Hi,

First a little history:

I have been playing for a couple of year but never moved beyond 50nl, because I just like a little extra (mostly easy) money.

Garph or it didnt happen:

This graph is a combination of 6m hu and fr, in stakes varying from 10nl to 50nl.

Goals:

- have a sufficient roll for 100l (30 bi)
- improve my game to beat ze REGS

Rules:
- I need 30bi for 50nl HU but will take stabs when I feel I am playing my A game
- I need 20bi for 50nl 6m
- I need 30bi for 100nl 6m but will take stabs now and then
- take shots at 100nl when I feel like it

Games I will play:
50nl hu
25-50nl Rush
50nl 6m

Current roll: close to 30bi for 50 nl

- Biggest leaks:

4 bet bluffing regs and not folding to their shoves (major leak) They always have the goods

I need to improve my handreading.

Im at work currently, posting from my phone. I will review july when I get home.

Volume for august: 20-30k hands.
I will continue to play at ft and prima and might go back to ongame. It seems the games are rather juice at ongame. I might make a small deposit there thia week.

Imo 50nl games at ft are softer compared to prima, although I only have a small sample at ft. I find ft regs easier to beat than prima regs. ft has more fish also, especially at dayrime.

then you're not 4bet bluffing in the first place, I'd recommand a more polarized kind of range if you can't fold the hands ranked just under your valuerange so it makes the fold easier

I totally agree. I am probable better of 4 betting total garbage and monsters so I dont get tempted to call ashovewith medium hands.

Finished my first session of the month. I decided to 6 table although I play my best game when I play 2-4 tables of 6 max and I started of with rush untill I got a few tables running.

Not much interesting has happened.

Few hands:

Biggest losing hand so far:

Rush and no reads. I guess my 3 bet pre was too small, next time I will make it 3,5 or 3,75. Minbet and minrr made me think he either had a monster or was drawing. When he led the turn this small I was kinda confused but decided to ship.

Biggest mistake was calling his min 4 bet on the flop obviously.

Villain was a nit, one might consider folding but I decided to flat because nits will often play their hand face up so I would be able to steal the pot a large % of the time. Once he checks the river, I should have potted imo, but because I was 6 tabling I kinda missed this spot. Thats why its better for me to 4 table lol.

Villain in the blind was a fish and button was a new player at the table. I decide to go for a chr since the board was dry and hoped villain would take a stab.

The advantage of chraising here is that I have a nice potsize bet over for the turn.

What do you guys think? Lead out or chr?

Finished for the day.

1 bad 4-bet hand, I should have folded vs his shove or flatted his 3b, it was against an aggro villain. I thought his range was wide, once he reraised I should just fold.

The guy was 50/22 3b 23 only 10 hands or so but once he shoves I will just fold, this will save me so much money.

Second marginal hand, this was probably a fold pre. Villain: 21/9 3b 9,1 is that even possible lol? Although I dont hate my call pre and I think my turn shove is ok, I picked up a ton of equity.

Top pair is not the stone cold immortal nuts. Check-raising it into multiple people then shoving the turn when you get called is not going to make you money.

Please pay attention when people raise you. Especially when they min-reraise you.

For the ak hand:
Well, I didnt really think I would get called on that board but if villain didnt bet the flop it still wouldnt be a disaster bc it was so dry board.
Only hand that beat be on the flop are 22 and kq, I had tptk and am willing to play for stacks there against 99% of villains.

Once my cr gets called its an easy ship though. You would be amazed the crap pple call with.

I agree that the 1010 hand was a fold, but different fish minraise different hands, sometimes its a draw, sometimes its the stonecold nuts, sometimes its tp.

Just did a little hm check for the month of juli:

- down 131$ in EV from 4 bet pots filtered without AA KK QQ AK AKs, so I have called a few times with medium strenght hands, if I just folded to their shove I would be up in these 4bet pots, including these hands im up $126 EV.
This is something I will pay a lot of attention to in august.

Another trouble spot: Calling pfl 3 bets, this seems to be my biggest leak, $EV: -330. I didnt los a lot of stacks but lost a ton of smaller pots. Biggest losers:
- low pairs: -$136 (46 hands)
- non suited hands (qj kq etc) -$74
- medium pairs -$24 (although i think these will be winners in the long run.
- non suited aces -$37

Conclusion: fold small pp's vs 3b, find a new way to play j10+, a10+ vs 3 bets, probable fold more often and 4 bet more often???? Kinda confused here.

Biggest winning hands for the month
: AA, 1010 (!) This hand is often one of my biggest losers, AQo

Biggest losers: QJo !!! A8o ??? kqs ???

Back,

Its hard keeping this thread updated but Im trying .

Roll is a little over 2k now.

August has been great so far, I took 2 stabs at 100nl, one at ub where I decided to take a 3 bi shot but I managed to lose 1,5 bi and decided to quit.

Second shot was at FT and the difference between 50 en 100nl is bigger then the one from 25 to 50nl IMO. Although I only have a small sample, the regs seem better and less tight passive fish. Here I won a bi with a big pair vs a uberaggro dude, played some more hands and was up around 1,5 bi.

Today was my first bad day, I am back to ongame and need to adjust to the 70/60 guys, they are uberfish but hard to beat if I miss every flop.

Afterwards I decided to play some 50nl rush and managed to lose a few big pots. 1 suckout and a few hands where I obviously wasnt playing good, I think I played a little tilted. Something I try to avoid, but whatever, I quit the session so Its all fine.l

A few hands:

First 2 hands Im not too proud of, but we.

Here my plan was to shove and fold out the callers hand, although afterwards a fold would have been better, not because he had AA but because he was a nit and his flatcall should have made the alarmbells go off. But like I said I didnt play my A game today.

I really loved my min 5 bet, bc I had some hands on villain and he likes 4 betting and folds 0 % to 3 bets. With my min 5 bet Im really only repping AA and Im sure it looked fos to him. So when he shoves I insta call. Raising bigger obviously folds out his blufs.

Cooled down a little and decided to play some hu. Note: I felt like I was back to playing my normal game, I laughed a little about the KK vs Axs hand , counted my sklansky bucks and the money I will win in the longrun when my kk gets it in vs their axs.

I decided to play 30nl on ongame, hu games are always juicy and its basically a risk free practice for my skills. The typical ongame fish likes to get it in with little equity and preferably tp without kicker. i played 2 different opponents, both fish.

I finished the session up a couple of bi and even sucked out on a guy!! Played well overall, but think I misplayed a few hands.

Villain was a fish, only once in 10 hands did he fold to a 3 bet, his raise seemed like a tp or a draw, either way I was never ahead a lot so decided to fold. He folded often to my double barrels in single raised bots. Folded a few hands vs cbet in 3b pots, this was his first spazout.
