I've been gaining considerable confidence in my ability to play poker as of late, especially these specific tournaments. I have not, however, been gaining confidence in my bankroll management. Try as i might, I will always hit a level too high for my bankroll. I just recently lost a $500.00 bankroll that I built from $20.00 in the stroke of a mouse. So, In somewhat of an effort to save myself from this, I am committing to a bankroll challenge. I have built my bankroll back up using a very aggressive style to about $200.00. Terms of the challenge
*I will start with ~100 buy-ins for the 2.20 level of 6 max Hyper Turbos.
*If I drop below $150.00, I will go down in rank to $1.10 Hypers.
*I will only play ten games a day, playing two hundred games total over a span of twenty days.
*I will post graphs of progression/digression every day, and ask questions about my playing style in an attempt to better myself.
Day 1 Results:
Starting Bankroll - 207.59
Ending Bankroll - 209.59
Games Played: (10/200)
Progression/Digression: +$2.00
Pretty unfortunate day, all in all. I kept getting premium hands like A10o or KQs in the small blind and shoving, just to be called by an even better hand or get sucked out by a worse one by the big blind. That's poker, though.
I have a question, though. How would you play K10s UTG? is it a fold, a min raise to 2 blinds, or a shove?
