Btw I think people massively underestimate how tough it is mentally to play for yourself and see your net worth fluctuating massively day in day out.
It was not long ago I had a $2-300k bankroll and had a mental weakness that there was no way I could play MTTs without being stakes. There was just different things and emotions that I couldn't handle when playing for myself which were perfectly fine when "it was somebody else's money"
I'm going to record some footage and around 2 hour video and post it on the thread. I'll make the video on Friday.
What's the best way for me to release it? Iirc YouTube took so long to process videos.
Also what would people like to see? Pick 10-20 hands from all different tournaments and go through them? Hand history review from a deep run? Analyse a hole cards up final table?
If I don't finish the video before Sunday then I add an extra $1k to the charity pool. If it isn't released by this time next week I'll add another $1000.
Will also be doing s bunch of forfeit to charity amounts.
I went for the first run on my fitness plan this morning. Jesus it was tough. I used to be a really good runner, people who know me probably will be surprised, I'm short and stocky but when I was 14-16 I was running very competitively cross country and long distance running and was probably top 20 in the country and definitely top 3 in north of England.
This morning I ran 7 minutes to a green, sprinted around the green, recovered half of the green, sprinted again a lap and jogged slowly home. I was absolutely ****ed. I took some pictures for "before" I won't release them right now out of shame
but hopefully in 1-2 months after I work and train hard I'll feel ok posting before and after.
Meeting Demetri tomorrow and going to look around at his gym. Funny that Demetri is one of the biggest competitors in the business and he lives less than 5 minutes from my house.
Will start trying to add more pictures/colour to the thread too.
