount of time to play/day, as I have no work or school until Sept, I may need to find a job, if I cant clear the bonus in under a month. I need to make $300/mo to withdraw (is it possible to clear one bonus or the other, in under a month)

PS. any strategy to get the 2000 bonus from Titan for dirty dozen?

Again, in short, the goal is to have 12000 between both accounts by August 31st, gives me just over 3 months. My computer is somewhat slow, so 6 tables is all I can run at any one time.

Is this going to be possible, really hard, or doable? I know its not gonna be easy.

Will post daily, or weekly updates.

Total bankroll starting 4PM 28/05/10
$582.30, it would be 750ish, but effing titan poker is annoying, My roll dropped 150 in a matter of seconds after i clicked the casino to look around, and started playing with the numbers and my mouse got stuck on max bet, betting 6 times at 25 each....stupid.

Hard to say there is anything out there that is not doable, and I'm sure if we do then MI_Turtle will do it within 72 hours...anyway.. Hard to say, your biggest limitation is playing 6 tables I think... you may have to start considering sacrificing HM in order to be able to play more tables, playing those sng turbos you're not going to use the numbers as much as you would in cash though. Although they would still be nice to have and I'm sure you'd feel handicapped at first. I think tis something you may want to consider. Also, IMO 65 buyins past the 45 mans is too low. I may be too conservative, but you know you have to go on those bad runs, and you play that deep to your br you've got to just hope you don't run bad straight off the blocks. That's what I would say... play as many tables as possible, volume is your friend, and because you're trying to clear those bonuses so fast, stick to the smaller tourneys that will run faster, that's going to also help you because you can play with a higher % of your br as variance will be lower.

Thanks for the post, I forgot to mention, 65 Buyins is JUST STTs. MTTs ill be following 100BI, up to 180, anything higher, as in large field, im doing a super conservative, 200BI. Thanks.

Very difficult to 20X your bankroll in such a short time only playing 6 tables. Might be possible if you run good and put in loads of hours. Good luck

Sounds like that br management is as good as it gets. Why did you choose 12k just out of curiosity? Is there a formula you're using? Assuming a certain ROI each day? Check out my blog if you get the chance, email me or check my profile to get the address... i'm not allowed to post links to outside blogs on 2+2.. but you should consider starting a blog, good way for people to follow you.

3 Reasons, 1. It would pay my first years university tuition & 2 is connected in that I have around 6-8000 debt. 3, the completely unrelated, is that I am in a 150$ prop bet with my friend. I will check out your blog, but I also need specific ways to get a lot better, in such a short period, he has already made it to 3k from absolutely 0 BR management, and having ridiculous luck on FT rush tables...I chose the safe way, and its been making me like...a dollar an hour.lol.

Session started at 4pm. Ended at 1:45am saturday

+111.47

Might have just run super good today, got lucky in a few tourneys, on the bubble buddy gets queens, all in, kings call, 6s (big stack) call, hits a 6 on the flop, and im heads up, with like 100 chips in a SNG, free money i guess...lol. another one, i flopped trips, played it well, knocked out a guy with a worse kicker, and another idiot with ace high. hand RIGHT after, i call a small raise, flop trip 4s, on a low board in position, queens insta allins jacks insta calls, TP A9 callls, another 3 people knocked out...all in two hands. lol. 9k stack, 1 off the bubble, in the first blind level of a STT...

Hopefully I can keep it up. at 100/day, 12000 is achievable...

Advice, should I keep playing when im up huge such as today, or call a certain profit threshold...?

I have now figured out my formula for success...

I will be running 6 tables of STT SNGs, 1-2 small BI large field, and 2-4 4.40 180 mans.

I figure my variance is much lower in 10 handed SNGs and I can take a run for it in 180s and large fields with basically free money from SNGs.

I found, with HM, the most tables I can run is about 10 before my mouse starts to lag, although i played 16 earlier, and it was still okay, just took like 50 clicks to click fold...

Could I just be running real hot, or is it a sign that I should play 4.40s?

Out of I think 30 times ive played, ive cashed 7 times two of which were 2nd? Got kinda unlucky, woulda won the one, lost with queens vs 6s

dont get ahead of yourself. try to stay calm. bad runs will eventually happen and you will need all that bankrollmamangment sooner or later.

well i wouldnt say bad run, but im still holding steady, havent gone up or down in the past 2 days of solid playing, just a sample was today, 1st place in 180 man 30 people left

Here is the situation I need an opinion on

I had 18k chips. kings mid position, guy in early position with 11k chips, raises 3x or 4x, i reraise to 3200, he pushes, i insta call, sure enough, aces.

info on the guy was super tight, about 10% vpip, only 20 or so hands of data though.

a few hands later, i get bad and push with queens in mid position with one limper, turns out the limper had kings. busted. blinds are at 300/600 i think in both situations.

oh and limper didnt knock me out, he only had 3k, left with 5k, i push the hand right after to a small raise with A7off...stupid me, i guess i couldve waited, but i figured it was good against the blinds and an aggressive big stack raiser, my mistake, he had AK.
